My trip to the country cottage was such a welcome respite while working on an assignment in the area. Cozy, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Jerry and Deborah are so welcoming and lovely to be around. I learned much about the area from them and they were always checking in to make sure things were going well. I look forward to returning soon with my family to explore the area more and spend some time with my new friends.

I could not have been happier with this location. The interior was almost like a human doll house. My friends and I had a great time roasting marshmallows over the fire, swinging as high as we could on the tire swing, and saying hello to the livestock guardian dog. We even had a bear sighting! Not to mention the responsive host, Jana, helping us with any questions we had. This all made my 23rd birthday super special.

Great place to see when visiting Pisgah National Forest attractions and/or Great Smoky Mountains. Comfortable, quiet, and clean :)

Preston was great! We were volunteering for a few days in the area and had to find a last minute place to stay. Big bonus was they had running water so we could shower! Preston was very accommodating, and even greeted us when we got there. Had everything you needed for a convenient stay. Highly recommend this place to stay, it was very welcoming and the bed is super comfy! Best nights sleep!

Only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. The back porch is amazing as is the bed and breakfast type offering with the fresh blueberry muffins and fruit. She also includes coffee, tea and the fixings so it’s really convenient. Will come back again and absolutely loved the skylights and that you did not even need to have lights on, and it was so bright. TV streaming and good wifi. A special treat to shop local right in the air bnb. Bigger Dollar General cross street if you need anything with very nice staff! 😊

First off, we didn’t end up staying at Taras. We saw the reports that there was a potential flood threat from Hurricane Helene, so I had to cancel the morning we were supposed to arrive. I know that providing ratings when we did not actually stay seems dishonest, but every exchange we had was timely and considerate and it was exactly the kind of place we were looking for in our search. I hope that Tara and her family are safe and the people of Asheville quickly receive the necessary resources needed to rebuild from the devastation. So Grateful for my stay! James and Laura were always responsive to any questions i had, the space was perfect for my visit to asheville. I loved the little creek area by the rv and appreciated the beautiful views of the neighboring meadow. The RV was perfect for one person and could see it being perfect for a couple/family also. Some days the rd that passes the land can be a little noisy however for the most part ( especially at night time ) was the perfect sanctuary for my stay. I wouldn't’ hesitate to book again when returning to exquisitely beautiful Leicester! All in all, would definitely recommend!! Dillon

Had a wonderful 7 day stay. The accommodations were as described. Very modern and beautifully furnished. Comfortable beds and gorgeous master bath. The full kitchen was well stocked and coffee was provided. April and Robert were readily available to answer questions. The location is rural on a quiet road but within easy driving to all Asheville attractions.

the cabin was very clean and seemed new. right in the middle of town so we had easy access to everything. it was the perfect size for me and my fiance. all around I have absolutely no complaint.

This place was truly a rare gem. The home was immaculate, pristine, and truly stunning. The balcony and view were priceless and oh so peaceful. This private space was everything we needed and more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway full of beautiful views. Close to several delicious restaurants and about 15 minutes to Asheville. We hope to come back!!

Furrys lodge was a wonderful quiet place to stay. The rooms were very clean and as described. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and kind. Would highly recommend staying here!

Celine, Chris, their family, and the neighbors saved our lives during our stay when we were all hit by Hurricane Helene. They treated us like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Treated us with food, water, and fresh coffee. We can’t thank you enough for what you guys did!! I travel a lot for work and been to many air bnbs that are similar to what this host provided but I will say nothing is going to top off the scenery this one provides especially with the bon fire they have; it is very peaceful and away from the town great outdoor experience, Every little thing about this casita was perfect and I hope I get the opportunity to come back out here cause i definitely will try and stay here again if it’s available.

Place was spotless and exactly as described. In a nice quiet area that was close to almost all of the places we wanted to go visit. Great place and great hosts!

Perfect place for our family getaway. The cottage had something for everyone which was nice for a few rainy days of our trip. Location was great, close to Asheville, yet still far enough away from the big city bustle. Very responsive and helpful, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Could not have asked for better, friendlier hosts!

It was such a pretty view and so nice, the stairs although being steep were made in a way that makes it pretty hard to slip on so super safe! Came with good wifi to do homework with and the tv had a couple streaming services too!

Stayed at Gregg & Lynn’s for one night on a road trip. They were super-responsive, and the place had everything I needed—hot shower, laundry, and comfy bed. The views were nice and it was very quiet and private. Be aware that there are many stairs leading up to the front door.

I was waiting to see what all the good feedback was about, and after experiencing it everyone hit the nail right on the head. It was so peaceful and relaxing! My fiancé and I enjoyed watching the livestock on the farm and it felt just like home! The hosts were super nice and even helped us out with a favor. I would definitely come back and stay again!

Awesome place. Can’t say enough about the wonderful outdoor living space and friendly hosts. The indoor space was a good size for two of us. Would definitely return.
