Vacation rentals with lake access in Yufu

The onsen house was awesome and offered a different experience than the usual ryokan in an onsen town. The place was spacious and had the amenities needed for an overnight stay as a family of four. One tip for those driving in is to try to arrive when there is daylight as the roads leading to the house were very narrow and difficult to manoeuvre, especially where it is one way only. The roads leading back to the main Street were wider but had many pedestrians, so driving in the area just takes a bit of patience…but all aside, the onsen in the house made it all worth it.

Thanks to the kindness of Haruna and Takashi, it was a memorable trip to Yuwuin. The accommodation is beautiful and the view is great, so my father who came with me was also very satisfied and returned. Thank you both! See you again!

I've stayed in Yufuin a few times, this location was the best. Very easy to walk to things, while still being far enough away from some of the louder locations in the evening. Being right off the main road is super easy for driving to other places nearby too, sometimes it's difficult to get around the town by car and this place had no issues with that. It was also very clean and new, only thing I wish it had was a washer/dryer combo that is becoming common at other listings. The private hot spring was a great size, it's on the weaker side, but I think that's a plus for most people.

We really enjoyed our stay and slept so well in the super comfy beds, just wish we had booked to stay longer.

We went to a few places to stay during our trip to Japan and this was our by far our favorite! Not only the accommodation but also the location is fantastic!

There is a hot spring to bubble comfortably, the kitchen common dining space is smaller, there is only a small table, the rest of the amenities are all provided, it was a great experience.

One of my best stays in Japan! I want to come back! The hosts are super adorable! He picked me up by car from the train station (This saved me a 25 minute walk) and he showed me everything about the house and explained the things to know. Every breakfast was only ¥500 for something excellent and varied, a large amount for me but I was able to take the onigiri with me to eat them during the day. It's a very clean airbnb that smells good and the heating doesn't make noise. Wonderful little garden right in front of the dining room. We can see that they take care of the house. Every morning, we could change our bath towels without paying. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of greenery (and a street with lots of Asian tourists (mostly Korean)). Attention, many restaurants close at 5pm, especially on the tourist street. Wishlist for coffee風の丘 カフェ, the owners are very nice and smiling.

The place was exactly as described. It was situated right next to the floral village and a short walking distance from Kinrin lake. For a family of 3, the bedroom areas were very spacious. We especially liked the hot spring bath.
