Val was a great host and responded quickly and was very friendly! Was very accommodating with our circumstances and every easy check in and out! The Barn Studio was clean and homely! Even though on a farm it was quiet and we found it to be very private! Kitchen amenities were great with an air fryer! Would thoroughly recommend if you want a lovely country feel that is close to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge! Thank you for a great stay!!

We stayed here in unit 1 (2 adults, 2 children) for my mum’s 70th birthday with my brother, brother in law and mum staying in the barn next door with their 2 dogs. The barns were lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. There was a lovely welcome basket with bread, coffee, biscuits etc. and the thoughtful touch of a card and bottle of Prosecco for my mum. The outside space is beautiful and although there’s the hosts property and a couple of other properties nearby, it was peaceful and quiet. Our children made friends with the children from one of the other properties and had a great time playing in their garden together. Having George, Fred and Bambi (the horses) just on the other side of the fence for our stay was lovely-my children loved being able to stroke them whenever they wanted. This was a great place to stay for a large group with the ideal balance of being nextdoor to each other whilst still having our own space in the barns.

The cottage was perfect for my family. In a peaceful location but a short drive away from Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge. Bath is a 12mins train ride from Bradford on Avon. We really enjoyed exploring the local area. Check in was straight forward and the welcome food parcel was really lovely. The cottage had everything we needed, and more. The kitchen was particularly well equipped and toiletries were provided in the bathroom. The host also provided a travel cot and highchair for our toddler. The cottage gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The host communicated really well, providing clear instructions and responded to messages quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. We could not have wished for a more relaxing break. Lovely to see Gay and Jonathan again, as welcoming and friendly as ever - you could not wish for better hosts. The studio is a joy to spend time in and is very well thought out and cared for. When we did tear ourselves away from it (it's so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in!) we easily filled our time with a variety of things to do from the doorstep. Exploring BoA itself: the Tithe Barn area and the area called Tory, with its great views and lovely gardens. We also did walks to Iford Manor, Freshford, and Limpley Stoke (great pub with imaginative menu and lovely outdoor space!). Canal and river walks so pleasant and easy. We had some lovely food out but also found it perfect for picking up bits and pieces locally (including a good Sainsbury's, which we walked to along the canal) when we decided to cook for ourselves. We have booked to come back, can't wait for our lovely little 'mini' break!
