Waterfront vacation rentals in Wiscasset

it's a magical location and such a well appointed apartment. as someone who has hosted on airbnb, I really appreciated all the amenities they had. the hosts are so dope as well. you cannot go wrong with the place, the location, or the vibe.

Jean is a cordial, friendly on site owner manager who takes great pride in her accommodations. No detail is too small to get her attention. Our unit was crisp, clean and delightfully appointed. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and delightful accommodations.

The Crow's Nest was a lovely apartment with a great view of the city from the rooftop. The photos and description of the apartment matched the actual experience. Kathy was super responsive any time we reached out to her. She also gave us a fabulous list of recommendations for the area including restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and local hikes.

Jennifer's place is so interesting, clean and tastefully decorated! We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely would return there, as many guests do. Be sure to check out the wonderful nearby Salt Water Cod Cafe and the many Maine-made things from Seaside Creations on the road to the Giant Steps on Bailey's Island. Also, the chocolate from Jennifer's candy store up the road is really good. Thank you Jennifer for making this experience possible!

Adorable, idyllic, comfortable, serene. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our Maine Minimoon! Some places have 5 stars and aren’t really legit — this is not one such place. Hillary’s place fully deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We look forward to staying again soon!!

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

These accommodations were perfect! Overlooking the Casco Bay harbor, the view was even better than depicted in the pictures. The condo was meticulously clean and very well appointed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable we slept even better than we do at home. The location could NOT have been better! It overlooks Portland’s old-town shopping district, and is easily walkable to all of the best restaurants in town. There is a beautiful walking trail just up the street, and you can easily catch the ferry to the islands from this location. It is convenient, beautiful and welcoming.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

Our stay was so relaxing. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sauna is absolutely magical and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend with zero stress.

Great location on Back River. short drive to wiscasset and groceries. Fun to sit and watch the tides.

Morning sunrise across the harbor with rose, pink, purple, blue neon colors? Check! Funky, Artsy, Unique cottage features (by all means, appreciate the Art Glass newel posts)? Check! Clean, cozy, comfortable and induces lazy R&R? Double Check!! Nearby places to explore, learn history, eat & drink hearty, hike, shop for treasures? Also double check!! My husband and I frequent the Pemaquid Peninsula during all seasons. Sometimes we camp, sometimes we find hidden gems to stay for a weekend...Ken's Cottage is a keeper...Triple Check!!! This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! We had two nights to spend in Maine after a week long trip to Quebec. The lake house was a wonderful place to unwind after our busy trip to Canada. We spent our full day parked in the yard, enjoying the boats provided, reading, playing bags, and just sunning. It was a gorgeous day, and we loved it. The house is spacious, very well-stocked, and has many little amenities to make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about what a nicely appointed home in a beautiful setting this is. I came for peace and tranquility and it did not disappoint. I haven’t had such good sleep in over 2 years. Highly recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you all so much for sharing your lovely home.

fantastic stay. clean and well equipped. the lake is even more beautiful than the pictures! Roman was very responsive and went above and beyond in providing helpful information about the area and place.

If you are looking for a 2BR base camp in this area for kayaking (or other boating), look no further. The location is fantastic, with beatiful islands to explore, ospreys, herons, and lots of seals and other sea life. Also very close to Porter Preserve and the Maine Botanical Gardens, both well worth visiting. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well-appointed, great views from indoor and out. The dock is new and phenomenal. Kimberly was an excellent and communicative host.

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

Wonderful place, beautiful view, clean home, would Definitely rebooked in the near future! 100% recommend

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave! Everything about the cabin was well thought out. We loved having a fire and looking at the stars from the dock! Mark and Laurie were fantastic, friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. We would love to come back someday!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

My stay here was wonderful! The perfect homebase for our trip. Everything was exactly as described and then some. A great sea breeze and a cozy space to rest and relax before hitting the beach or walking into town. I felt right at home. I can't wait to go back again! 💜

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.
