Beachfront vacation rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

My family and I stayed at Andrea’s house for four nights. This is one of those hidden gems that makes you truly happy when you find it. Located in a beautiful, quiet little fishing village, the house sits right by the stunning, clear sea. The peace, the view, waking up every morning with a cappuccino at the local coffee spot, the lady from the supermarket, the wedding couples getting photographed at the harbor every day, the evening beer at the same coffee place, the fish market where you can get fresh fish daily — it’s all pure joy. I’d love to come back for a week of doing absolutely nothing and just enjoying it all. The house is a lovely and cozy place. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen could use a little extra love (cleaning), but that is easily outweighed by the authentic and pure feeling you get in beautiful Pozzillo. Thank you, Andrea, for your hospitality!

It was a week of complete rest. The view facing the sea and the comfort of the apartment was wonderful. It has everything we need, except for spices and cleaning supplies. There is a grocery store with everything 1 minute away and Koshila is very kind and willing to help. I loved it, very nicely decorated 👌🏻

A very convenient place as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other side there was the sea. And the rooftop terrace. You 👌🏻🤩 could really feel the Italian atmosphere. 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

The best place to stay in Catania, literally by the seaside so many good breakfast places and there were not too many people. Percect for people who like to sunbathe go for a walk and prefer open spaces. Airbnb was clean and with so many accessories like spices, olive oil, some snacks, water and many more! Everything was just the way i expected it to be❤️ Thank you Dario and Gisella one more time! Definitely will consider this apartment when i will be coming back to Catania.

Emanuela is a great host! The apartment is a gem in a beautiful village. The early morning sunrise from the balcony facing the sea is stunning! I feel at home the moment we stepped in to the apartment. Highly recommended!

Accommodation in an attractive, quiet location. Secure parking. Tastefully furnished, super clean apartment with everything you need. Nice surprise in the form of refreshments after a challenging journey to welcome you. Excellent communication with Giampiero.

Diego was the best host ever! He welcomed us personally and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. He’s also an experienced tour operator and gave us fantastic tips on what to do, where to eat, and more. He even helped us organize an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just steps away from the sea. We use Airbnb regularly, and Diego is definitely the best hosts we’ve had!

Sam helped us with beach and restaurant recommendations, the place smelled so clean when we came in. He told us where we can go swimming (10min walk). Everything is described in airbnb, its good value for money. All in all, great stay tbh

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

A place with a view. Outstanding view over the ocean, rent the apartment for that! The area is wild , with rocks into the ocean. Lovely place to bath, but it takes a little strength to come the ocean and some stairs to walk. Out of the season is there not many other people.

Everything was as expected, except for the photos of the pool that were not up to date. Being the current pool much better than the one published

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you will need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Highly recommend!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

We had a great stay in Giuditta's pearl of a house.

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, with problems, and with the transfer of our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, as it feels almost directly on the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

I had a wonderful holiday at Salvatore’s place – the location is truly beautiful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The scenery is stunning, and the surrounding area offers a delightful experience with lovely restaurants and local services. The atmosphere is warm, and the welcome was genuinely heartfelt; I felt at home right away. Salvatore is a thoughtful and kind host who does his best to ensure guests feel comfortable. I also received help with some practical arrangements that we had agreed on in advance. I’ll carry fond memories of the unique charm and warmth of this place. A lovely home in a peaceful area close to a large sandy beach. A car is essential as there are no shops, bars or restaurants nearby. The house was immaculate and Saro was very helpful and quick to respond to our queries. A great place to stay if you want to switch off and relax.

I went to Catania, after 50 years, to visit my cousin and her family, and to introduce her to my son and his French girlfriend. A little Sicilian spirit, as an antidote to the prevailing narcissism, is absolutely necessary. And we started with the check-in of Mrs. Iole Amelia, a deep warmth. The accommodation is very comfortable, spacious, and bright. You can tell that the host wants guests to feel at home. A Mirò print allows for an immediate measurement, The bathroom has an imperial shower. The washing machine also shares this vision, and does not risk waking guests with night squeaks. People with disabilities can only feel good if they can take a few steps. I slept on the sofa bed in the living room, leaving the bedroom to the two lovers, in respect of the poem "I ragazzi che si amano" by Jacques Prévert, to everyone's great satisfaction.

I stayed at the apartment for quite some time (~a month) and can confirm it is a lovely space to stay in! True to the listing - you have (almost) everything you need, and the hosts live right downstairs if you do end up needing anything. The view from both balconies is beautiful, with areas with both shade and sun and plenty of seating. The immediate surroundings are fairly quiet, although I admit I stayed there before the high season. There's a limited amount of shops/restaurants in quick walking distance - there is much more on offer in the city. Anything in the center of Giarre/Riposto is at least a 25/30 min walk away, but most of that is along the lovely seaside! I don't drive myself, but it seems it is a much easier way to get around both the town/the island. The train station is pretty well connected though - about 20 minutes to either Catania or Taormina. All in all, I am happy to have been hosted by Orazio & Giusy - very kind and helpful hosts to go with a very nice apartment
