My only regret? Not booking for longer. This place was an absolute gem. Saif sent a Google maps link prior to our arrival which was really helpful as I don’t think we could have done it without that link. The chalet overlooks the motorway and out to the sea. Don’t be put off by that road, it’s so very quiet, 3-4 cars a minute in the evening, and the view from the terrace upstairs grabs all the attention anyway! The place is exactly as it looks on the pictures, spotless and well maintained but the real gem, the real star of the show is Sarath. Sarath is the most friendly, kind and helpful man I have met in a long time, nothing was too much trouble. He seems to appear just when you think you might have a question, otherwise, you don’t see him. I wasn’t sure about how I felt having someone so close by -he lives on site- but it’s really not intrusive at all. He also provided a super breakfast before we left.

We enjoyed it very much. The tent was huge, very clean + the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The listing needs to be revised, for example, we did not need a key box, but were already expected at the reception. Since there is no address in the desert, a detailed description of the journey would be absolutely necessary. We searched all over Bidiyyah and could have bypassed the place. An all-wheel drive vehicle is absolutely not necessary, although they really tried to convince us of this in Bidiyyah. Some locals also independently offered to show us the way and accompany us with their four-wheel drive if we had problems - each for the equivalent of €50 to €80 for about 20 km. Since we met quite a few tourists on the way to and in the camp itself who took advantage of this "service," I assume that this is pure profiteering. Nonetheless 👍👍

It's paradise, a peaceful place I've been able to relax in. Surrounded by the mountains the pool is very perfect! And only a 35 min drive to wadi Khalid. The host is kind and welcoming. Everything was perfect I can only recommend it! Thanks for everything
