We were two Canadian couples staying for 5 nights (after visiting Milano/Genova), with a car that we rented at Catania airport. We arrivred at 9PM but our host Nando was communicating us and received us in person. Upon arrival, fridge had some complimentary sandwiches, juice drinks and snacks, and a delicious homemade cake. Lovely place, peaceful, spacious, additional to detail, comes as advertised. Beautiful 180 degree view, when sitting outside by the pool, and even from main salon/kitchen. Loved the bedrooms and in particular the high quality mattresses and sheets. Made good use of the washing machine as we had a lot of laundry from our first week in Italy. Nando was very thoughful and proactive in checking in on us and suggesting places to visit and eat at. Good location, about a 10-15 minute drive to Taormina parking and a short drive to get on highway to visit Mount Etna or Syracuse/Ortigia. We had a wonderful stay in Sicily, thank you Nando!

Antonio is super friendly, approachable and helpful, all in all a super host. The location is unbeatable and very walkable. Very convenient to park your car on the property. The view to Etna is spectacular and we were lucky enough to witness an eruption. Would recommend the apartment to anyone who wants a very central and nice location

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ambra. As others have mentioned in previous reviews, the place looks better than in the pictures. It was clean and had a very nice outdoor area with a pool, sunbeds, dining area, grill and table tennis. We had to check in very late, but that was no problem which was very nice. We would also like to recommend the taxi driver Carmelo and his son Luca, recommended by the host of the villa (his card is in the villa). Carmelo was like our private guide every time we needed to go somewhere and told us a lot about the history of Naxos, Taormina and Castelmola. On the final day he took us to Siracusa for a day trip, which we highly recommend!

Just book it - you won’t be disappointed! Marta’s place is truly paradise. The view is not to be believed. We cooked several meals the kitchen is well equipped. The bedding is super comfortable. Be ready for stairs - but ALL of Taormina is stairs, so to be expected. Just wonderful!

Stayed here in this quaint little seaside village off the beaten track only for 3 nights and wish we had more time. I don’t quite get what that negative review was about because this house split between 2 floors was so perfectly styled & furnished with everything you need. Definitely not your typical Sicilian holiday home. So much space in both apartments with an incredible rooftop overlooking MtEtna - & weren’t we lucky this time to see it alive. Amazing pool with lushes green gardens. Kids loved it! Great local restaurants & bars right along the water. It was about a 30min drive to Taormina but I tell you we all much preferred hanging out in this village going for an evening walk along the sea. Great experience. Real Sicily. Recommend. Thanks Michael & your team!

what can I say? Hosts are always kind and available for our requests. I also feel strongly about recommending the house to people who have a semi-ambulatory senior, few stairs and little street x the beach and if you do not want to go down you can enjoy the sea view even from home. I add that with the French door closed at night, you can't feel the night movement at all.

We immediately felt good in the "pretty house of Vera" where we had the chance to spend 4 nights with our 2 children. The apartment is located on a quiet street where you can park easily and for free. The accommodation is really nice and comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated, we didn't want for anything, with nice surprises on arrival. There are restaurants and grocery stores that have bread delivery right next door and the accommodation is conveniently located for traveling throughout the area (Etna, Tahormina, Syracuse, Catania,...). Venera is really a great host, ultra responsive and very warm. She came to welcome us on site despite our late arrival time and she took the time to give us plenty of good advice and good places to visit. A great stay, highly recommended!
