Vacation home rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

We were two Canadian couples staying for 5 nights (after visiting Milano/Genova), with a car that we rented at Catania airport. We arrivred at 9PM but our host Nando was communicating us and received us in person. Upon arrival, fridge had some complimentary sandwiches, juice drinks and snacks, and a delicious homemade cake. Lovely place, peaceful, spacious, additional to detail, comes as advertised. Beautiful 180 degree view, when sitting outside by the pool, and even from main salon/kitchen. Loved the bedrooms and in particular the high quality mattresses and sheets. Made good use of the washing machine as we had a lot of laundry from our first week in Italy. Nando was very thoughful and proactive in checking in on us and suggesting places to visit and eat at. Good location, about a 10-15 minute drive to Taormina parking and a short drive to get on highway to visit Mount Etna or Syracuse/Ortigia. We had a wonderful stay in Sicily, thank you Nando!

Exceptionally beautiful property. The complex is beautifully laid out in terraces. The pool and ambiance are a dream. The small apartment is ideal for a family with 2 children. (from 6 years). The property is about 500 m above sea level so it is always a little cooler than right down by the sea. Getting there by rental car is a little adventurous :-). You will be very nicely picked up in Presa on arrival so you can find your way. A sports car should not be the rental car. The path to the property is narrow and the mountain roads are not always the newest. This apartment is well suited for excursions on the east coast. Catania 45 min., Taormina 30 min., Syracuse 2 hour drive. We enjoyed it very much and would come back. Thanks

Roberta's father welcomed us warmly and did not leave language barriers to hindrance to the chat. Trecastagni is a charming place and the apartment is extremely well located. The photos in the listing do not capture how nice the view from the roof terrace actually is. From it we got many idyllic breakfasts and VIP places to a volcanic eruption. We regret that we went from there.

Very convenient location, close to the station and the city center. The street is a little noisy at night but if you are particularly sensitive I recommend earplugs as I did and you sleep very well! It's a beautiful neighborhood full of life. Serena was very helpful with advice and tips. Thanks again!

I normally don’t write reviews, but our experience was amazing. Paola had top notch communication and recommendations! She even let us check in early after a very rough travel day. We visited Mr Etna/wine tour and had a blast. Even finished the trip with playing some futbol in the plaza out front of the Airbnb with some locals! Definitely recommend staying here.

Charming place to live in the area, near Syracuse, Taormina and other beautiful places to visit. Giovanni's welcome also has something to do with it. It feels like you're in authentic Sicily. The very pleasant terrace is perfect for sipping a good Etna wine after a sporting day. Impeccable cleanliness and furnishings. I recommend it!

beautifyl place up on the slopes of the etna, vieuw of the whole Island. nice garden with fresh fruits and a copy house with everything tou need. the owners were very flexible and helpfunctie with everithing and had great recommendarions about the Area. thnx for having us !

Matilde, Maria and Francesco were very friendly and willing to help. Despite not matching her in person, Matilde was always available and willing to help, providing recommendations of places and worrying that our stay in the city was as pleasant as possible. The instructions to enter the apartment were clear and this one was clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

When you opened the doors you looked out on the sea! It was a really nice place in a beautiful location. If you are wanting to visit Catania and Taormina this a great place between each of those cities. . It was also close to Mt. Etna. The host was also very helpful and responded right away to any need or request that we had.

Francesco is an available, attentive, caring person towards us guests from the first day to the last. Comfortable house, very comfortable, equipped with everything and more. Breakfast was not included, but he made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Great also Mrs. Liliana who dispensed useful advice on the area and the clubs in the area.

For our first trip to southern Sicily, my husband and our 6 and 8 year old children chose this lovely place because it seemed to meet all our needs, and once we reached it, it proved to be beyond our expectations. The house is surrounded by an olive grove, private pool and always clean, equipped with a soccer/tennis field where we could have fun all together. The house is very large, equipped with everything, nothing is missing! The outdoor space is very large, comfortable and well maintained. Tina and her husband were immediately very welcoming, helpful and hospitable. The oil they produce is truly exceptional. Highly recommended.

The apartment is very spacious, extremely clean, with attention to detail and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is spacious with an exceptional shower, the living room/kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom is very bright. Complete a small garden with a relaxing and rocking area with a sea view. Sebastiano and his brother were more than hospitable, allowing us to check in late in the evening despite the very poor notice and welcoming us with a very nice bottle of wine and sweets in the area; always ready to provide useful advice and all the support requested. The accommodation is located in a very quiet area a few steps from the pretty seafront of Aci Trezza, in a strategic position to visit renowned towns: Etna, Taormina, Alcantara gorges less than an hour away

A great space and an even more amazing host - probably the nicest I've ever met on Airbnb. The welcome was especially great - with wine and Sicilian ice cream and pastry specialties, but we found the two water bottles in the fridge to be particularly attentive, because after a long journey this gesture is particularly accommodating. Then I got a list of restaurant recommendations. The hostess was otherwise very easily accessible and also immediately on the spot if anything was (for example, we had locked ourselves out once;) ). We felt very comfortable at the property. Although you share the pool area (the other rooms in the house), everyone had their own private area - so you hardly noticed. It was very quiet and idyllic, although it is on the main road - like a small hidden oasis. It was all very nice and we were able to relax very well here. Definitely highly recommended.

The house is in a quiet turn of Trecastagni not far from the coastal attractions of Taormina, Catania and Syracuse. Situated on a hilltop overlooking the sea the views are amazing. The house itself is lovely as can be seen in the photos with generous living areas and ample outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the views and bask in the sun. We wished we could stay a little longer! Ivano and Laura are kind and considerate hosts. Very easy to communicate with, and their recommendations on restaurants, tips on local attractions were spot on, we felt very well looked after.

All went well in our visit. The host is very friendly and approachable the location is central and th place is as discriped.

Excellent accommodation! Everything was clean and well maintained, easy to communicate with Fabio. Despite the slow Wi-Fi that was giving headaches when we were watching a movie, it was brilliant place to stay with big parking lot!

The house was incredibly clean and the host was very responsive. Dario was helpful at every stage and was an incredible host. The place was in the perfect location by the water with many great restaurants right outside. Would highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Ramona’s place. It’s newly done and all the furniture and fittings were high quality. The coded front door lock was really helpful as well. Location wise, the apartment was in a great spot, walking distance to everything Catania has to offer!

Francesco is a great host and very attentive to guests. The house is very well taken care of, with all the amenities, with a fantastic view of Etna and a heated pool. We absolutely loved our stay at Alfie and Monica’s place. The gardens and pool made it a welcoming place and the apartments were very nice, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for our daily trips to Taormina, Etna, and the many wineries. Monica gave us excellent restaurant recommendations of nearby and Sicilian cuisine, including one just up the street that we loved and are at several times. Monica and Alfie were exceptional host and have an exceptional property that I will recommend to family and friends.
