Booked here as a quick decision when needing somewhere to stay before going to Southampton for a cruise and I’m so glad we did! Stuart was such a friendly host and the surroundings were beautiful. Should we be heading down to Southampton again and needed a place to stay we would definitely book here again. Stuart had great knowledge of the local area and even offered to book us a table for dinner at a local pub, the food was great! Stuarts place was perfect for us, thank you!

Great stay for 5 Days, self-contained annex at the back of the garden. Never felt intrusive despite annex being at the back of the garden. Clear communication throught. Annex has everything you need. Very convenient whilst visiting the family nearby for a few days.

Home away from home. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 months when I first arrived in the UK together with my fiancee and our 10 month old daughter. Susie ensured we'd feel right at home from the beginning with all basic necessities provided. The fridge had some fresh food and juice in it, a thoughtful touch that just shows how much the host looks after her guests. The property itself is nestled in the beautiful countryside, offering peace and tranquility, yet it's just a 10-minute car or train ride to the malls and shopping centres in Basingstoke Susie is attentive without being intrusive, always making sure your stay is comfortable while keeping any disturbances to a minimum. The only minor downside is that the dining room doesn’t get much natural sunlight—but that’s a small detail in what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay. Absolutely loved my stay here! The place looks exactly like the photos: beautifully styled, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. Everything felt well cared for, with lovely attention to detail that made it feel like a boutique getaway. The thoughtful extras, like tea, coffee, milk, cooking oil, and more, were so appreciated and made settling in effortless. I felt instantly relaxed, like I was truly on holiday from the moment I arrived. For fellow comfort-lovers: the bed was incredibly cosy, and the shower had great pressure, both important details for a perfect stay! Joanne was a fantastic host. Communication was clear and friendly, she met me on arrival, and gave great tips about the village. The welcome information sheet was super helpful too. I was genuinely sad to leave.
