Dinah’s place is absolutely lovely .. such a beautiful cosy space with everything you need. The court yard space was fantastic to be able to sit outside and enjoy dinner and a drink ..will definitely be back

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

I booked Allison's place for 2 nights as a surprise trip for my husband. It was easy to find, the photos of the building were very useful and appreciated. The flat was lovely, clean, felt homely and comfortable, just minutes from the train and buses in one direction, the town in the other direction with many shops and restaurants. Allison responded quickly to a small query which was resolved immediately. I'd recommend her place to anyone staying in the Penrith area for easy accessibility to the lakes.

The Barn really is a gem. We were amazed as we arrived how beautiful and peaceful the surroundings were. Kate gave clear instructions how to get there which was really helpful as we found other times on our trip the sat nav led us astray! The barn is so cosy and beautifully furnished, you can tell it’s been done with love and is stylish but very practical too. Had everything we needed for our weekend stay. After a wet day out walking coming back to a hot shower and putting on the wood burner was amazing! We loved our stay and would absolutely come back.

fantastic place to stay! location was perfect for us, quite central in the town within walking distance to a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. the flat was lovely and modern, clean and well equipped for our stay. host responsive and helpful.

Just back from a great stay at The Loft. Felt recently renovated with a lot of care and thought. and to a high standard. The accommodation could not have been more perfect- immaculate, comfortable, spacious, very well resourced- everything you could need in the kitchen. Great shower, lovely furnishing, warm, just faultless! The only Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in with curtains that actually block out the light! Very peaceful and with beautiful gardens, woods and countryside immediately outside. Wish I’d had more time to explore! Victor was extremely responsive, and helpful in showing me how to use the job when I was being a bit clueless!

We stayed here for one night while attending a concert in town. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable, parking for one car available, and the place was very clean. We appreciated the snacks that were made available and enjoyed a small breakfast with what was provided. Such an added plus! Would have loved ground coffee instead of instant but it was just great to not have to go out. 19 minute walk to town - very doable. Shops, restaurants and entertainment just down the road. A pleasant stay.

Really cosy place right in the centre of town, perfect for a couple to spend some time in the Lake District at. Dale was a lovely host and was very responsive, always felt like we could talk to him if we needed anything but we didn’t need to thankfully because the place had everything we needed (even champagne in the fridge) and free parking was kindly provided for us. Would definitely stay again if I ever find myself in the area again!

Angela's place is cosy and comfortable, as close to the delightful town centre of Penrith as it is to the larger shops for all needed supplies and very near the lovely local park with castle ruins to explore. One word of wisdom for future visitors is that you do need to turn on the second pull switch in the bathroom to get the shower going, but after that it's a lovely warm shower too.

Had the most wonderful time. Peaceful location with the most spectacular view...photos don't do it justice! Housemartins provide daily entertainment. Laura was a friendly and responsive host. So much to do in the northern Lakes- planning a return!

Myself, my husband and our cocker spaniel found this a beautiful place to stay - even better than the photos! We found everything we might need for a cosy and comfortable few days, and the roll-top bath was the ultimate treat after cold, wet days on the fells! It was really convenient to walk into Kendal and to drive and explore the Eastern side of the beautiful Lake District. Trina was the perfect host - she had left lovely personal touches for our arrival, and was so helpful and kind throughout our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous apartment to anyone visiting the Lakes.

We loved staying at the apartment . It is beautiful. Modern decor and spotlessly clean . Correspondence was excellent . I will definitely book again on my next visit .

Nicole made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed and that we arrived safely. We felt very comfortable, and the location was perfect for excursions. We are very grateful that there are people who give us the opportunity to explore new places.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in the heart of Cartmel, overlooking the gorgeous Square. The apartment was spotless, and exactly like the pictures used to advertise on Airbnb. Scott was great in relation to keeping in contact, allowing us to check in easily and kept us updated re the village pass etc. so friendly! Thanks for the lovely treats left for us too, such a nice touch. I can’t recommend this place enough :) we attended the races but all year round it would be the perfect place to stay, thanks again Scott! Jenna, Christian & Zia (our springer spaniel) xx

We had a fantastic stay in the Lake District at Crafton! The host- Ray were super responsive and always prompt with communication. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some lovely touches, like milk and a cold cider in the fridge on arrival, made us feel really welcome. Ray, who lives downstairs, was great—he made sure we checked in without any issues. It’s a perfect spot for one or even two families exploring the Lake District. Highly recommended and definitely won’t disappoint!

Lovely airy apartment situated right on the square. Perfect for walking down to the river or a stroll through the village. The many bars and shops are within a very close proximity. And the beautiful milk parlour just below!

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

We loved our stay at Howe Tarn. It was the prefect base for exploring the Lakes. the accommodation was comfortable and very peaceful, and had everything we needed. Mark was proactive in checking on us and although we didn't need anything we were confident we would have got a swift response had we needed to ask anything. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place, would highly recommend. Great location and the flat itself was homely and clean. Fantastic hosts very friendly and great communication .

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂
