Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wonder Valley, Twentynine Palms

We cannot say enough great things about this rental. We loved it so much we never even made it to the national park. This is the perfect spot to spend a weekend. The house is lovely, spacious, and comfortable - equipped with anything you could need. We will be back as soon as we can!

Coreys dome house is the best styled Airbnb I have rented- its gorgeous with tasteful and interesting art & curiosities. It feels more like staying in a cool friends' home than a rental home. We took great use of the hot tub and well equipped kitchen and the very convenient entrance to Joshua Tree Park.

Amazing place! Very tranquil and stunning views. Highly recommend. Hosts are extremely communicative and friendly. Exactly as expected. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan on visiting again in the future

Great house inside and out, a little hard to get to since we have a two wheel drive. Appliances could use an update, otherwise the interiors are beautiful and modern. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful spot! Great backyard for the dogs, so close to the park and to town, quiet neighborhood, great air conditioning, the hot tub was perfectly tucked away, and a driveway that fit all 4 of our cars! The living room tv doesn’t have many streaming options, so bring a streaming device of some sort if you plan to spend some time on the couch.

Place is amazing- having the main house as well as outdoor dining area and cowboy pool was really perfect for traveling with a three-year-old. We were able to have space to walk around and lounge (even during naptime!). Property is very well though out and prepared- was a really special place to be able to stay. Will totally stay again- far enough away from things to be quiet and have some space, and also very easy to get into town.

We had an unforgettable weekend at this Airbnb. I usually have pretty high standards, but this place absolutely delivered. It was peaceful, clean, and struck a perfect balance of comfort and character. The natural hot spring-fed hot tub was a highlight—soaking under the stars in that kind of stillness was next-level. Megan loved it, and I had one of those rare moments where everything just felt aligned. The host provided clear, detailed instructions ahead of time, and I really appreciated not needing any extra back-and-forth—exactly how I prefer it. We’d definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Jamie's place as part of annual girls' trip, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is wonderful and the surroundings are beautiful! There was plenty of space for us to spread out, both inside and out, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the beds were comfortable. Jamie is a very proactive host and had very clear instructions. We all would stay here again without a doubt!

This was one of the most amazing stays I have ever had through Airbnb. I fell in love with the house and property as soon as I arrived. As someone from the "Baby Boomer" generation, the mid 20th century architecture, furnishings and "vibe" of the house were a delight to experience! I was looking for a retreat-like experience, and in that regard the property was just perfect for me! I loved the privacy, and the views from the house and the property were truly outstanding! It was so quiet and so incredibly peaceful. It is the perfect location to watch the sunset with the mountains in the background, and I really enjoyed making a fire in the outdoor fireplace after sunset each night. I literally did not want to leave when it was time for me to check out! I enjoyed a visit to Joshua Tree National Park which is just minutes away from the house, and the hot tub and pool were amazing. Jenn was very friendly and easy to get ahold of for any questions. I can't wait to return!

Diane was an incredible host! Her and the Hidden Passage crew have created such a beautiful and peaceful oasis and made mine and my partner’s anniversary vacation an absolute dream! It truly felt like we were removed from society for a small moment and that’s exactly what we needed. The property was so well managed and kept so pristine! Every staff member we met on site was so kind and extremely helpful! I could not recommend this place enough! Also the pool rocks, we spent every single day in it!

This was our second stay here. It’s so beautiful, clean, quiet, and a perfect location. The views are amazing, especially at night. It’s safe and feels remote but isn’t far from JTNP.

What a cute lil place! We had such a nice time relaxing in the living space and listening to records! Unfortunately the record collection wasn’t exactly chock full of 70s music and the albums that we did find cool weren’t even in the sleeves. Kind of disappointing. We ended up using the speaker mostly. The place was comfortable and clean and the vintage appliances worked better than my modern ones! Oh, I should have brought my own pillow! The pillows in the bedrooms were VERY thin!!! What a great job making it pretty authentic 70s! That part was super fun.

Really cool place…peace and quiet, nice views, close to the park. Very roomy inside and very well insulated. We opened all the windows at night and closed them all before we left for the park. The place was still nice and cool inside when we got back. Breakfast on the front porch, outstanding. We would highly recommend this place.

We had such a restful stay at Don's Casita! Very welcoming with all the snacks! Very close to wonderful restaurants. It was all perfect!

Perdu au milieu du désert nous avons pu profiter de la cuisine extérieur ainsi que de la piscine et du brasero à la belle étoile pendant que nous entendions les coyotes hurler, c’était impressionnant ! What a great place! We enjoyed our stay there with our 1 year old kid, and everything was great. The place was super clean! I wanna know how he keeps the bathroom glass so clean.. Walter was so nice and easy to communicate. I definitely recommend this beautiful place. Thank you!

My group of 7 stayed at this airbnb during MDW and overall we had a really great time. The house is beautiful and large enough to accommodate a group of 7 adults. We had 3 adults staying in the bunk bed room and they were comfortable for the most part. The mattresses in the other two bedrooms were very comfortable. The bedding was clean and there were ample towels for the pool and bathing. There were some issues we encountered such as there being no hand soap in both bathrooms and no hand soap in the kitchen. There also was only half a roll of paper towels provided which we quickly went through and there were no additional garbage bags provided as well. In the primary bedroom there was no body wash in the shower but there were hair products. And in the other bathroom there was body wash and hair products. The pool was great even in early May. Cons: Ants in kitchen Place can be a little hot (can only lower thermostat to around 70) Found a dead lizard in the pool Lack of soap

100/10 EXPERIENCE!!! To say that this was an amazing stay would be an understatement. What a beautiful, clean, fun home. So spacious and a great energy, the backyard is an absolute OASIS. Quiet area so close to Palm Springs, perfect for Indio festivals since you avoid PS traffic, yet still so close. Groceries/coffee/restaurants very close by, this house has everything you need for the absolute most perfect stay. Beds are so comfortable, so many areas to lounge & relax, the pool floaters were perfect for relaxing in the pool, huge mirrors everywhere, cool & hip artwork & kitchen & grill has literally anything you could make to cook at home. 100/10 hosts, so responsive, so friendly & accommodating. I even left my prized Kindle at the home & the owners so graciously sent it back to me at no charge, what a kind gesture. HIGHLY recommend this home for your vacation. My friends and I had the most ultimate stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH Tim & David!!!!

Spacious and beautiful house with great amenities. The pool and backyard area was great, lots of lounging space and plenty of room. Casita was gorgeous and we liked the style. Plenty of games, puzzles and activities! Jeffery was responsive, helpful and very accommodating. Highly recommend!
