Kid-friendly vacation rentals in 5th arrondissement

Christophe's hospitality exceeded my expectations. He was responsive, thoughtful and showed genuine care and attention to everything that he knew would make my stay pleasant. As a solo traveller, he made me feel like I was family without being intrusive. The accommodation was exactly as described, a self contained unit close enough not to feel too isolated and separated enough to maintain your own space. The neighbourhood felt safe and had everything (transit, restaurants, grocery store, laundromat) within a 5 minute walk. There is an added bonus, a quick 12 minute walk will take you by the Seine where you will be surrounded by locals walking, jogging and picniking. I highly recommend staying at Christophe if you are looking for an authentic and charming french experience.

We 100% recommend the place. We felt very comfortable. Louisa and her family are great hosts. The location was just perfect for us. Supermarket, restaurants and the train station were within walking distance. We will definitely be happy to come back.

The place is very cozy and clean. The host was very nice, there was no problem to leave the luggage earlier and check out later. We even got pastries! I highly recommend it ;)

We had a fantastic time in Paris. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. The courtyard is peaceful and private — a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the evening. The location is excellent, with two metro stations just a 5-minute walk away, and major sights like Notre Dame within a 30-minute walk. Gabriel, who checked us in, was wonderful — so friendly and helpful, with great tips and recommendations.

A lovely little home away from home, with obvious attention to detail. Instructions for entry were accurate, everything was fresh and easy to use, and the little extras like copious chargers, one-way windows on the first floor for privacy and daily delivered breakfast were most welcome. Above all, Francois is an absolutely terrific host. Not intrusive, but extremely responsive and helpful. Francois truly responds almost immediately and provides extremely helpful information about the unit and the area. This petite maison is situated in a small courtyard in close proximity to waste receptacles for the neighbors, but there were no unpleasant odors in the very tidy unit and the location allows for privacy in a city teeming with life.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Dale and Gilles apartment. Dale responded very quickly to our enquiries and was very proactive in recommending local restaurants and other attractions prior to our arrival. There’s two good bakeries close by and the Metro only minutes away. Roughly 30 minutes to Monmarte and 45 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. The apartment was as described with literally everything you need, including a table top ironing board, the apartment itself was spotless. I can’t recommend this apartment enough, thank you Dale and Gilles for making us so welcome.

What a place. A temple of mid century modern serenity. Loved the books, furniture, tropical plants, turntable..... The kitchen is spotless stainless steel surfaces: equipped with everything you would ever need. The bedroom is bathed in a to-die-for Parisian glow. And The garden: soulful. Dont miss the bi-weekly market around the corner.

It's so tempting to not give this place the review it deserves because I want it to be available for all my future visits to Paris, but Anne & Jean-Luc absolutely deserve all the accolades. This apartment is the quintessential Parisienne apartment you always imagined living it. Tucked away and quite but convenient to everything you want to see. Well appointed including decor imbued with family and building history but without feeling fragile or cluttered. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating. She offered luggage storage and provided her own family items to make sure my toddler felt at home. We truly felt at home, and my group regularly proclaimed it our favorite AirBNB we'd ever stayed at--we're already looking forward to future stays here. Thank you, Anne & Jean-Luc for the magical experience.

I went to Paris for the art, but was not expecting our flat to be a work of art too. Much thought clearly went into the design, construction and even the lighting. The bathroom especially is a masterpiece and fabulous for two people trying to get ready to hit the streets. Very close to the metro and on street level. The loft bed was great for us but could be a challenge for people with any serious mobility issues. We would definitely recommend and return.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to Paris. Excellent hosts, they respond quickly and are eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The extremely thoughtful design of this Airbnb makes it stand out among others we’ve booked. (Even a foot ledge within the shower to accommodate the ladies while shaving one’s legs!). Details matter, and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s obvious someone put much thought into the design of this unit, as well as the hosts who oversee it.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Paris! The location was perfect—close to public transportation, great restaurants, and many beautiful sights. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. They gave us great local tips and made sure we felt at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!

