Whitfield Bothy Cottage & Hot Tub

KerryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Woodland views from your balcony and hot tub

HollyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our favourite stay yet! From the hamper of locally sourced goods, fresh cut flowers, and star gazing kit, Louise and Phil have thought of it all! This gorgeous barn couldn’t be better equipped, it has everything you need to make it a real ‘home from home’. We were pleasantly surprised with just how much space you get when you stay here and how private it is. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and around the fire pit surrounded by the beautiful garden and woodland. The table tennis table and darts board ensures there’s plenty for you to do during typical British shower. Louise and Phil couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, genuinely lovely people and meeting beautiful Alfie was a bonus too!! 🐾 We didn’t want to go home and will definitely be back, thank you!

The Tweed Log Cabin with Hot Tub, Northumberland

JamesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Thank You

Lesbury Lodge - (a 'bijou residence') with hot tub

AndyRating, 5 stars32 months ago
My girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend at Sue's place and it was great. We had plenty of communication from Sue before hand with some very comprehensive directions. Check in was super easy with a key left in a lock box. The house and the hot tub were toasty warm ready for when we arrived which was really nice. The space is small but plenty enough for the 2 of us plus the dog. The kitchen was well equipped and thankfully the microwave doubles as a convection oven! I had a mild panic when we arrived and couldn't see an oven because I'd made us a fish pie! Thankfully the microwave cooked it beautifully although I wouldn't recommend it for bigger things. We ate out at the Fishing Boat Inn not far away after reading Sue's recommendation in the welcome book. My god it was good! I bet its amazing in the summer as its right on the beach front. The food was incredible and the service equally as good. Can't recommend them enough. All in all, it was a really lovely stay in the peace and quiet.
A single-story cabin is visible amidst greenery, featuring a wooden exterior and a dark roof. A walkway leads to the entrance, framed by blooming flowers and shrubs. Surrounding trees provide natural shade, and the gravel path is seen in the foreground.

Silver Fox Barn, Chatton, near Bamburgh

TimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a fantastic stay at Silver Fox Barn. Came for a last minute mid-week break and was not disappointed. Jonathan was quick to organise everything and very detailed with his instructions. The property itself is lovely, modern but very homely feeling with everything we needed and more. Located in a very pretty and quiet area, but still very close to everywhere you'd like to visit in the area. Also went for dinner at one of the recommended restaurants just 10 minutes drive away and not disappointed. We would gladly recommend and return again in future!

Great cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Martin and Rosie were available if needed but unobtrusive. Wonderful location wirhin the town walls wirh river views. Our stay was in a very warm period so the upstairs bedroom was very hot and maybe a blackout blind on the velux window may be helpful. That said, we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you both.😍

Perfect place for our needs for 3 nights away. Fantastic location for both shops/bars/restaurants and Jesmond Dene. We were able to walk into the city, along the quayside, and through Ouseburn via Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene back to the place. It’s a great walk and highly recommend it. Joanne is a great host. Perfect in terms of instructions for access, parking, and recommendations. The place is clean and cosy. What more can you ask for.

Great to be back for a return visit. As always everything was clean and tidy. Andrew and Lisa are great hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure guests have a fantastic stay. There's plenty to do in the area, I spent the weekend cycling and it's really easy to jump onto the Waskerley Way, which is about a mile from the farm.

Simply stunning. Just back from four night break at Green Loaning Allanton and everything was perfect from start to finish. Without a doubt the most accurately described air b&b we’ve ever stayed at. Truly peaceful even tho you are within the lovely village of Allanton with neighbours around. Outside was an amazing fully enclosed garden which our two dogs totally adored. Inside is a breathtaking fireplace and beautifully decorated & furnished lounge, well equipped & spacious kitchen. Heading upstairs the two bedrooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated & furnished. The bed linen, towels & robes were fabulous quality and plentiful. Lowri as host does an amazing job. immediate response when contacted, extremely friendly & helpful. If there was 6 stars then thats what I would give every time. Can’t wait to return to Green Loaning 😊

The Old Station Cottage (Bamburgh / Belford)

GuyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a place! This clean, well-equipped accomodation was perfect as a base for our tour of the North East area from Alnwick to Stirling Castle. Close to Bamburgh and Seahouses, the restaurants are 10 minutes away. (You have to try the Potted Lobster at Bamburgh). If you choose to self-cater, the kitchen is fully equipped to suit family meals. For completeness, I shoud mention the trains. If you love trains as we do, then the (very) nearby NE line will not be a bother - it's all part of the experience. We didn't hear any trains after 22:30, or maybe we were so tired from our travels that we missed them. In any case the quick rumble as the express trains pass soon becomes part of the background. No more that the lowing of cows in a nearby field. Would we stay there again? Most definitely. 5 stars all the way.

Very cosy 3- bedrooms terraced cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of the lovely seaside town of Amble. It’s less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10 into the town centre which has some great cafes and restaurants. The cottage is really nicely fitted out and finished. Very clean, neat and tidy. Very comfortable. We liked the booklets giving lots of details of surrounding attractions. Parking is a very short distance away, 100 metres maybe.

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

Orchard Hideaway, 4* Luxury Lodge, wood hot tub!

EllieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with our 2yr old and 11 yr old. We all had a fantastic time and felt extremely relaxed. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and lots of little walks to explore from the cabin. On the first evening we arrived we were greeted kindly by Maggie's son who told us about the local area and made us feel at home. The wood burning hot tub was preheated and ready for us to get in (lots of wood provided )The view from the cabin was amazing and within 5 minutes we saw multiple hares and a deer. We then enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot tub looking at the stars and saw a barn owl from the woods flying over us. The next day we enjoyed playing at the tennis courts provided, enjoyed a local walk to the river and the hosts son introduced us to their "teddy bear" lambs. The next morning we visited a local cafe and play area recommended by the Maggie which was fantastic. Best Airbnb stay we've ever stayed at!
