Beachfront vacation rentals in Aci Castello

We spent a very pleasant week in Andrea's house, which has a magnificent view of Etna and the port of Pozzillo. The village has remained very authentic and allows you to rest after visits to more touristy towns. Swimming from the rocks is very pleasant and you can observe the fish with a mask and snorkel. The terrace allows you to observe the back and forth of small fishing boats. You can buy fresh fish every morning in a little shed where fishermen sell their catches. A small bar/ restaurant just opened in the village (Il Gatto Pescatore) and offers croissants, ice cream, granite, cocktails, delicious aperitif trays and pinse (light pizza), just steps away from the port. A very pleasant experience!

We came to spend two nights with my spouse at Katerina and Andrea's and the welcome was great, very nice hosts and good tips. We met several times and they always had a kind word and recommendations. Very well located apartment and superb view from the terrace. We recommend!

A very convenient place as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other side there was the sea. And the rooftop terrace. You 👌🏻🤩 could really feel the Italian atmosphere. 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

The appartment is located perfectly for staying at the beautiful beach and also to get up to the center of Taormine within minutes. We even got a lot of free drinks on our fridge, including local and tasty wine from Sicily. We felt very comfortable and safe in the appartment and surrounded area. In addition we got great recommendations for restaurants (very delicious), trips and other things to do. Many thanks to Rocco and Massimo, our stay was amazing! The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground garage is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car beforehand at the apartment if it does not have high tires. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rushing at night and can sleep with the window open without hesitation. You can also get to the beach directly from the apartment via a small staircase. The place was one of the cleanest I've ever experienced. The unfortunately often neglected mocha pot for making coffee was really clean. You can easily reach all public transport as well as small bakeries and shops on foot. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

Concetta was very engaged since we made the reservation. she helped us plan our visit to Naxos and Taormino. She was very accommodating with our travel timing. Her recommendations for boat rental, local travel, restaurants,... were all spot on we enjoyed all of them. She even stopped by to touch base, help us with our stay, and the travels. Her place is very conveniently located to all the activities,stores and public transport.

Diego was the best host ever! He welcomed us personally and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. He’s also an experienced tour operator and gave us fantastic tips on what to do, where to eat, and more. He even helped us organize an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just steps away from the sea. We use Airbnb regularly, and Diego is definitely the best hosts we’ve had!

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

Everything was as expected, except for the photos of the pool that were not up to date. Being the current pool much better than the one published

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you will need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Highly recommend!

Our family (2 adults/2 children) enjoyed a wonderful stay here in April. It is a well-equipped and good sized property with everything we needed. It is well located on the coastal road: a few minutes drive (or 20 minutes steep walk) to Taormina and also from the beaches/Isola Bella. Communication with the host was good and the building manager was very helpful with our arrival.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

The place is a home with every single small detail making you feel amazed and at home! Great place to stay, which enhances further the local experience.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Cozy apartment, very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Good recommendations from Salvatore who was also very responsive and flexible. We could drop luggage off early before the apartment was ready which was super convenient.

great ocean front location. Alessandro was gracious to give us plenty coffee and snacks for the stay, since we hit a major storm . quick access to Taormina, Etna and if you want, Catania. a leisurely walk down to the harbor brings you to a Cafe.

Very nice, small apartment with a dream view from the balcony over the small harbor. Modern, very tastefully decorated and well equipped (dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) Nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You are in a village environment and yet not too far from the center of Catania. However, it is not so easy to get there by bus, because the one line 534 to the city center only runs very rarely. However, there is a train station "Picanello" 7 minutes' walk away, where a train runs to the central station (and usually further to the airport) about every half hour. If Mario had told me that beforehand, I could have saved myself the 50 euros for the taxi... But that's the only thing I have to complain about at this place!

Francesca was very polite and friendly throughout, and did a great job setting up the apartment. The view is exceptional - especially if you’re lucky enough to catch mount etna spewing lava at 5am as the sun rises - which we did! The flat has everything you need, including a great TV setup, kitchen and utility. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone, especially with a baby.

Amazing property, very clean and spacious with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Angelo and Maria are great, super friendly hosts, they helped me a lot with advice and directions. I fell in love with this beautiful village - so peaceful and attractive! I highly recommend this property as your holiday accommodation- I would love to come back in future! ♥️
