Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

The Blue Door is our backyard guesthouse located in an urban neighborhood just north of Asheville and is well situated for the area. We invite well behaved dogs who have been treated for fleas and have a lovely space for being outside. The house is rather private.
