Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Woodford County

One of our most favorite stays ever! The jukebox was so fun and allowed our kids to hear classic music in the best way! We all enjoyed the pickleball court and the hot tub was a nice touch for evening relaxation. I enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning from the Adirondack chairs in the backyard while overlooking the Kentucky countryside. The home was perfect for our family of 5 (boys ages 11,13,15), stocked exceptionally well with everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay. The charging docks on the nightstand were a nice touch. It was also nice to not have to purchase toiletries, laundry supplies, coffee. They even include creamer pods which was so nice! The location was perfect for bourbon tours and then we also got to experience the Ark Encounter one day (45 min away). We had such a great time. We highly recommend this stay for your next vacation!

The place was so homey!!! The trails were fun to walk and see the flowers and butterflies. Location is great! Close to SO many things!!! Will stay here again for sure!

Meghan is a super hostess. Her house is fantastic and the farm is awesome. Everybody that stayed with us could not get over how beautiful and well kept this property is. We all can't wait for another trip to Tule Farm. The value of staying at this property is well worth it. Loved every minute of our visit. Thank you Meghan for all of your personal care and hospitality.

We were very impressed with Florettas home. Everything looked just like the pictures and the amenities were amazing Floretta thought of everything from snacks, breakfast foods, and treats including homemade cookies and bourbon balls in the kitchen to all kinds of toiletries, extra toilet paper, and a generous supply of quality towels in the bathrooms. The living area was tastefully decorated and comfortable there were instructions to all appliances, wifi, and TVs. Also lots of games for all ages. This is one of the best equipped and organized Air BnBs we have ever visited. Our family of 5 would definitely stay here again to visit the Bourbon Trail to which it was centrally located as well.

This place was great! Our host replied within minutes every time. I asked her a question. We felt at home. She had great suggestions and was very friendly. Will definitely use them again!

Absolutely wonderful stay, easy to town, property is exquisitely done. Awesome touches!! Loved the hot tub! Game room is phenomenal. Property had wildlife daily to photograph with deer, squirrels, and birds.

I was pleasantly surprised... Not only was the home nicer than I expected but the accommodations were outstanding and the Host/Co-host were top notch! I personally did not meet Deb in person but she was quick and friendly to respond to my messages. I did get the privilege of meeting co-host Julia who was SUPER nice, friendly, helpful, and overall a great person. We were very comfortable and felt welcomed. Definitely would recommend to anyone considering going to Lexington to stay here. I know if I go back I know I will be staying here again! Absolutely made our whole experience even better!!!

we almost were not about to return and book with Air B n B but...David absolutely changed that and turned our past awful experience right side up!!! During a extremely busy weekend and sold out everywhere weekend , he was available and even let us check in early!!! we couldn't get over just how peaceful stress-free and felt like honestly we were at our home! they didn't hover or intrude . Will return !!

We really enjoyed our visit at Melanie’s. It a very attractive space with lots of live plants, comfy pillows and throws. You can’t beat the location across from Henry Clay’s home with walking trails and huge trees. Conveniently located close to Chevy Chase which has several cute places to eat and not far from downtown and Rupp Arena. We’ll definitely be back anytime we are in Lexington.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, stylish, and just as described in the listing. The host was very responsive and accommodating, which made check-in and communication easy and smooth. The location is super central—perfect for exploring the city, with tons of great restaurants, bars, and attractions within walking distance. Just a heads-up for light sleepers: the apartment is located above a lively college bar, so there can be some noise in the evenings, especially on weekends. I personally didn’t mind it too much and found it added to the urban vibe, but it might be worth bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive to sound. Overall, a fun and convenient spot for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of Lexington! Will definitely book again!

The space is cozy and welcoming. I didn’t use a lot of the amenities but if I did it would have been convenient. The kitchen had everything you need and the little living area was cozy. I watched some shows my last night in town and the futon couch was very comfy and she had some throw blankets which was nice. It was conveniently located for my needs and Molly was super responsive and accommodating. I had a travel mishap and came a day later than planned and she was very helpful making adjustments to my reservation. I’ll be booking this spot again when I come to town next.

we had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Nora's place. The beds were very comfortable, great shower and spacious living space. also a beautiful deck and gardens outside! thank you!

I can’t express enough what this meant for me! Meeting James was the cherry on top! I felt at home and just loved being in his Air BnB! Recommended 100 percent! His place has everything and more that you could ever want. He is an absolute amazing host and I look forward to coming back again! It’s beautiful there and the duck family by his house and the rabbits I saw every morning and every night! What an awesome visit! Thank you Mr. James!

Quick overnight after traveling from Atlanta to Michigan. Toured the Mary Todd Lincoln museum and had a nice experience at the Bear and the Butcher and breakfast practically next door at Java Jukebox. Nice stay with everything provides.

This is the second time I've stayed at Carlotta's and it won't be the last! The magic garden and greenery make the location peaceful and private, but you are so close to fun things downtown. It's the best of both worlds! The property's historical nature makes it beautiful, nostalgic, and also cozy. I just love it there!

Amelia was a great host and easy to communicate with. Her place was eclectic and in a safe community. A great place to stay if you are visiting or working in the area.

I cannot say enough great things about Matt and the house! We traveled for a girls trip, Matt’s house was clean and safe. He responded to every question, politely and quickly! Recommend great restaurants, delicious food! I will definitely be booking with Matt again in the future!

Had a girl's weekend in Lexington and Brooke's place was perfect for this. The apartment was in a great location and very clean! Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay, super clean and less than a mile from Rupp. We didn't get to make use of the host's suggestions for things to do this trip, but I'll already be looking forward to a second trip!
