As other guests have said, it's not easy to find a place to stay, but it's great to walk to Jinlin Lake, and you can see Jinlin Lake at different times if you arrive at the house earlier. The house is clean, the neighborhood is quiet, the small garden outside is lovely, the sun is beautiful, and the bathtub is comfortable There's a convenience store just a short walk away, not afraid of running out of food at night Just a reminder, the washer and dryer need to be cooled down before it can be turned on. I washed a family of four's clothes at about 4:00 in the morning, which may be a large amount, and the cooling time was longer than the 30 minutes the host reminded me, and it was much longer than 30 minutes, so if you want to wash your clothes before check-out, you need to take more time.😉

The tea set used by the owner also reveals the owner's attention to detail.Makeup remover for ladies is also prepared, there are surprises everywhere.The water in the hot spring room is very hot and the water quality is very good.Heating is with a gas heater, and the temperature rises quickly.Maybe it's because of the old house, there's only one bathroom, and although there are two separate toilets inside, it may not be very convenient if there are many people staying.Overall, it's already very good. The house has more amenities than expected. Everything you need is there. The hot spring is very good. Everyone in the family loves it. There are massage chairs to help you relax. The kitchen is fully equipped. Playing the piano with a view of the cherry blossoms is very good. There are also small games for us. Even though the house is a bit old, everything is okay. The owner pays attention to details very well. There are charging cables provided. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

Excellent accommodation with amazing onsen

Saito place is great for our family of 5 with 1 children. The place is walkable to the station and beppu park. Lots of places of attractions are within 10-15 minutes of drive. The place is very clean and we have good night sleep.

The location was good at an affordable price, and we had a very comfortable stay.

Michiko-san and Takeshi-san spared no effort in greeting us and handing over the use of the place, which was like a little apartment for our family of six spanning three generations. It was perfect, a really clean and sizeable place with every household convenience and more. What’s more is that it’s located near a brook and tucked away just off the main road. It’s charming to wake up to the sound of a trickling brook and the fresh mountain air! We received above-and-beyond hospitality in the form of fresh home made breakfast bread, probiotic drink and yoghurt from the hosts. When we ran into difficulties, they were prompt to respond, even coming to our place to guide us. Furthermore, Michiko-san advised us really well on our itinerary. It was specific to our family demographic as well. We really miss this place and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Beppu! This house is an attraction in itself :)

When I checked out, I left something valuable in the room. Realizing this, I was driving my way to the car dealership and I contacted Amane. She reassured me that I can still retrieve the item and not worry about it, and even offered me an extension for the night. The amount of hospitality that I was given, deserves a 5 star for sure.

Good location as it was very close to the station and had everything you need

Nice place to stay and feel homey. walkable to convenience store nearby. There's car parking slot available for our rental car. Hope to give instruction upfront upon check-in to foreigner like us to separate the garbage will be highly appreciate. In overall, happy stay in the unit!!! :)

This farmhouse is a very relaxing and beautiful place! We loved to just chill there in the evening and enjoy the tranquility of slow life.

We struggled to do the check-in. But was a mistake on our side as we didn’t read the instructions correctly. It was even possible to park our car right beside the building, which helped us so much. Nice accommodation, clean and tidy. The walls to the neighbours are a bit thin, but no loud noises going on
