You can stay at a cat cafe for rescued cats. All spaces are rented out outside of cafe hours. The cat space is completely separated. Cats are not allowed in the cafe or accommodation space. You can interact with the cats in the cat courtyard. You can eat and drink while watching the cat courtyard from the cafe. You can see the night view of Nagano city from the cafe space. Dogs are also welcome. Please bring everything you need for your dog. However, pets are not allowed in the cat garden. You can come and go freely in the back space. Breakfast with cafe menu. The terrace will be removed in December as it is severely deteriorated. Cosplay photography and BBQ will no longer be available. Please understand. From the cafe, you can see the Zenko-ji Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is right in front. 1 hour by bus from Nagano Station. Take the bus bound for Hoshina Onsen. Get off at Kiyomizu-dera Daimon-mae bus stop and walk for 5 minutes. Please note that there are few buses. The road is steep and narrow near the inn. When coming by car, a 4WD vehicle or tire chains are required in winter. Amenities include additive-free and fragrance-free soap bars Late check-in is also possible.

Sakuranbo Kan is a private Japanese-style modern guest house in a renovated Taisho-era building that takes advantage of the retro atmosphere.

Sakura Ekan is a private guest house in Sakura Echo, a symbol of Shinshu, at the foot of Zenkoji Temple, a national treasure. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Zenkoji Temple. It is a modern Japanese-style building that has been renovated to take advantage of the retro atmosphere of the Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori, and beyond Zenkoji Temple, there is also Jojakyo Park, where Nagano citizens relax, the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, and the Higashiyama Kaii-kan, so why not take a leisurely stroll.  There are also many cafes, bakeries, Italian, French restaurants, and eateries near the facility, making it convenient to eat out. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. We have renovated it to be able to accommodate guests, while keeping the rural Kabuki stage as intact as possible. We hope you enjoy the hot springs, delicious food, and pleasant mountains in the town around Lake Suwa, which you can see from the window.

Nagano ex-Kimono house 5min to Zenkoji temple

The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 90years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
