Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Yufu

Everything was a smooth stay!I used it for 3 people, but it was just the right size, a large wood stove with plenty of wood, a large kitchen, a Japanese-style room on the first floor, and on YouTube on the TV, there was a large cherry blossom outside, and at night I could enjoy beautiful nature with the starry sky at night.There was also a supermarket about 6 minutes by car, which was convenient.It was a nice space to enjoy with two couples and a family, and there was a powerful stove in addition to the wood stove, so we had a warm and pleasant time in the winter.It was also a very good facility for hot spring trips and private special occasions!Thank you very much.

Very clean and comfortable! Spacious for two, and can probably accommodate four people quite easily. Washing machine has a dryer function which was good enough to dry small loads (socks, underwear). Location was however, not so easy to find as Google maps will not lead you directly to the location and you would have to drive carefully into a small side road to locate the house. I would recommend arriving in the daytime to ensure a smooth check in.

Wow! This was a fantastic stay! Thin-san was an incredible host. The house was perfectly prepared for our family, even down to the bed linens and pajamas for my three kids! The fridge and pantry was well stocked for us - oh my goodness, the strawberries were delightful and the eggs and bacon for breakfast was perfect. It was lovely to have to not think about getting groceries. Thin-san shared very clear and proactive directions and instructions about the property which was very helpful. Thin-san said upon booking that most people always wish they stayed longer, and I can totally see why - this place is a gem! Thank you for a WONDERFUL stay!!!! We can't wait to be back!

Great place for a family to stay, well-equipped and tidy.The changing room is equipped with a heater, which is very much appreciated for those traveling with children. The Host responded quickly and the whole experience was great.You can also see the beautiful starry sky of Aso.

We have had a wonderful time here. Keiko is indeed a great host who provided us with everything. She is an extremely thoughtful person and given to every details. Like other review, we can definitely stay longer as its so peaceful here. If you need some challenges, you can scale Mount Fukuchi.

Chikako and her husband were incredible hosts. Chikako made the most incredible meals and we learned that she's run a sushi restaurant, persimmon farm, and cafe before. We truly appreciated Chikako opening up to us about her life and what brought her to where she is today. She's done so much and is so talented! We appreciate her generosity, showing us places even! Her husband also had a bunch of photos/drawings of his catches posted around the dining room walls when he was a fisherman. The space itself was simple, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The mats/bedding were great -- we slept very well.

We had a lovely stay end of March 2025. This is by far my favorite BNB in the whole wide world! Everything was so well equipped, even has cleansing oil and sanity pads for forgetful humans like me. Owner has beautiful potteries, long list of amenities supply, video games, guitar, and a big table with heater and blanket in the living room. Towels and linens were super clean, the whole place was squeaky clean! Super comfortable to stay in. The beautifully decorated sake area was amazing! We will come back with more friends and family next time! Best of all, it is dog friendly!!! My dog Melly loved it here 🤎

The staff was really friendly and the service was great! The barbecue atmosphere was also really nice, but it was a shame that it was a little cold in winter. But the hot springs were absolutely the best! This is an accommodation I definitely want to bring back the next time my guests come.
