We had an amazing stay at this place, we really enjoyed the heated pool. The house is huge and has everything you need. There was a coffee maker, coffee, BBQ charcoal, clean bath and pool towels, and cleaning supplies available. the host was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. 12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

we had a great holiday at the house. The photos don't show enough how big and beautiful the garden is. Also the house is more spacious than we expected in the pictures. Received by Lucia upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English. (I don't speak Spanish). There was also a delicious local delicacy ready for us. Very attending. The house was sparkling clean. And more spacious than I expected. The garden is large and fully fenced so our dog could walk loose. There was space for sun and shade. From the covered porch we had mountain views. The pool was wonderful as well. We were able to swim in it on hot days. It is large enough for a family of 4. The peace, the silence. Only sounds of the countryside. Cows, dogs, birds, toads. Very restful. And last but not least, the area. Really beautiful. What a beautiful region. Lucia thank you!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

Good attention, it has been a pleasure dealing with him, he has given us good directions, he has been flexible with our requests and the house is the best in what we have been. To repeat without a doubt.

Everything was wonderful, from when I made the reservation, the reception and until we left. The location is perfect, a fairly quiet area and close to the beach. We loved it! My nephew remembers the accommodation, like the beautiful house.

A wonderfully renovated old cottage on the edge of Arredondo. You have a wonderful view of the mountains when they are free of clouds or simply watch the clouds play on the mountain peaks. The covered terrace is ideal for an outdoor breakfast or dinner. We used it every day of the week to simply enjoy the view. The property is clean and well maintained. Since it is on the slope, you have to climb the mountain a bit. But certainly not a problem for hikers. A stream, the Ason, ripples below the property. Tall trees around the property, but they don't disturb you. A very nice place to stay for 4 people. We would love to come again. Unfortunately, there are too many beautiful places waiting for us. My family and I loved our stay at Marina’s place. We felt so comfy and at home. We want to return to stay again!

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

Our stay was great. The house is even better than what you see in the photos. Everything is super new and well-kept, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Raúl was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed, giving us recommendations and offering us flexibility when checking in. We will definitely repeat. Thank you for everything!!

We traveled as a family, a married couple and two teenagers, the house of the palm trees met all our expectations, the host was always attentive whenever necessary. The cleanliness is impeccable, the living room and sitting area are very spacious and comfortable. Everything is very well equipped, kitchen with plenty of kitchenware, full bathrooms. Impeccable linens, sheets and towels. Very nice views. Highly recommended.

This place is stunning, if you surf it’s just dreamy. Depending on the forecast you may need to walk the beach a bit to find the right waves for your skill level but knowing you can walk to the beach, surf, and then walk back to your home is just the best. Due to the price it’s not a place we will stay regularly but it’s perfect for a special occasion.

We spent 6 days at Maria's house and we loved it. Fully equipped to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Very quiet area. A few kilometers from the most touristy places to visit in the area. I would definitely recommend it.

The place, for a family with two children is fabulous. The views are incredible, and the urbanization is quiet and charming. From the terrace you can see the University of Comillas or Oyambre beach. You are next to the sequoias park and the A8 so you can move to other areas. The place is decorated simple, very comfortable and pleasant. Very well equipped. It's a place to repeat!
