We loved staying in Natasha and Kev's gitte. It was in a really beautiful part of the country; nestled in a valley and beside a rushing brook. The gitte retained all the beauty and history of the house and its structure; there was no fuss but spotless, and had all the mod cons you need and the basic cooking material (olive oil, salt, pepper) and coffee n tea bags and a coffee-bean grinding coffee machine. Bring your own kitchen towel if you need that. Beds are gorgeous and the gitte is warmed up to a perfect temperature. THere is a BBQ set and outside firepan, and generous supply of wood. We came at end of Feb but in the summer - this would be a magical place with the brook to swim and a chance to sleep outside. I am not sure what happens when it snows for access but Natasha n Kev live beside the gitte, so I am sure will clear a path for access. Both of them were super and when the wifi slowed down for some reason, Kev installed a back up new router! Thank you !!

Angel's stay at home was wonderful, a perfect place to enjoy nature. The atmosphere is ideal for resting as the only noise there is are the birds singing in the morning. Really recommended if you are looking for a place to disconnect.

i thank Sylvie first for her welcome and for her little welcome gift. This rental deserves all the superlatives. impeccable cleanliness, everything is available (cleaning and hygiene products, towels...... ) top bedding, tv in each room, books and games, beautiful location with views of the mountains , quiet place. We stayed at Brigitte’s in September 2024. After booking, Brigitte was really helpful in sending us information and answering questions that we had. We loved the place. Three of us staying meant we had a bedroom each. The character of the house was lovely. Brigitte met us at check in and departure which was really helpful. There was a good sized garage for cycle storage. The supermarket was a few minutes away by car; 15 mins on foot. We would love to stay again and I would happily recommend Brigitte’s house to friends.

We have been using Airbnbs since 2017 and this is by far the best Airbnb we have stayed at. The place is beautiful, modern, spotless, and breathtaking views. Bernata grange is so well made and well thought. I would give Regine the best host award 20/10. She welcomed us with fresh beautiful flowers, homemade jam, butter and freshly grinded coffee. Each morning, she would leave freshly baked bread. My family enjoyed this stay so much. It was a blessing. Peaceful area. Only 15 mins from the airport and 15 mins away from Lourdes. What a perfect stay!!! Thank you Regine for your great service, communication, well thought place and attentiveness.

The stay during these days was perfect. Nina is always attentive and has lots of tips for things to do and places to visit. The house is spectacular. María José and her family are hospitable, friendly and everything we look for when we go to a rural house. They showed us the cows and sheep, and our son was able to touch a lamb. It's been two days that we will repeat FOR SURE. Very grateful for everything!

We had a great week at this house surrounded by the mountains. The view is absolutely beautiful and the location, surrounded by nature, is ideal for relaxing. The stars at night were breathtakingly beautiful! The decor gives an authentic charm to the house, it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed being able to disconnect from our screens and take full advantage of tranquility and nature. A perfect stay that we would recommend without hesitation! We'll be happy to go back 😊

Great accommodation with magnificent views of the mountains and cows. Quiet and soothing Esma is adorable. Great weekend, plus we were treated to a very nice order THE SUN Excellent.

From passing to motorcycles,a pretty little village perched on a hill with a magnificent view,where everyone is welcoming . Everything is perfect in the house,a little tricky to park motorcycles (5) but hey the locals were very understanding ,and everything went well. a nice little bar,and restaurant in the church square where we were able to eat ,even breakfast in the morning,really super nice ,or it speaks Spanish , Italian English,French. Very happy with our getaway .

We had a perfect week at Kerry's place. The place was really great! Everything was very clean, we did not miss anything. Kerry is super nice, the view from the accommodation is breathtaking, change of scenery assured and quiet guaranteed! Bagnères-de-Bigorre is 10 min by car for all amenities and restaurants! If we return on vacation in the area, we will return to Kerry's without hesitation.
