Norfolk rural cottage with hot tub, games room

JohnRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The family had a lovely break here, a short drive from Norwich Showground where we attended an event but far enough away for peace and quiet… lovely walks… excellent pub Kings Arms local for dinner. Everything needed was in the lodge including a very appreciated ā€˜welcome pack’ to start us off on arrival. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Lesleys place. Very near to the sea and close to all beeches we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi. The cottage is dog friendly and had all things our 4 month old Labrador puppy needed.

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Stunning Barn Conversion with Private Hot Tub

DuncanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

AnthonyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described šŸ‘Œ. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest šŸ‘Œ A1.

The Hayloft. 5* cottage. Beach walks. Peace.

KarenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely time. The nearby woods was a God-send for cooler and late-nights walks for Effie. Had a lovely chat with Bim when discussing a good pub to visit.. went for Vernon Arms and was not disappointed. We crammed lots in and would not hesitate in visiting the Hayloft again if we were coming back to Norfolk. Thanks again x

The cottage was comfortable, clean and fresh, it had everything you needed. Sitting outside, looking over the allotments was so relaxing and the people were so friendly and welcoming. Plenty of places to take the dogs. Quick and easy walk to the beach and plenty of places to eat. Hannah sent some helpful information the day before we left and was quick to answer any questions I had. There was also plenty of information in the cottage. We had a lovely time in a lovely place

Myself, my partner and family stayed in this property for my mums 60th. The cottage was as lovely as you can see in the pictures. The property was spotless and had a very homely feel to it. It was also a great size for 6 people. The area was super quiet and peaceful, with a lovely beach 15/20 minutes walk away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Beachside Cottage with sea views and free WiFi

PhilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay. We spent 4 nights with our dog. Firstly it was lovely and clean with everything you need, we felt at home straight away. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach and you can sit outside and see the sea - something not many places can actually say. It’s on a holiday park which is very peaceful and quiet. We can recommend walking down the beach to the Poachers Pocket pub - it’s about 10/15mins and even serves breakfast or a morning coffee. The overall location is also so easy to get around for days out in the Broads. We loved it And highly recommend.

Romantic retreat, magical garden

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Roderick and Claire couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure we had the right directions , they couldn’t be there to greet us but let us know and then popped round to say hello. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs. I had everything there I needed to cook with and the bathroom was small but cosy and clean. Words fail me to describe their truly stunning garden and I did frequent wanderings around it and each time fell in love with it that little bit more. Will be visiting again next year for sure. Only down side was the weather which couldn’t be helped and on the upside gave us the opportunity to explore the area, otherwise I think I would have spent the entire time in the garden!!

The Old Potting Shed close to the broads

LindaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had a lovely one night stay in The Old Potting Shed. Annette and her husband were very friendly but also very respectful of our privacy. Everything was clean and a comfy bed. It was perfect and the views and quietness was just what we needed. Only wish I could wake up to that every day. Had a lovely meal in the local pub which Annette suggested. Will definitely stay again at some point and hopefully for more than one night!

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were visiting Norfolk for a long weekend and The Snug fitted the bill. It was clean, comfortable and James communicated very well and met us on arrival. Comfortable bed and great shower. Although kitchen is small, it suited us and it was good to be able to make a cup of tea on our arrival after a long drive. Local shop a short walk away provided the few groceries we needed.

Charming 18th Century Cottage close to The Broads

ZoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We’ve just returned from a week in Thyme Cottage and have had an excellent time! We were a family with a dog and found the enclosed garden a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes / utensils and we were able to cook a full Sunday dinner and also able to prepare meals throughout the week. The washing machine and dishwasher also came in handy. The property is well placed in a lovely village with plenty of walks for our dog from the property. The property is well situated for Norwich City centre and also a choice of supermarkets with only a 10-15min drive away. UEA is also only around 25mins away. Thank you so much for a great stay. We would recommend this property.

A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings- it was exactly what we hoped for. Denise and her husband were friendly and welcoming, and when a very minor issue occurred were quick to get it sorted. It was great to be able to walk down to the beach and in to the village, and Cromer is only a 5 minute drive away. We would have happily stayed longer, and would love to stay again.

Our stay at The Stables in Clay was really lovely. The accommodation was great … a bit quirky, with interesting artwork in all areas. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. Lots of local information provided by the host and two pubs in the village serving great food. We would definitely return and would recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Thank you Ed.
