Pet-friendly vacation rentals in York County

Suzi and Luci’s Place was absolutely beautiful. For a home that often takes pets, it was top tier clean. They were more than accommodating on check-in time since we were traveling from east end of Long Island, it was about a 4 1/2 hour drive. Beds were extremely comfortable and clean, they had the AC and some lights on for us when we got there as well which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay very short. Paid for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. Suzi and Luci were very understanding when we messaged late at night that we had to leave due to family emergency. The view of the falls was gorgeous. Be prepared for some noise from the road at night as it backs up straight to it, but the hostesses offer ear plugs which was super nice! The shower is a bit small so beware if you are a larger person. Overall a great stay, great communication, super clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and fully enjoy the home! This duplex is fantastic. We came here for our daughter’s wedding and the stay in this house was amazing. The house was very warm and inviting the moment we opened the door to came inside. The cleanliness of this house is remarkable. The instructions of the house were very well written out and in detail. I love the loft upstairs and there was more than enough room for everyone in the house. The kitchen is equipped with all pans and utensils needed to cook including plates and cups. This made it very convenient to have meals ready for the family. Everything was well explained about the house and the decorating is magnificent.

The house is cute and well appointed. The basement game room is wonderful (it’s why we booked this house). Nice washer and dryer, basically has everything you need! Karl answers messages promptly and/or calls to help or answer questions. The patio is a wonderful spot to enjoy the morning. My ONLY complaint is the surprise we got upon arrival to see a large auction house on the property. Auctions are every other Monday. We were gone the day of the auction, so we did not see how much traffic there was for the auction itself. There was a bit of light traffic to and from the auction house the week we were there for pickups. The auto shop next door wasn’t bad, either, as far as noise goes. I think it might be more typical up north for residential and commercial to be mixed like that-we were just not used to that. At the end of the day, it was fine. I just think full disclosure is best. I WOULD rent this house again.

Home was very comfortable and clean! I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and by far this was the cleanest home I have ever stayed in. It was delightful. Location was quiet, in a very nice neighborhood on the golf course. Would definitely recommend this home, especially if you are traveling with a pet.

really nice place in a great, walkable location. The property is cozy, in a good way. really easy access to downtown Lancaster. The space was very comfortable and just pleasant to stay in. Stairs are on the steep side, but not terrible. the kitchen and both bathrooms were great. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

Michael was a great host and excellent communicator. He was able to help us out when our trip was in jeopardy of falling apart. The space is huge and very unique. The location is amazing !

Brooks’ place proved to be perfect for a party of 11, including 4 boys aged 7-12. The interior was spotless and perfectly functional. The back yard (including the pool) was simply outstanding. Brooks himself was a terrific host whose messages were always helpful and considerate. Mechanicsburg itself is close to Gettysburg and some beautiful parks. No hesitation at all recommending this outstanding house and model host.

This place was so adorable and so clean! It was easy to put the code in and get inside. And have an off street parking spot was really great. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Bill and Tia (manager) did a great job explaining and being responsive. The house had a lot of different rooms and options. The pool wasn't open yet but was still worth the price and time.

Perfect stay! The home was beautiful with plenty of space. Location was private and perfect for our family. Looking forward to the next visit!

I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars! We rented two adjacent Historical houses that were beautifully curated, and very spacious. Our family of 9 moved easily between both locations which made our Christmas Vacation extra special. Having two gorgeous kitchens to prepare meals was a real bonus. Leigh was quick to respond, and very thoughtful! She sent us delicious cookies from a local bakery! We also asked in advance to bring Christmas trees- which she agreed to right away. One of our party forgot a bag and Leigh was quick to work out a solution with us! I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and I look forward to visiting her other property. Excellent! Many thanks for making such wonderful family memories possible.

The location was perfect for us. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house was near our relatives and quite near restaurants and walking paths. The view from the back was stunning, and a built-in pool made the scene awesome. The interior was quite large and very comfortable. We will definitely use this place again.

This is a beautiful older cabin in the woods. Wonderful for a peaceful stay with a larger group like us w/2 queen beds in every room & 3 bathrooms. Note: 1 full bath (walk in) is in the master bedroom, 1 full bath (tub-shower) in the hall right across a 2nd bedroom, and the 3rd 3/4 bath is in the basement / rec room by the washer-dryer area. The 3rd “bedroom” is an upper loft space w/2 queens - no door, open to the living & dining room. We loved the open living-dining space. It was perfect for casual dinners with family & friends. Thank you, Mariou!!! Mariou is a very responsive and super nice host! He showed up with a new dryer the day after we let him know it wasn’t working, and addressed a few other house cleaning concerns for us. Though there is A/C listed it didn’t cool the cabin enough in our opinion (cabin was always 73-76 degrees no matter what we set “cool” to & it felt a bit too warm for our comfort). Still, it’s a unique & beautiful cabin that works well for bigger groups!

Trust your GPS! This little slice of heaven is tucked away but the beauty surrounding you is worth the drive. Booked this as a family stay for a wedding at a nearby location and ended up using it as the staging ground for the wedding party to get their hair and makeup done. Made for great pictures!

This is my second stay at Elmer's place and it was a wonderful as the first. No issues checking in. The apartment is simply decorated, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. It was a plus to have my dog and my friend's dog stay with us. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Look forward to returning:)

Clean, cute, and updated house. Loved having the washer and dryer at the end of the trip. Liked that Clay had recommendations of places to eat and visit. His recommendation on Mr. G’s ice cream was spot on, I did not regret it! Only issue I had was with the vent in the bedroom with the Queen bed, did not allow for much cold air from the A/C, but thankfully the portable fan provided helped. If I ever come back to Gettysburg, I hope the house is available again.

Loved the stay so much , the house very clean , beautiful and comfortable ❤️ loved everything in the house , especially the stone bench like thing in the restroom , very thoughtful for senior parents , our kid engaged herself with the games there. I would definitely recommend this for a family stay.

Seven Saddles Farm was a beautiful place! The view was spectacular and watching the horses roam about in the pasture brought smiles and added beauty to the mountain view. Everything needed was available in this beautiful home and our hosts went above and beyond to ensure that we were not in need of anything. We enjoyed our stay there and everything was perfect! We are so happy to have experienced Emma and Will’s schoolhouse suite. It was incredibly peaceful, comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely come back if in the area again and recommend to anyone visiting Lancaster! Wonderful hosts and accommodations!
