Superb 3 Bedroom Sandstone Home with private Lake

StaceyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Abbots Moss. It was last minute (same day booking) and everything was ready and in order. The house was definitely a home away from home which is exactly what I am looking for. We have two children and a very well behaved golden - all loved the location and the house. The grounds and lake are exquisite and so peaceful. The lounge area was beautifully decorated with sofas I would purchase for my own home. Linens are also something I look for and the beds were all lovely. We enjoyed the area, eating out at some local recommendations, visiting Hadrian's Wall, completing our first family Wainwright summit! Thank you Tamar. We would love to return!

Quakers Field View

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lindsay was super helpful from the beginning of our communication and during our stay. The house is lovely and the comfiest beds we've ever had in an Airbnb! Towels were provided and the shower was epic - the men struggled with the low beam a bit but still loved the rainfall and hand held combo. We'll be back for a short stay for sure 😊.

Osprey Boathouse your luxury water side retreat

RichardRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic accomodation, right on the lake with loads of thoughtful treats on arrival. Just what we wanted! Very close to bustling Bowness but also a short hop to tranquility of west shore. We enjoyed kayaking around the islands from our doorstep and took bikes on car ferry and visited Wray castle. Our teenage lads loved the footgolf 5mins from house too. Loads of great walks from nearby. We drove to grasmere (20 min) and did Fairfield horseshoe. Perfect base for all the family. Thanks Helen!

Hawkhow Cottage, Glenridding

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accommodation is really comfortable. Amole seating in the living space. Lovely dining area very airy feeling. Bedrooms and bedding are comfortable and clean. The layout is great for families and the outside spaces are interesting and beautiful. It is set into a hillside and the drive way is steep and can be a little scrabbly. However a minute of walking puts you lakeside of Ullswater which is stunning and clean. 10 minutes walk gets you to Glenridding if you need essentials or a cold pint or glass of wine. Overall I would give it a “I’d stay again for sure” out of 10.

Sams place was even better than the photos show! The location is stunning and Claughton Hall and the servants quarters were perfect for a lovely weekend getaway. Sandpiper, No:41 Port Haverigg Marina village

PhilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely, well-maintained caravan in a great location within the marina. Great views over the lake and a handy location to the bar area. The living area, kitchen/dining area and bedrooms were well looked after and was like a home away from home for our break. The kids loved the mod-cons such as WiFi, smart TV and Alexa! We appreciated the modern kitchen appliances, huge fridge freezer and dishwasher...I feel old just typing that. Thanks for a great Easter weekend.

Mona House Keswick - pet-free Lakes townhouse

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was perfect for our stay. It met and exceeded our requirements. Nigel answered any queries quickly and fully. The house was, for us in a perfect location. Only 5 minutes walk from the town centre, 15 minutes from the Derwent Water ferry. We stayed at Mona House for 7 days and did not have to use the car once. We visited and climbed several interesting walks. Keswick is a lovely town and contains many attractions including restaurants, museums, galleries and of course Derwent Water and the most stunning countryside. The house was the most well equipped we have ever rented. I suppose the question that needs answering is, "Would we stay again?". Absolutely, in a heart beat
The exterior of the cottage is shown, featuring a light-colored façade with three windows. A flowerbed with vibrant blooms is visible in front of the house. A driveway leads to a garage on the left, with a well-maintained lawn completing the picturesque setting.

Luxury 3-Bed Duplex | Pets, Lake Views, 2xParking

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were delighted with our stay at Fair Rigg (Windermere). There was plenty of space for the 7 of us as the apartment is spread over two floors with generously sized rooms. The lounge and kitchen felt bigger than they appeared in the photos! Everything is finished to a very high standard. You can see Lake Windermere from several windows in the property and there were some charming sheep just across the road. It is a short drive to most destinations including Beatrix Potter's house, Wray Castle, and Ambleside, all of which we visited, and the nearby Windermere pier where you can catch a boat ride on the lake as well as do some shopping. Communication with our host was excellent and very helpful (particularly when we couldn't find the dishwasher tablets or bin bags). We would be very happy to stay again.

Brandlehow *Hot Tub Hire Available*

IngaRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Charming big house in an incredible location We spent a week-long family vacation in this house and really enjoyed it. The location directly at the lake was amazing. Although it is very remote, we hardly used the car as there are a lot of nice walks you can do from the house. Additionally, there is a jetty just two minutes walking distance from the house where a ferry to Keswick stops. The house is nice and very large. while the kitchen is very cosy, the furniture in the rest of the house is rather basic and not particularly charming or stylish. It's all about the location.
