We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We had the best weekend staying here - the place was lovely, had absolutely everything you need, with Christmas decorations giving it a lovely touch! We had a lovely few days here. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. The garden is enclosed and there were even treats for the dog and a crate already here. The place looks so adorable both inside and out it was a gorgeous place to be. We relaxed at the cottage on one day, explored the neighbouring coast, and took the train to Edinburgh. Perfect Easter break.

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

We had a lovely stay. Chris and Georgie made checkin very easy, proactively providing directions, details of checkin and key collection. The house is exactly as described and was very homely. Going the extra mile, it was lovely to turn up to plenty of essentials - tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and more than one toilet roll! The area itself is beautiful, and the house was central for visits in the surrounding area, which was all just gorgeous! Thank you for a lovely weekend

What a gem of a place! The listing was exactly what was in the tin! The hosts are top-notch and have put a lot of thought and effort into their property and guests' expectations. A well thought out welcome pack for both humans and dogs. There are 7 different areas of seating around the property and grounds all with fabulous views and so you can watch the wide variety of wildlife. When we say the place was clean, it was spotless including the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user friendly. Plenty of books, DVD's, games, puzzles, maps and toiletries. Well recommended.

An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Great lodge in a convenient location. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed, bedding and hand towels provided were lovely and clean. Self check in was really easy with instructions provided before arrival. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Susan was a lovely host and we loved our cosy stay at the comfy and clean cottage. Great for the dog and baby, loved seeing the animals. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. A bargain stay!

We had a very relaxing stay in this well proportioned property. The outlook was beautiful and the inside was exceptionally well maintained, with lots of amenities. The power shower was great and the conservatory and patio brought the outside in, as we had exceptionally good weather for the duration of our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick, Amble and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Thank you to Ian and Sharon who made us feel very welcome and a scruffle for Willow.

A well appointed, comfortable apartment in a superb spot! Ten minute walk to the beach and castle. It was spotlessly clean and the bed linen was of a high quality on a really comfortable bed. The lounge is the highlight with beautiful views over the sea! Really enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, lovely friendly lady met us as we arrived. Very peaceful pretty location. Felt like home from home. Every possible thing you could need is thought of. Gorgeous baking left for us and homemade jam little lovely extras. Just perfect

The iron chapel is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, and a lovely place to spend time with family. Lisa and Michael were great hosts, very quick to reply to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the iron chapel. Andy & Sarah.

Fantastic location, underfloor heating lovely. Happy overall. It’s a shame the local pubs/inns didn’t provide food on a nightly basis. Lovely food when available. Hope and Anchor does good food at a cost!!!!! Sun Inn great and very welcoming.

What a fantastic find, a beautiful cottage in a great location. From walking in we knew we had found a great home from home, it was easy to find and located in a lovely little village. The local pub the Northumberland was 2 mins walk and had a fantastic menu which we enjoyed, local beaches were only 15 minutes away and dog friendly. What a great 3 day break which is just what we needed. Thank you Andrew (Host). We will definitely be back.

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet part of the countryside. Shared amenities, including games room, gym and pool, are excellent. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for our holiday.

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

Just as advertised: such a great cosy space in fact that our “anti-AirBnB” 7-year-old decided she loved it and felt right at home. The place has all you need and is an 8-minute walk from great food, coffee, and more in charming Bellingham. We’ll be back for sure!

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!
