My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Maria’s house. She answered all our questions and without Google Translate I don’t know how we might have gotten on. Nevertheless, we were exceptionally pleased with the extra effort. Maria took and making our accommodation a memorable event. Her home was spotless and we couldn’t have asked for more. A very quiet rest after a long road trip and we were most satisfied with everything she provided. Thanks again Maria we will remember our stay for a long time. Gerard

Amazing house, with a spectacular balcony and views of Alqueva and the sheep. The clear sky was missing for stargazing. I can highly recommend it!

Maria José was incredible, she received us impeccably even though we arrived 4 hours late and already after 00h. It left us regional bread and wine, presented all the house with all the detail, the backyard and everything else (even though +00h, remember) and always available for any doubts of ours, still left recommendations of various plans for the weekend nearby. Town hall left your contact telling us to contact us anytime and for any questions, very dear! During the stay the home was much more wonderful than it looked in the pictures, it was super warm when we arrived, the backyard is amazing, with the jacuzzi and the view of the sheep and starry sky! The kitchen was mega-equipped and still with various spices, olive oil, lemons and orange. It was undoubtedly a very good experience and to be repeated! For a family/friends retreat or amazing romantic! Thank you

This is one of the most unique and beautiful places I have stayed. The outdoor space includes a balcony, a patio, and a garden, all with spectacular views. The indoor space is a rambling stone house including dining room with a fireplace and arched ceiling and a bedroom with a cozy study down a half-flight of stairs. The kitchen has plenty of room and equipment for cooking meals, but there are also several very good restaurants close by. The host was wonderful about checking in to make sure things are OK. The only thing I would say is that we were there during an unusually cold spell and although the heater kept the bedroom cozy, the rest of the house was chilly. Not unexpected for an old stone house, and it didn’t bother us, we just built fires to take the chill off.
