SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The description of “belle vista” is accurate! The view of Mount Mitchell was beautiful from the big porch. The A frame was a unique house style that was fun to experience and the surroundings were super peaceful and quiet. Alicia was helpful with questions and swift to respond. A great spring break stay.

Mountain View, Fire Pit: Roomy Blue Ridge Home!

MonichaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved our stay here! Having a bathroom with every bedroom was great for our group. Tons of fridge space, large living area. It really is a perfect spot for a group! It is very quiet and pretty private. There is another house up the hill but it’s plenty far enough away that you can’t see or hear anyone there. Not much around, but we did have dinner at J Hartman’s about 20min away and we highly recommend it. We would definitely stay here again!

Whispering Pines - Spectacular Views & Hot Tub

DanaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home! We loved how much space the home had, plenty of room for all of our guests. The hot tub was very relaxing and so was sitting out on the front porch on the rocking chairs. We only had a quick 30 minute drive to downtown Asheville where we spent the day Saturday.

JaymeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin the woods! There was so much to do at the house that our boys never wanted to leave. The house was well stocked and we took advantage of the nearby playground, tennis courts, and fishing. The only bummer was that the ski resort had closed for the season and we didn't know that until which we drove to the mountain for our rentals. This has nothing to do with the hosts, but make sure to check in with Hatley Pointe to make sure they're open if you're traveling to Mars Hill for skiing!

Dan's place was the ideal retreat for us and the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the porch with our dog who loved every minute! The cabin's natural setting with a creek right there also inspired us to wake up early and start exploring.

Mountaintop Cabin - Stunning View! Great Wi-Fi

RoryRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Kemp's place was a fantastic getaway for a low-key bachelor weekend in the mountains. It looks even better in person - both house and surroundings - and has everything one could want out of a weekend house outside of Asheville. Kemp himself was incredibly proactive in terms of instructions on getting inside, what to do with garbage, etc., and he was wonderfully responsive when we had questions or needed clarification on anything. Overall, an ideal experience. I hope not to have to plan another bachelor party again, but if I do, I will recommend this house to a person I know just the same as I am right now to you, the viewing public. 10/10.
A serene cabin is nestled among tall trees on a gentle hillside. The surrounding greenery includes vibrant leaves and shrubs, creating a sense of privacy and tranquility. A deck is visible, inviting guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Yummy Mud Puddle with gorgeous view! Artist owned.

RachanyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was our second time staying at Claudia and John’s place. It was extremely private and peaceful. Our grown kids loved it too, because it was nostalgic and artistic. They have countless video cassette types, the kind we went to Blockbuster for. They also have a closet full of board games. We spent all of our nights playing Monopoly and admiring the ceramics and drawings around the house. It felt like home. It felt like it did when our children were little. Now they are grown and on their own. We just loved being together in that space.

Hobbit Henge: Unique Stay near Asheville

OliviaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Hobbit Henge is always a lovely get away right outside of town. This is my second time at the henge and I would absolutely come back a third time as well. Please keep in mind if you're not into detached spaces, this probably isn't for you. There is a separate bathroom and kitchen that you have to walk to. But honestly getting my feet wet on the way to make coffee from the morning dew is not a bad way to start a morning. The views are incredible and it is quite an experience. You're 15 minutes outside of Asheville and there's tons to do there, or relax and unplug and stay in!