This apartment was fantastic! It is in a great location - a ten minute walk to the Notre Dame. There is a Carrefour Express only one block away. There are lots of restaurants and cafes just outside the front door. The apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. While Parisien apartments in general are small, this apartment has plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing in Paris. The host was very responsive and checked in with us to see there was anything we needed. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Paris.

Maria and Thibaud’s home is an excellent choice for a few days in Paris. It's conveniently located, the apartment is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped. This is one of those AirBnBs where I hesitate to write a glowing review only because I want to make sure it’s still available for us to rent again in the future 😉 This entire experience is what I wish all AirBnBs were. A home away from home that at once feels special and comfortable, lived-in yet clean and tidy, a place where you can imagine, for a short while, that you’re a Parisian local. The apartment was beautiful, quiet, and perfect for two adults and our 2-year-old. Philippe kindly provided a booster chair and a crib, but as she gets older, we plan to return and have her sleep in the twin bed. There were toys for her to enjoy, wine and a few groceries for us (thanks, Philippe!). We walked to the Jardin de Plants many times, frequented many cafés and delicious restaurants, shopped the Sunday markets - all in the neighborhood. We loved our surroundings and felt like locals. Wonderful apartment in one of the most romantic and beatiful squares in Paris. And very close to both buzzling Marais and the bohemian 11th. We would love to come back

Jeremie’s flat is a dream. This is one of the most romantic places we ever stayed in. It has an incredible parisian charm to it and breathtaking views. It is very cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend in Paris. We knew that we will have to climb 7 floors to get to the apartment but it kept us in good health and fitness after all the delicious food we had :) Jeremie is also very friendly and met us for a check in to show how everything works in the apartment. He was responsive and ready to answer any questions and give recommendations. If you are not afraid to walk up, then do not hesitate to book this place for a memorable stay in Paris and photographs that you would want to share with everyone afterwards.

This is the best Airbnb in Paris!! Kazumi was so warm and welcoming making sure we were all settled in. We loved sitting on the balcony every night to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle. Location was in a perfect spot, close to everything you'd want to go to via walking or metro. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

I had a wonderful stay at Vincent’s place. Small but efficient. Always had my breakfast at home. It was wonderful to have the balcony and the wonderful view of Paris and many landmarks as well. Getting to and from the apartment on foot or using metro was very easy. Vincent was very communicative and welcoming. A friend of his welcomed me on my arrival and showed me around the apartment. I was very comfortable and felt safe. I certainly would return to Vincent’s place when I return to Paris.😁❤️ I felt at home and relaxed. Thank you so much. Hope to see you again soon.

Iris & Stephane are very communicative and helpful hosts. The apartment is like walking onto a movie set - a real experience! It is more spacious than expected, with gorgeous views of the park and in a great location - walking distance to many bistros, wine bars, shops, etc. The kitchen is well appointed and Iris & Stephane provided some lovely flowers, fresh fruit and champagne on arrival. There is a beautiful claw foot tub and basin in the bedroom, which makes up for the small boat style shower/toilet. My husband and I had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Thank you Iris & Stephane!

Very happy with our stay! The location was great - walkable to everything in Montmartre including the Metro. It was close enough to the Main Street for easy accessibility but yet private and safe. Marie was a super responsive and friendly host! Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Montmartre. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured.

This apartment is the ideal place to stay while visiting Paris. The view of the Eiffel Tour from the living room is beyond incredible especially at night when the light show happens. All types of restaurants are in the area. There is even a grocery market for extra things you might want. It is also quite close to all of the sites that are on your list. Getting an Uber or Bolt was super easy and really quick. And then there is Nicolas. He gave so many recommendations for anything and everything that I would have had to stay a whole year to try them all. Many Thanks. And I almost forgot…the heated towel racks! I love heated towel racks and so will you. If you are planning a trip and want a real Parisian experience….this would be it.
