Cottage vacation rentals in York County

We enjoyed our stay. We had s’mores over fire out one night. Wood was supplied. Plenty of towels Having one bathroom was not as convenient for 5 people but we enjoyed our stay. Grandkids enjoyed park across street. I would recommend. House was clean. Enjoyed coffee bar.

Beautiful setting along the river. Charming decorations, which reminded visitors of the history of the building, a one room schoolhouse. The combo lock on the door did not work, but the issue was resolved immediately by the host. No other issues.

This was the most beautiful setting for Thanksgiving! The house was so cozy, and the property was unreal. We loved hiking, playing on the swing, watching the eagles, and fishing for Trout. Hot tub was a nice touch, too! Thanks so much for everything- we can’t recommend enough! 5 stars!

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

As always it was a wonderful stay at the Mod Pod, we always feel at home and love the peaceful quietness of the surroundings. The screened in porch was wonderful to sit and listen to the passing rainstorm, the outdoor shower is amazing to take during the summer heat. The all on one level home is perfect for our elderly dog who has some mobility issues, it’s easy for him to get around to go outside. We will be back as it is a perfect location for everything g we want to do in the area.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful, modern cottage. Host was very responsive to a missing item and even sent it right over!! Would add this cottage to my list of great places to stay in the greater Lancaster area.

A cozy in-law apartment in a detached former garage. In the country, but only 10 minutes or so from downtown Harrisburg, and easy access to the interstate. Hosts were very friendly and responsible, helping me right awaywhen I accidentally locked myself out. Very pet-friendly. A great stay.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The swinging bed on the enclosed porch was the perfect place to relax and listen to the chickens and birds and to just enjoy nature. If you like to cook, this is the kitchen for you. If we had any questions, we just texted Carol and she got back to us in less than 5 minutes. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back again when we're in the area.

Stacey was kind, responsive. and flexible and we really enjoyed our stay here. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun weekend. Everything was clean and the property is beautiful with plenty of space and activities onsite whether you’re there with family or friends. I would recommend this Airbnb and would definitely love to come back!!

Once we found out for sure that our youngest would be graduating from nearby Elizabethtown College I started researching lodging options for the 5 adults that would be attending his graduation. Stone Gable's Rockin Retro fit our needs. When we checked it, we were completely blown away at how absolutely perfect this place is. Not only is it decorated from floor to ceiling in "retro", it exceeds our expectations as far as being comfortable and absolutely pristine. Not one detail was skipped, every amenity you would need was available. The place was accurately described on Airbnb but it could not fully convey how much it would enjoyed by its guests. My only regret is not booking it for an extra night so we could enjoy the beautiful deck and backyard views! If we ever need to stay in Elizabethtown again, Stone Gables will be my first and only choice.

Phenomenal rental! Short and easy drive to Spooky Nook. Jody was an exceptional host before and during our trip. She reached out ahead of our visit to see if we needed any special accommodations, gave us a head’s up about a winter storm, and a link to a local news station when requested. When we arrived, Jody promptly met us to provide a brief introduction to the heating system, ensure our needs were met, and also gave us some helpful guidance to get into Spooky Nook and avoid typical traffic backups. When we arrived back at the cottage during the brief ice storm, we were so grateful to see that she had cleared the steps and pathway to the front door and put salt down to ensure our safety while there. The cottage itself was wonderful. We felt 110% safe at all times and the it was exceptionally and immaculately clean. Beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the small touches made this our favorite AirBnB experience to date. Highly, highly recommend!

The place was quaint with easy access to many locations. We enjoyed the ease to get to the Dutch Apple dinner Theater.

We booked this cottage as it was less than 5 minutes to family we were visiting. It's an amazing setting on the river, tons of light, very private, very quiet - it's hard to believe you're in Lancaster city. The house is quite tiny but feels spacious. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

The space is absolutely gorgeous and so family friendly. We felt so at home and felt so peaceful just being inside the home. All was clean, organized and just simply lovely. We will definitely be staying here again if available!!!

Marci was a wonderful host. The property was as described a true "Place of Peace". We LOVED our stay and felt right at home. The property had everything you could need to feel at home and was very comfortable, spotless, and clean. The property surrounding was absolutely beautiful with the beautiful flower trees in bloom and from each window we could enjoy a beautiful view. We can't wait to go back and enjoy again.
