Monthly Rentals in Alta Sierra

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

Although I've stayed in several Airbnb's, it's always been with a group. This was my first time being the renter and I couldn't have picked a better situation to be my first. John was honestly awesome. To start, he's very selective on who he rents to. He took time to understand the purpose of my trip to ensure that his property was a good fit. John provided step by step detail to ensure we had a smooth transition into the property. The property was 100% as described. Very close to Kernville which included restaurants, grocery stores and tourism options. Quiet neighborhood, extremely close to the beautiful Lake Isabella! During my stay John was extremely attentive and responsive to text messages and phone calls. He even arranged for maid service mid stay while we were out of town. It's safe to say that John went above and beyond our expectations as a host. He's truly a superhost. And someone I plan on staying in contact with as a friend. The Lookout is amazing. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The views are amazing and the host made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Giving us a tour of the property and recommendations on nearby restaurants and hikes made planing easy for us. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return in the future.

What a dreamy stay! We loved the house and location so much. Directions were easy to follow and communication was outstanding. We had a wonderful time and loved that we had some snow to enjoy as well. Would definitely stay again.
