We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

The apartment has everything one can need for a few days. The view is wonderful, right around the corner is a very nice restaurant. The communication with Giulia was very friendly and always helpful.

Great apartment. Breakfast on the huge sun terrace overlooking the sea. From the roof terrace above the apartment, an even better view of the Cyclops rocks! Very pleasant welcome and farewell by the two caretakers Jano and Giuseppe! Large bedroom with a fully glazed corner with a great view. TVs with many German programs and even some German books. Plenty of information material from the entire area. A really pleasant and impressive stay!!! Thanks to both of the "caregivers"!

Thanks to Rosario for her hospitality, kindness and responsiveness! We booked at the last minute, he quickly accepted and contacted us to agree on the check-in time. The apartment is located in a peaceful residence, a 10-minute walk from the seaside and in the center of the small town of Cannizzarro. Ideally located town, close to Catania (< 20 mins from the center by car or bus, 10 mins by train) and the main road that goes up to Messina or down to Syracuse. Etna is also close (South station 1900 m to < 1 hr). A decisive criterion for us: the apartment has a private parking space for the rental car! Several shops nearby (pharmacy, local grocery store, post office, local bars, a few restaurants). Modern and very well-equipped apartment, the small outdoor garden is very nice. Grazie Mille!

We had a wonderful stay at Caro’s house and felt comfortable right away. Everything was very clean, and we slept really well—the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern, which we appreciated. The highlight for us was definitely the garden. We spent most of our time there, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Being right by the water was another big plus. Caro was always available and very helpful whenever we had questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend it! 😊

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. This property is quite special. The location is ideal for exploring the entire city on foot - there are two charming piazzas 10 steps in either direction, and the Piazza del Duomo is just around the corner. The host, Laura is responsive, helpful and so kind. Her local recommendations for restaurants, activities and taxi were spot-on. The star of the show is the apartment, the design and furnishings are impeccable, the high ceilings add elegance and it lives quite comfortably. Plenty of soft linens and we slept well in the beds. It is great to have an elevator in a historic building for hauling luggage, but we mostly used the stairs because the apartment is just on the second floor. Many thanks for making our first visit to Sicily so lovely, we can't wait to return!

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for exploring Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this does not affect the positive assessment of the apartment and the host in any way, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Antonio personally welcomed us and explained everything in detail. He is very friendly. He was always available for questions and immediately helped. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. This is exceptional: very spacious with large terrace. The furnishings are of very high quality. The location is very central. Parking is possible directly at the house. We can definitely recommend the place.

Very nice, small apartment with a dream view from the balcony over the small harbor. Modern, very tastefully decorated and well equipped (dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) Nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You are in a village environment and yet not too far from the center of Catania. However, it is not so easy to get there by bus, because the one line 534 to the city center only runs very rarely. However, there is a train station "Picanello" 7 minutes' walk away, where a train runs to the central station (and usually further to the airport) about every half hour. If Mario had told me that beforehand, I could have saved myself the 50 euros for the taxi... But that's the only thing I have to complain about at this place!

Sebastiano is a friendly and helpful host. His place is spacious and well equipped including laundry facilities, an expresso maker and essential private parking. The location is fabulous with great views, outdoor space and proximity to a variety of very good restaurants, and pastry shops along the waterfront.

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

The apartment was spotless and very central. Within walking distance of all the main tourist areas in Catania and the cathedral is literally 1 minute away. Some lovely restaurants nearby too. The roof terrace is a very big, fantastic outdoor space. Only downside was the noise from the bars at night, but to be honest, this stopped about midnight and most nights we enjoyed visiting them anyway.

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Giuseppe Matteo’s Airbnb in Catania. Check-in was smooth, and he was very responsive throughout. The room is really really cozy, with great design and an amazing view - especially at sunrise! The location is perfect: right next to the famous market and evening restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet. We even had the pleasure of meeting Giuseppe at check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice spacious apartment in a very central place. Everything is on your doorstep. The hosts are fantastic are really responsive with any requests and went out of their way to help when one of our group needed to see a doctor.
