It would be hard to find more a welcoming host than Elisabeth. She happily answered all my questions, had great local suggestions, and even made some little treats for my son and I! The place is great if you want something quiet and homely. Although the kitchen is small it is really well equipped and you can prepare pretty much anything there - good if you’re in Switzerland which is expensive! Parking is easy and the train is a very pleasant stroll down the hill. Perfect stay and I’ll be back!

Great little apartment with everything you need , the tram station is right next to the building, a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops within 5 min walking. Daniel was super fast to respond and was very helpful!

We visited Bern several times, but this was our first stay at an Airbnb in Breitenrain, ideally located near public transport. The building’s elevator was great for our heavy luggage, and there’s a laundry room in the basement where you need a small green token to operate the machines. Gudrun thoughtfully provided us with two different towel colors, a detail I appreciated. We also used the Chromecast to stream our own shows, and both Coop and Migros were within walking distance for shopping and recycling plastic bottles. For dining, we highly recommend Löscher, Piazza Vittoria, and Nooch Asian Kitchen as some of the best places to eat in the area. We would love to stay here again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying at Tobias’s place! The view of the river was gorgeous, the place was very clean and modern, plus there was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. Tobias gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, as well as places to eat. We rented a car and spent most of our time on day trips outside of town, but also attended some of his recommendations. The instructions to get in to the place were perfectly laid out. He is quick to respond and tries hard to see that your stay a good one. For example, we were a little bit on the warm side so he brought a second fan for us to use the very next day. Tobias is a very good host and we would highly recommended staying there.
