It was an unforgettable visit!! The cottage is so perfectly nestled in the beautiful mountains. We loved visiting with the pony, Princess, and saying hey to their sweet dog Adora! Rachel and Ron gave wonderful recommendations of local restaurants and trails. They were so kind and helpful! The cottage was very clean inside and the experience inside was magical with their beautiful artwork painted everywhere! We loved our stay!

First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

It was a wonderful weekend getaway! We went up here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday in a peaceful way and to disconnect from the outside world. It was homie and beautiful all around. We were able to bring our dog and he enjoyed running around, bathing in the sun, and visiting the cow! We will sure be back once late spring/ summer hits! So thankful for James and Sofi to open up their cabin to us!

A really sweet house in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we wanted to do in and around Asheville was within an easy 10-15 drive. The house was super clean with very comfy beds and plenty of space for our family of three. The host gave helpful instructions right when we needed them and was very responsive and kind. Checkout was a breeze and we’re already looking forward to staying here again!

Anne was prompt in her responses and very accommodating to our needs. We checked in a bit later than we hoped due to some bad traffic/ weather and we were met with warmth and understanding in our inquiries regarding check in details. Their home is very cozy and the environment is very serene. Our kids loved the swing out front "kids meeting area" up stairs.

What a tremendous stay! Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Misty and Nicholas’s home. We stayed for five days so we really came to appreciate the location of the home and all the thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the peaceful setting of the home even though it was conveniently close to both Weaverville and Asheville. The space was cozy and had amenities such as soft, fluffy towels and comfortable beds/pillows that made it extra relaxing. We’d love to come back!

House was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for hosting our friend’s bachelorette. Lyndon and Amie were very responsive and provided easy instructions every step of the way. Amazing area and we’re already looking forward to returning!

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

Insanely amazing stay!! So peaceful and calm to be surrounded by such beautiful nature and animals all around you. Waking up to the cows was an amazing sight and great way to start the day. The hosts themselves were so friendly and helpful with all the recommendations, this place is worth it 110% I can’t wait to come back!

You can't say this often but the actual experience at Vincent's place exceeded the pictures. The pictures made it look beautiful, but in person it was even better. Our kids loved the hot tub. We had more than enough room. Check in was easy and there were great restaurants nearby. We did the Biltmore house as well as a day in Greenville, SC, and both were very convenient from the house. We loved our stay!

I started to feel right at home very quickly. With the windows and doors open, it is hard to find a more peaceful spot. The solar powered generator is plenty enough, and the shower is quite relaxing. You will most likely make a new friend called a Whip-Poor-Will (rare bird) because you cannot miss his call. The wood stove is extremely helpful, but will heat the place up really fast so be conservative with it. The propane cooktop heats up very fast as well and is efficient. Finally, yes, insects are expected, which may include a couple wasps. To be fair, there are traps set up so they are being proactive about it. All in all, you cannot beat this for the price. My wife and I quickly fell in love with the place and we both left very inspired. I still think about what its like to lay on that bed with the windows and doors open. There is nothing like it.

We had a wonderful stay at Jean's beautiful home! The location was serene and picturesque, and we really enjoyed the company of the friendly pigs and goats on the property—they added such a fun touch to the experience. The cabin itself was cozy and a much needed, relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, during our stay, the gas went out, which caused a temporary loss of heat and hot water. While this was a bit inconvenient, the host responded quickly and took quick action to resolve the issue and made sure we were satisfied with our stay. Despite this minor setback, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others looking for a peaceful mountain retreat.

Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to explore Asheville! The house is exactly as advertised—tucked away in the woods, yet just minutes from downtown, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all the must-see spots in the area. When we weren’t out adventuring, we had a blast playing the games in the garage and relaxing in the hot tub. One of my favorite moments was sipping my morning coffee on the porch, surrounded by birdsong. Catherine was a great host—communicative, helpful, and committed to making sure we had a great stay. A peaceful, well-located getaway—I’d absolutely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this serene abode for a long weekend. We had a lovely time! The cabin was immaculate and inviting. We were impressed by Audra and Summer's attention to detail. Details make a great deal of difference when it comes to feeling at home away from home. Lastly, the surrounding landscape is beautiful! If you are looking to unwind and cozy up to nature, this is a great place to do so.

Marys place is nothing less than magical. The open yard was perfect for the kids to play in all day. We spent countless hours swimming in the private creek with our kids and pup. My husband and I took our evenings to do a night swim then warm off in the sauna before watching the stars by the fire. The sounds of crickets put us to bed ( in the most comfortable beds & linens I’ve ever slept in! ) and the birds chirping woke us up! The house was clutter free, cozy and clean with fun indoor and outdoor games tucked away and great reading on the shelves. The neighborhood felt safe and so friendly. We thought we’d spend more time in Asheville but barnardsville and weaverville ( 15 min drive ) had everything we needed for good food and incredible nature. As for our host, she was so friendly and responsive. You can tell she pours her love into this house and takes care of her guests like family. All in all, it was the perfect family vacation and we hope to return soon!

Loved everything about our stay here! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The house was a perfect fit for our family to come together and was extremely clean. We had everything we needed and more! The information provided and Josh’s responsive communication made this vacation so enjoyable and relaxing. The kids loved the treehouse and the goats were everyone’s favorite. This is definitely a place to visit and stay for as long as you can!

Our stay here was well worth the price!! It had all the available amenities as described! The creek in the back was so peaceful to sit beside with a fire going! The hot tub was very relaxing and my husband definitely enjoyed the game room downstairs 😂. 10/10 would recommend for a family getaway or a couples retreat!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Rodney and his family are wonderful and so friendly. The house was spotless and kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Our two year old loved the large living room for dancing and visiting the cows. My dad lives close by, so this will definitely be our go to when we come visit!

One of our favorite AirBnb’s ever! Sky Acres is magical. The house is filled with light, beauty, and art. The yard, large property, and on-site trails are delightful, and the view is extraordinary. The house was packed with thoughtful and quality touches, from exterior walls of windows to nature guides on the bookshelves. We loved reading in front of the fire and eating breakfast while watching clouds on the mountains. We loved every moment! The location was great for us. We hiked at Carver’s Gap (25 min from the house) and Crabtree Falls (35 min), and played in the snow at Sugar Mountain (50 min). Full-sized Ingles and Walmart grocery stores were an easy 15-20 minute drive away in Spruce Pine. We did find the driveway intimidating at first- we are low-elevation dwellers with an old car. We arrived after dark the first day and opted to walk up the the house. The drive was clearly marked, and the host had kindly ensured that all exterior lights were on. By the end of our visit, we were driveway pros! Looking around the area, this sort of drive seems common. For those not confident as mountain drivers, I recommend considering the driveway in planning an arrival at the house for the first time, but our family doesn’t consider the driveway a deterrent. We hope to visit again! I’ve already recommended this house to friends and family. To me, this place is magical. It’s the perfect balance of creature comforts and enjoyment of nature, and everything we want in a mountain getaway.

Our family enjoyed the private location nested on a beautiful river only a short drive to Mt. Mitchell. Burnsville has plenty to enjoy or you can check out Asheville as well. We spent most of our time hiking the Mt. Mitchell State Park and driving the Blueridge Parkway (a must see). Then relaxed at the well stocked house which felt just like home. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen, walked and rafted the river, and played the many games inside when it was raining. We will definitely check availability for the next trip we plan to this area. Sean communicated throughout the trip clearly and let us know they were available if necessary. No pressure to respond as we didn't have cell service up on Mt. Mitchell.
