Great place for short weekend break with friends, Communication from the host was great.

Fantastic hosts , really helpful and responsive . Lots of information about the local area and things to do. House was very clean and comfortable, with everything you needed , beds and beddings was really cosy and we slept so well , we didn’t actually want to leave and stayed longer than originally booked. The views and local walks were beautiful too . The local pub was nice although we only had a drink there. Kitchen facilities were so good we cooked most the time. Highly recommend

Our stay at this Airbnb was wonderful! The house was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others!

A little piece of heaven. Just perfect for a few days of R&R. Although, the amount of walking we did there wasn’t much rest. The views from the balcony are something else, we somehow managed to lose 3 hrs sat there on our first afternoon. The location is perfect for getting on to the A40 and to further afield. We did not take advantage of the pool or saunas (which, now home feels like it was a wasted opportunity). The pool area is beautiful, and can see in the depths of summer being a real treat. From the booking Ruth was so helpful in giving us recommendations for where to visit and eat. Take the advice when it comes to The Angel Bakery in Abergavenny! It is out of this world. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the pavilion and hope to visit again.

We loved our time at the little dairy! We instantly felt right at home, with the beautiful, calming furnishings. Nicole was an incredible host, helping us with anything we needed. The surrounding village was full of beautiful walks, lots of stunning nature. We also enjoyed seeing Nicole’s horses! We both highly highly recommend staying at the Little dairy and we both love to come back in the future!

This was our second stay (of hopefully many!) at the magical Long Barn and it was even better than we’d remembered! It’s full of charm and personality everywhere you look. The open kitchen/living area is perfect for spending time together and feels so homely. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. Shower water pressure is top notch! The instructions for appliances and recycling were very clear and helpful and Simon is a very responsive host. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside and it was a privilege to be able to call this place ‘home’ for a few days. Diolch yn fawr for another fantastic stay!

Absolutely loved our stay, such a beautiful peaceful place. Jamie is a super friendly person, and made us feel so welcome. So much wildlife as well, from a kingfisher to the regular grey wagtails and stunning setting, the vineyards and walk around the house was lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

James is a fantastic host. The Coach House is beautiful. Attention to detail and the interior decor is stunning and of high quality. Beds very comfortable. Hot tub was a gorgeous way to spend the evenings and the loggia provide shelter from the very high tempretues we had. Everything was impeccable and we'd love to return. Local eateries and towns are fab and the setting for the home is peaceful and very picturesque.Thank you to you both and your mum

Enjoyed a couple of days here and as soon as we walked in we were impressed with the cleanliness and decor. Lovely to see the sea from the window. Sarah gave great instructions on how to find the place, how to check in, check out and is really friendly and helpful.

Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

This place really is an idyll! I was there with family for four nights and we had so much fun with the croquet, tennis, swimming, and the barbecue. The house is even bigger than it comes across from the description! There are several sitting rooms and lots of bathrooms. It felt very luxurious to have pool towels as well as those provided in the bathrooms. The garden is also beautiful, and we were surrounded by birdsong and swooping swallows. We had a wonderful time.

Really charming space - honestly it could do with a touch of modernisation but actually once you are settled it is really really lovely. It is really quiet and the views out of the window are just glorious. The linen is immaculate and I slept so well. Excellent host and communicator. Would go back for sure.

Stayed here as a group of 4 friends to celebrate special birthdays. The cabin was spotless and has everything you need. We forgot to take sugar and Louise brought some right round when we asked if she had any. The shared games room, pool (each property has their own time slots) and tennis courts were fun to have and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Private hot tub to top it off. We love playing games. We brought our own but the cabin had a really good selection. Sequence was our favourite!! Checkout wasn’t as clear as check in and we weren’t sure what to do with the key but overall we had a 10/10 time and would definitely recommend. Thank you for having us. 🙂

Beautiful property. The house is huge—we joked that we probably wouldn’t use all of the rooms—but we did. The whole experience felt luxurious—seriously, a pool? We had trouble with the sauna—better directions would be helpful—but the issue was addressed speedily. And I don’t know why people complain about the lumber yard; we noticed nothing. Hats off to Phoebe and Jan!

Amazing value for money. We stayed in Oak cottage and it was very spacious and had the most beautiful views! The pool and hot tub were such a brilliant addition. Danielle was a brilliant host and very responsive. We will definitely be back again, thank you so much!

What a beautiful place to stay. We weee so lucky there was a last minute opening to book as it is usually booked up (we heated from Sally the host). Stunningly decorated, well equipped, incredibly peaceful and stunning surroundings. An incredibly helpful host. The swimming pool was an added luxury. Definitely returning for more getaways here.

Our stay here was beautiful!! The area is so pretty and peaceful. Lots of walks and trails and the town is not too far away. The town is also lovely with lots of great shops and cafes to mooch around. The lodge itself was welcoming, bright and smelt lovely upon arrival! Very clean and spacious. Beth was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations on the local area as well as making sure we had everything we needed.

Tracy was always very responsive and helpful with all questions that were asked, and the information provided pre checkin and during the stay was detailed and informative. The pictures don’t really do the place or the view justice to be honest. The location was stunning, and the property was spacious and well presented. Everything was clean and well organised. All in all, a very good trip away!

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb places over the years and Oak Farm is up there with the best. We had a fantastic week with Alicia & Chris being excellent and friendly hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and they were very generous with their time and the extras they provided. The location is superb with outstanding views across the hills, we spent many happy hours sitting in the Sun loungers reading. It’s also a great location for exploring the wonderful hills around Abergavenny . Our dog loved it too with a secure area of woodland for him to play and explore we would love to return one day and will be recommending this place to our friends and family . A lovely place to stay up near the black mountains/Brecon beacons - a great peaceful base for a walking holiday. The kitchen was well equipped, we really enjoyed making use of the outside space, the bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was an added bonus. The blind in the bedroom could have been better at blocking out light for longer sleeps in the summer. The Airbnb really is up in the mountains and as someone who doesn't drive often, the very steep winding country roads took a bit of getting used to - we'd recommend always driving via Llangattock despite what Google Maps says, as the other route is more time on narrow country roads without passing spots. The advantage of the location is it's a 10min walk up the road and onto the path to some fantastic views, especially at sunset. Overall would recommend.

Fantastic peaceful no traffic lots of walks dogs loved it clean tidy bed nice .walk to pub was very good food did not want to come home very helpful and good walks.views to die for will be back soon

We had a fantastic stay! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us some great advice on local places to visit and eat—really helpful in making the most of our trip. The house itself was spacious, comfy, and perfect for our young family (plus our dog!). The garden was private and secure, which gave us real peace of mind with both our daughter and the dog able to play safely. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the house and garden made it an especially relaxing place to unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked, and having easy parking and clear directions made everything smooth from the start. All in all, it was an ideal place to stay, and we’d definitely love to come back! Highly recommended.
