Moving my college freshman into UW Madison. Hotels had jacked prices up to the hilt plus charging for parking and not guaranteeing holding any shipped items. So I went looking for an Airbnb. This place was fabulous!! Easy to come and go. An absolutely quaint lovely room. You could eat off the bathroom floor. With parking in a quiet area just behind camp Randall. Walking distance to Trader Joe’s. And the hosts were so responsive and helpful when I was trying to figure out if or how to ship stuff in advance. It made the whole trip a whole lot easier and comfortable.

Ginger is so sweet and has such an amazing farm. My kids really enjoyed seeing the animals and had plenty to do around the farm and in the home. My family and friends found the stay very comfortable and the house won us over with it's charm and layout. We were in town for a wedding, but this would be the perfect place for a country get away with multiple families or lots of kids of different ages. The only down side was that we happened to be there during lady bug season so there were a few around the house, but that didn't detract from our wonderful experience and 5 star rating.

Stunning Wisconsin Retreat on Active Farm!

Our family, dogs included, really enjoyed the property. The large well-fenced yard was a game-changer for our trip and allowed us to spend hours outside playing with our dogs. The house was clean. The host was responsive and considerate, even leaving a dozen farm-fresh eggs, a block of cheese, and a bag of dog treats for us all to enjoy. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Spent two nights here with my husband. Kari was friendly and the accomidations were great. She had everything we needed to make our meals, even down to the digital thermometer for our steaks. The highlight of our trip was watching eagles fly around while the sun was setting, all while relaxing in the hottub. Not to mention the breathtaking review of the River Valley. Truly beautiful, peaceful and private. We look forward to returning!

Absolutely everything was as described, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed all of the extras like pool, darts and the hot tub. It was so much fun to see the turkeys trotting through the yard and we even saw a few deer. Our family was talking about rebooking for next year before we even left. Chris was always super responsive. Thanks for a great vacation!

We were in the area visiting family. We had our two dogs with us. There was tons of room for them to run around outside. The house was spacious for us. It was quiet and private, the surrounding area beautiful! The house was beautiful, cutely decorated for the Christmas season. Thoughtfully, there were fly swatters (had we needed them) and umbrellas (needed!) available

This was a great place for our boys' weekend. Everything was as shown, and the extent of the provided basics, including cookware, spices, towels, sheets, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, were all exemplary for a vacation rental. I highly recommend a stay here.

When we arrived at the Lodge, the cleaning person was still there and we waited until 4p to finally check in. Once we were in the Lodge, we noticed our feet and socks sticking to the floor, we located the broom, vacuum and a mop and cleaned all the floor’s, so that was gross and frustrating. We stayed 5nights/ 6 days. After day 2 the utility closet was locked and we couldn’t sweep or vacuum the rest of the time. We rented the bottom half, it was very spacious, plenty of sleeping room, and areas to relax and enjoy ourselves. There’s a dart board in the pool room, one red dart was missing, but we still enjoyed it all using the same color. We brought a boat with us, parked it without problem. The lake is clean, low traffic, our kids could touch the bottom past the dock. They raked the beach area once when we were there. Plenty of cooking supplies, only one crock pot if you need more for meal planning. The gas grill was very handy. A few people logged in to the Wi-Fi so they could work and join meetings without difficulty or poor connections. The only time we heard people upstairs was when little feet we’re running around. It’s not bad, didn’t keep anyone awake or from enjoying themselves. We had one family member that uses a walker and a shower chair. There are many steps to go in and down, we used a plastic folding chair as a shower chair just fine. He enjoyed the patio off the dining to get outside and the sunset. Some of the area activities we enjoyed: Minne-aqua-bats water ski show in town, horseback riding, mini golf, ice cream, casino, disc golf. Also a couple grocery stores and liquor stores so you can just shop when you get there. Thanx for a great time!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was super responsive and contacted me a few days before hand to make sure all my questions were answered. The place was well kept, making it a really comfortable stay. I especially loved the cute closed in porch. The area was beautiful, quiet and had many options for places to go near by. My overall experience was fantastic and definitely will stay here again.

Usually you get to a place and it’s not quite what the pictures show but this was just the opposite… it was better! It was so cozy and peaceful, and the amenities were OUTSTANDING! We loved the nice touches, like the wonderful decor and how there were towels on our beds, fans in every room, and books and games laid out for every area. We will be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view from the living room is beautiful. It was just two couples and a great size for that. The lower level had another bedroom and bathroom with game area that makes us plan to return for a getaway with our kids and grandkids. The manager of the property was always very responsive when we had any questions. We would highly recommend staying here.

We were staying in Marathon City for skiing at Granite Peak. It was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and I during our weekend away. The house is well appointed and was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essential cooking supplies and the rooms were outfitted with plenty of extra towels and blankets. The king size bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We also appreciated the little decorations that made the place feel special. It was very convenient to have garage parking as well during the winter so no need to shovel snow off the car (we were there during a mini snowstorm that came through overnight). The host was very responsive and was quick to help us take care of a little issue we had with the WiFi one night. All in all a great place that I would recommend for couples as well as small families. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Granite Peak.

This was a great space to host our annual family getaway. We had plenty of room and the space provided what we needed and more. Even though it was still a little chilly we were able to enjoy both the back deck and patio. The host was great and communicated with us when we had questions. Definitely someplace we would like to visit again in the warmer months.

The living room is furnished with a sectional sofa and a reclining chair, arranged around a wooden coffee table. A large flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall, and natural light enters through the large windows, enhancing the neutral-toned decor.

We really enjoyed ourselves in our spacious & nicely furnished room at The Mill. For us 70-somethings, an elevator would have been welcome. And the building restoration was fascinating. The coffee shop was lovely.
