Maple Hill Farm Inn, Room 8, 1st Floor, HUGE Double Whirlpool tub, Deck

SarahRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Scott was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. He greeted my partner and I on check in, showed us around the property, and gave us great local recommendations for food. The room was very spacious with a cozy fireplace and awesome jacuzzi tub. The decor was tasteful and homey. The hot tub and sauna were such a nice touch and we enjoyed relaxing in them! We also appreciated the library, the coffee/tea, and pastries that were out. Breakfast was also delicious. We plan to come back very soon!

Sunny Second Floor Room in 1888 Inn

AliciaRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Beautiful comfortable place to stay. Roomy bathroom with bath. Small kitchen with basic utensils which we used for a simple dinner one evening instead of eating out. We were tempted to make use of the fireplace because it was lovely but too tired after hiking all day!

Last minute ended up passing through Belfast for the evening and came upon this place. Great little getaway. Easy to get into town. Enjoyed that they had basic kitchen ware. Would recommend.

The Elms - Bear Den Room

MeganRating, 5 stars6 months ago
It was a beautiful property and was very similar to the photos. We enjoyed the amazing river view in the back. It was easy to get to Portland in an Uber. The home feels historical and is absolutely beautiful. With the history, also came the dust and age of the building (creeky floors), but we didn’t mind this at all. The bathroom did not feel dated and it had amazing water pressure. Overall, we would recommend if you want a historical vibe with a good view.

The Elms - Lodge Room

LauraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed in the Lodge room for three nights. It is a big, lovely room with a big comfortable bed and a fine view over the river. Check-in instructions were clear. We didn't see anyone at all while we were there, though we heard others moving around a bit. It was a warm and cozy place to be in a snowstorm. Tiny detail - only one coffee pod available Monday morning, no cups of any kind in room or bathroom. That's really tiny though - our main message is it was a great place to stay.
A bright living room features a large sectional sofa and a cozy armchair, complemented by a wooden coffee table. Colorful artwork adorns the walls, and houseplants add a touch of greenery. A dining area with a circular table and chairs is also visible.

We loved this cottage! It had everything we needed, was clean and bright, styled beautifully. We enjoyed borrowing records from the office to listen to. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. An easy drive to downtown and other points of interest. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The Elms - Cumberland Room

StinkyBichRatRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I didn't stay the whole time because I stayed with my girlfriend. I am so silly to have wasted my own money. But it is a beautiful place and area was nice. I am a stinky poop boy. Host was so nice and perfect. I am smelly. The toilets work great, I tested them for water pressure. One night I had a big belly ache from all the McDonald's i eat on a regular basis, the amenities were perfect.
A bright guest room features two double beds dressed in light blue and white bedding. Colorful throw pillows add pops of color. A green bedside table stands between the beds, and a small round table with chairs occupies one corner. Artwork adorns the walls, accentuating the cheerful decor.

Laid-back camp vibes in this 2-bedroom cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
What a gem of a place - thanks to the time, attention and care of Alex, his wife and their staff! We would definitely choose to return for a longer stay next time we are in the area.  The property is immaculate, both indoors and out. Cabin #16 is well appointed with thoughtful touches - comfortable bedding and furniture throughout, beautiful nature-centric coffee table books for a quiet evening learning more about Maine, and a sparkling bathroom with quality soaps and towels. We commented several times on the cute details and the cleanliness of the cabin which made our stay so cozy and enjoyable. Cabin #16 was perfect for our group of 3 adults. Beautiful ocean view at the front and great access to many miles of walking trails out back!  A few minutes drive to downtown Belfast, plus wonderfully situated to many great towns nearby. Do yourself a favor and book a cozy cabin stay, you won't regret it!
