this is the second time staying here and it never disappoints lovely place to stay, great hosts I'd highly recommend a stay here.

A nice and neat place. Just as described and seen in the photos, and a good host to top it up.

Lovely house with everything you need to not have to worry about anything. Located near to wonderful pubs and restaurants and a short walk to the train station, with easy routes to both Bath and Bristol. We really enjoyed our stay and Alan & Alex were very friendly when we did have an interaction with them. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hussel and bussel of a busy town or city.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is spotless, super comfortable, and felt like a real home away from home. It was perfect for our little one, there were so many toys to play with, books and even a barn outside which was a huge hit. The surrounding nature is stunning and so peaceful, we enjoyed every moment. The hosts were genuinely kind and helpful, we felt very welcome. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

wow wow...what a wonderful place. we were welcomed by Sara who was full of local information and Flo the cocker spaniel who greeted us like we were old friends. John filled in the gaps with the history of the house and surrounding landscape. we were very lucky with the weather and were able to fully appreciate swimming in the river and sitting out enjoying watching mo the lawnmower weaving across the immaculate garden. We enjoyed walks from the door and visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury via the local bus service. we couldn't have asked for a better holiday than this. it was truly amazing and we felt totally chilled by the end of it. Thank you Sara and John for making us feel so welcome and sharing your home and garden with us. We cannot fault anything and will most definately be back.

We had a lovely stay at Victoria’s! The house was spotless and had everything we needed including baby things (travel cot, high chair and stair gate). The garden was completely enclosed which meant we were able to let the dogs off their leads while we sat outside. And wow the garden is a real sun trap! I would recommend the Barford Inn (4 min) walk for good pub grub and a nice outdoor area. We also spent the afternoon in the grounds of Wilton House which has a fantastic playground for toddlers and kids and a lovely cafe. Three nights wasn’t long enough so we’re hoping to come back in the near future!

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it certainly set a high standard. We only stayed the one night for visiting Stonehenge but would gladly have stayed longer. The property was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely use again if in the area.

This property is in such a beautiful village, that we never wanted to leave! The space is bright and airy, w/everything needed to be comfy. There’s a binder w/everything you need to know, plus info about the 2 local pubs & dining options, etc. (Thurs. night at the Catherine Wheel is a MUST!). You won’t find anything remotely touristy in the village, which is why we loved it so, but it’s perfectly situated for easy drives to Bath, the Cotswolds, Diddly Squat Farm & The Farmer’s Dog (for Top Gear/Jeremy Clarkson fans), and so much more! Check out Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton for a truly fantastic outing! The Goat Shed has a double gate behind which you and your vehicle are safe and secure (although there’s no need for concern of that in Marshfield!). A grass lawn awaits your pet or children to play in, with zero risk of danger or escape. These 2 ladies from Canada and the U.S highly recommend a stay here (just bring a face cloth, as that was the only thing missing)!

Louise’s place was lovely, as described. Perfect location for walking all over Bath. Easy 10 minute walk from train station. Beautiful, thoughtfully furnished apartment. Would absolutely stay again.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

This is an excellent location! Taxi stand across the street and of course the train station, about 10 minutes to Bath on the train. It was clean and tidy, and a good kitchen, everything you need, with a Sainsbury express right across the street to stock up. I did not have a car, but there is parking. And you can walk over the train tracks to the pub, the Old Road Tavern.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and a beautiful garden! Everything was spotlessly clean and there was more provided than I expected. Lucy is a fantastic host! I highly recommend this lovely place in a picturesque part of the country.

We had a wonderful stay at Lara's place and felt very at home Lara replied to any questions straight away and sorted any issues promptly and efficiently. There's a beautiful garden at the back with a separate space for guests which we used regularly and a safe place to store our bicycles which I recommend taking if you have them as the canal is lovely for easy rides on that point we rode to Devizes for the Thursday market be warned there is a stall selling hams cheeses etc we bought two lovely looking pork pies from them when we got back to put them in the fridge I noticed that they were two days out of date so had to bin them 😢 otherwise had a lovely day. In the Devizes direction on the canal tow path is The Barge Inn about a 50 minute walk for a 67 years old like me very nice but all ways busy but just up the road is the Brewery Inn and the food is excellent looking it up on Google maps it looks small from the front but if the weather is good has a large beer garden at the back

amazing place and beautiful town.. we loved the flat so well decorated such a good feel had everything we needed in the kitchen etc cooked both nights we were there and felt very at home 10/10 the town is also lovely so many cute shops and cafes lovely couple of nights :)

If you want to experience living in a place that is wattle-and-daub old, with wide, yellow planks of flooring (wonderful patina), dark wood timbers in white ceiling -- and wake to birdsong and the clatter of the man downstairs quietly preparing to open the fruit and veg store (great produce) in The Shambles -- this is the place. (Do come in early June, for the birdsong -- and the cherries from Spain at the fruit-and-veg stand!) Bradford-on-Avon is really lovely. Not too precious, not overrun with tourists, not as busy as Bath. Long walks along the canal, a chance to see a canal lock in actual use. This AirBnB is perfect. All the amenities are updated and shipshape -- stove top, washing machine, shower, toilet. The decor is tasteful and easy on the eye. I can even recommend the iron and ironing board (!) -- both solid, the iron heavy and up to the task.

This was my second stay at The Rafters - I'd been hoping to come back since my first visit because both BOA and the flat are so lovely. The loft space with the bed is my favourite. Thank you Anna!

We had an awesome stay at Linda's place. We've already been here twice and felt right at home each time. The place is super clean and tidy, city centre isn't far at all and we had our own parking space. Linda is always so kind and friendly. She even left snacks and drinks for us ❤️

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

A beautiful, well equipped apartment with very friendly hosts. Lovely position by the river and in a very peaceful setting. Would definitely recommend without a doubt!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

Great location, just over Pulteney Bridge so nice and quiet at nighttime but very easy to walk over to the main attractions during the day. Lots of great restaurants etc. very close by too. The apartment itself is impressive! The scale is larger than the photos, all very spaced out with lots of room. The design is great and everything was spotless. The kitchen had amenities to be able to cook at home. Great window coverings to allow complete blockout at night, however also allowed through flow of air during the day. As advertised, it is upstairs, so something to note. We were made aware there were renovation works on the apartment upstairs, however they were all conducted in normal construction hours and we barely heard any noise. Overall, peaceful and so enjoyable, we would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great flat in good location, short walk to the center of Bath. Light and spotlessly clean with lots of nice touches.

Beautiful apartment and fantastic location ! This apartment is like a 5 star hotel Comfy beds and spotlessly clean this apartment has it all ! Right next to Bath Abbey , Roman baths and Spa Everything Bath has to offer on your door step. Easy access from Bath Spa train station also We have stayed many times in Bath but usually stay in hotels but not anymore !!
