The Modern Alpine Studio is a custom designed studio space, part of an 11-acre property backing up to the Tahoe National Forest in Alpine Meadows. There is direct access to hiking, mountain bike trails, snowshoeing and back country skiing and close access to horse stables, Five Lakes Trailhead, paved bike trails, and one mile to the base of Alpine Meadows Ski Area. The Studio has high quality furnishings featuring a stone fireplace and hot tub in a quiet setting with beautiful mountain views!

Today, their beloved home enters a new chapter with new owners. It's still available to guests desiring a space for retreat, in a home of beautiful interiors and Alpine views.
What guests are saying:“We loved our stay here. This place oozes the beautiful aesthetics of Heath without it feeling like a show room. Every room is well styled with beautiful lamps, vases and books. The kitchen has everything you need and nothing more which makes it easy to cook in. I really appreciated the great knife set, the weck jars for storage, the slab cutting board and the vintage Oster blender. Instead of going out to eat, we wanted to stay in and cook. After a day on the mountain we enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Overall, I loved how they styled the house within the original constraints. It felt refreshing as. Compared to all the remodels and we were comfortable and inspired throughout our stay.”

What guests are saying:“My husband and I (and our pups) got to spend a week at Jennifer & Kevin’s place, and we absolutely loved it. It was so hard to leave! The house is gorgeous! So many cute details. Plus the kitchen is stocked with everything you may need to cook, even oils/seasonings. It was also sparkling clean when we checked in (on that note - we also really appreciated that the hosts use mostly eco-friendly products - so nice!). And to our surprise - despite the heat wave (85F), the house remained pleasantly cool the entire time. Even cool enough to enjoy the beautiful fireplace. Both decks are great for hanging out, and the hot tub + BBQ are just cherries on the top :) If you come up with your dog - there’s a great park 1 block away with many trails and even a long (10mi out and back) hike to the mountain summit. Really fun to bring your dog on. The neighborhood itself is super quiet. But Tahoe City is ~5 min drive away, and Truckee is about 20. So you’re really close to everything. There’s also a small public beach 2 min away. Honestly this was our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Can’t wait to come back!”
