Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

We had a wonderful stay with our 6 month old baby. Ideal location for the beach, just a short walk down the hill. Also only a short walk to the amenities. Very dog friendly. The host was responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Had such a relaxing stay and especially loved the view from the master bedroom. We would love to return. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Had a lovely stay here. Home is well equipped and cosy, a great location with beautiful views. Loved having my morning coffee by the river. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

This is a haven of tranquility. Walk through the doors and you feel at home. So beautifully decorated, absolutely perfect in every way. We are keen cooks, love to spend time in the kitchen making meals and enjoying company of friends. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with all you need. Peter is an outstanding host and offers support instantly. We had a slight glitch with the internet (not Peter’s fault!) and he was so helpful and supportive. We love the place. Seriously LOVE! We will be back and look forward to being back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway! The location was amazing, so many shops and dining spots just steps away. The home itself had lots of character and a beautiful view, and was perfectly set up for a family with kids. We were able to find a spot in a parking lot close to the house even on a busy Saturday. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful cottage. Great care had been taken with the decor, fittings and appliances and everything was in perfect working order. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a lovely welcome message when we arrived and some delicious ginger biscuits were waiting on the kitchen counter. The cottage is ideally situated with just a two minute walk to the cliff top coastal path and a short drive to the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs where we achieved our goal of seeing puffins . I am so pleased I chose this particular property

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is located perfectly for visits to the coast and local towns and villages. The courtyard garden was secure for the dog and lovely to sit in the sunshine. The cottage had everything we needed and Adrian was really helpful. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s cottage in Whitby. It was absolutely perfect for myself, my family, and our dog. The location is ideal — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to a lovely local pub and beautiful surroundings to explore. The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already looking at dates to book again — highly recommend!

Where to begin?! We initially wanted to book Dovedale House for the whole family but after contacting Fran, she explained that one of the beds would be too small for 2 adults.. fear not! Fran contacted the B&B next door and got my in-laws booked in there, problem solved! The house was absolutely immaculate and pristine. It really was a home from home! There really isn’t anything more I can say, it was just PERFECT! We really enjoyed sitting on the swing in the mornings with a cuppa and watching the cows and deer in the field opposite. Dovedale House really is a gem and I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Huge thankyou to Fran for everything you did to make this trip happen for us. The Aitkens, Scotts and Forresters xx

The cottage was spotless. It was right in the centre of Whitby. The car park was literally a two minute walk around the corner from it, very centrallocation, lovely location. highly recommended staying here.

Wonderfully located right by the Minster, this apartment was great for our family.

Stayed 3 nights and what can I say . . . . . amazing! From opening the door you felt right at home. The kitchen was fantastic. All pots, plates, utensils, mugs, glasses you could ever need. We were here with our 2 grown up kids and mother-in-law. The kids cooked on 2 nights which was a treat while we sat outside by the river at the table and chairs. Added bonus of further furniture upstairs on the living room balcony. Was also brill to have 3 toilets and 2 showers. The apartment is right next to the cinder track. Great quiet location. One way to Robin Hoods Bay (6 miles) and the other into Whitby (easy 20 mins walk). My son ran the Cinder track Parkrun which was about 10 min walk to the start. We walked to Sandsend and back one day and Robin Hoods Bay another getting the bus back. Both lovely places to visit. Added bonus on our weekend people were bungee jumping from viaduct. Thought they must be mad, but a great watch. Thank you. We all loved it.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and this accommodation was the best by far! It was spotlessly clean and all the fixtures and fittings were very high end. Excellently located to enable touring from Flamborough Head to Staithes and inland to the North York Moors. The view from the property was superb, looking towards the sea and Scarborough Castle and it was very peaceful. Angela and Richard were wonderful hosts and I felt that by the end of our stay we had become good friends. We highly recommend a stay here.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Barn. The property was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden as well as the house was spacious and both felt very private and tastefully appointed and allowed us a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring this part of North Yorkshire where there is so much to see and do.

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

The Old Watch House is a beautiful property in a stunning location. we spent a wonderful week there and enjoyed every minute. Clare was easy to communicate with, and was very helpful, sending on information that assisted us. The chocolate and fizz was a lovely touch, too. I'd highly recommend a stay here. We had a great weekend at the Pirates Palace. The house is quirky & well equipped. The beds are so comfortable & the pillows are so soft. The stairs up to the loft rooms are a bit steep so would not be easy if you have mobility issues. The house is conveniently situated within a short walk into town. There is a large Co op, bars & restaurants. The station is at the bottom of the road if you are travelling by train. Would recommend taking the Big Yellow Bus tour up to the Abbey ruins it was interesting to hear all the little snippets of how Whitby was back in the day. The bus stops by the Co op. Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes & Runswick are all worth a visit but very steep, be prepared to give your legs,heart & lungs a good work out!! A good time was had by all
