Moon Bay Cottage is a cute comfortable Maine Style Cottage with a Maine Themed Beach decor. The view of the shoreline is great, and the complex the cottage is in, is very quite and peaceful. The 4 of us, all adults, were very comfortable in the living room. Kitchen is well equipped, which is good since the bulk of the area restaurants are a bit of a distance away. The closest restaurant is a 1/2 mile south (Noodle & Rice) was pretty good, and we went a couple of times.

We had an awesome stay here!! The views are beautiful, the hot tub is awesome and the house was clean! It was also really fun to see the chickens and goats! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiny House! Ned and Anne were fantastic hosts- responsive, thoughtful, and clearly take great care of the property. The Tiny House was clean and cozy, yet spacious, for our family of four (2 adults and 2 young children). Our kids loved the loft area, which quickly became their favorite spot to hang out. The house is set on a private lot with beautiful views which offered peace and quiet while still being close to enough to explore everything the area has to offer. We loved sitting at the fire pit at night and making s’mores- it was the perfect ending to days hiking in Acadia. We highly recommend the Tiny House for families looking for a quiet, charming, and comfortable stay near Acadia!

The house was clean and orderly and the views were beautiful

We loved the cabin and the location. For a space that was more on the compact side, it had practically everything we needed, inside and out. We were completely charmed! Our front yard had views of Frenchman Bay. Even on a foggy overcast day, the views were beautiful (and perfect for watching horror films like The Fog and The Mist). Catherine's attention to detail were far above anything we expected (e.g., enough provisions so that we didn't have to do a grocery run after we arrived, snacks, drinks, toiletries, linens). My favorite part of the cabin? There's a little nook, underneath the stairs that could be used as another sleeping area -- so comfortable. We also loved that this place has easy access to both MDI and Schoodic. Catherine was charming and chock full of interesting facts and history about Lamoine. Our entire stay was a complete pleasure, even on rainy days, and we'll definitely be returning. A big THANK YOU to Catherine!

The location is incredible! Ive never had such a great view. The place was clean and comfortable. Booth ay Harbor is very nice place to stay.

The cottage was a lovely stay as we traveled from Acadia down to Portland! We checked in a little late, but Jennifer was super timely in responses and very accommodating. The views were spectacular and a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. 10/10 would recommend stopping by Green Tree coffee across the street on your way out. Great coffee and great service!

Amazing for a girls weekend! Spirits renewed and inspired! Three women set out, no men in tow, To a treehouse in Maine where the pine breezes blow. With bags full of books and a playlist in hand, They left behind emails and schedules unplanned. The treehouse stood tall, with twinkle light flair, Like a secretive cottage just floating in air. They swooned and they cackled, they gasped and they read—“If he’s not the end game, I’m flipping this bed.” Three women, one treehouse, no drama, all heart—Each moment a poem, each night a fresh start. We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

This is a really special spot! Close to town and all kinds of necessities but also very secluded and quiet! It was so private and peaceful and such special accommodations! We stayed in a tree house that had everything we needed yet not cluttered or crowded!

We didn’t know what to expect at Naughty Dog Island besides peaceful seclusion and alternative living for a few days but we ended up getting so much more from the experience. Kent has everything you would need including pristine filtered drinking water and plenty of battery powered items (fans, lights, cell phone charger) to make it as connected or unplugged as you want. We only really slept, cooked over the open fire, read books, and most importantly swam our dogs until they snored loudly every night. We need to go back again and if everything stays exactly the same it will still be what we need as a getaway.

The greenhouse cottage is nothing short of perfect for a quiet getaway. Dave & Flora were beyond welcoming, providing alternative plans and ideas for the wet weather they were having and were very quick to respond. The cottage itself is a work of great craftsmanship, everything you could possibly need was available.

We stayed for eight days and loved it! It surpassed our expectations and the open floor plan allowed our three generation family to spend great time just talking and spending quality time together. We were met with some great snacks when we arrived which came into handy after a long day of traveling from the west coast. We were captivated by the beautiful landscape including amazing eagles plunging into the waters and catching fish. The changing tides meant the landscape and natural activities were always providing a new show to enjoy. We loved everything about this stay and would highly recommend it!

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)

Very unique home, beautiful views, quiet, everything we were looking for. We ordered Lobsters from across the street (super nice people) in the morning and they had them ready for pick up at dinner.

Great stay at Nathan’s place. Nathan was very responsive to any questions we had, and his scones are amazing. Boothbay Harbor is beautiful as well

If you want a fairytale cabin in the woods, this is the place you want to escape too! Every thing about this home softly whispers luxury! My wife and I wanted some place special to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we found it! Ann felt more like family the way she hosted us. We arrived to all kinds of complimentary surprises ! Wine , blueberry jam, delicious snacks and plenty of picturesque spots to enjoy them. So many hiking adventure spots near by, must see little fishing towns, delicious food and welcoming people! We will be back!!!!

We loved our stay at the old postal cottage! So cozy and a great outdoor area.

I had to stay a extra night because of work. The host had the place cleaned and ready before returning to the house which was really nice. it a cool house with great property to walk.

It’s a lovely cabin, the hot tub is a plus. It’s also fairly private since it’s last cabin of the property.

This was our third stay at the Rocky Top Hideaway and won’t be our last! Each time we are blown away by the surrounding beauty and Mig’s hospitality. You can’t go wrong with a getaway here - from the goats to the amenities to the nearby attractions!

Jeff’s place stood out as a beautiful relaxing and peaceful location. The cottage was exactly what was advertised. Everything we needed was available to us. Felt like our cottage in NY. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to return. Response was great.
