We had an amazing stay. Spotlessly clean with quality furnishings and comfy beds. The location is beautiful and being enclosed is ideal for pets and children. We would love to stay again

Lovely little cabin in the country of Yorkshire, close to Dalby forest. The cabin comes equipped with everything you would need. The highlight is the hot tub. If you turn off the fairy lights, the stars are visible through the sky. Perfect area to stay as its in between towns and not too far of a drive for shops etc but still out of the way to be peaceful. The cabin is at the back of a property, which isn't too far away so not as private as I initially anticipated, however with that being said it's a lovely place to stay and I would recommend ☺️

The family and I thoroughly enjoyed Rambling Cottage. Beautiful cottage in a great location and very accessible. It was a great space for us to base ourselves for a long weekend exploring what the North York Moors had to offer. Highly recommend. Michael, Laura, Elsa and Eddie

What a place and what a host! Feels like we’ve found a gem. The location is simply stunning and so peaceful! The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a real treat and the views - just wow! If you are looking for a retreat close to all the highlights of the cost - this is the place. Steve is an absolute super star. The kids loved him and he couldn’t do enough for us - filling the fridge with goodies, lending the kids fossil hammers and just being so helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and getting to know the two dogs. They were in tears when we had to leave. We will be back and have left feeling so rested, relaxed and happy! As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

I had a wonderful stay here for my 35th birthday. Such a beautiful home with amazing amenities. The host was very quick to respond when there was an issue, and we would definitely love to come back in the future. The hot tub and bbq made our stay!

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

Thank you Lisa! From the moment we arrived we settled straight in. Everything we could possibly need from all kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, plenty of extra towels, bedding, cleaning products, toilet rolls, even a toothbrush in the little bathroom drawer! We loved the garden and even enjoyed picking apples from the tree and cooking them. I have already recommended your lovely house to other people and would definitely return if in the area. Thank you

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

What a super town house with warm and cosy feel! So conveniently located to the beach and the town, with lovely restaurants, bars and shops within 2 minute walk. Our little spaniel was super happy there too as so many shops and eateries were dog friendly. Highlights were Cranberry Swamp for breakfast and Mr Cooper’s Coffee House both of which catered for meat and vegan eaters with delicious food at a great price. Walk up to the Abbey and enjoy yummy pizza and beer from the brewery there too! Fabulous stay in a lovely home from home! We’ll be back if you’ll have us 🤔😊

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Really good spot. Great for the city and them 10mins walk to the countryside and walks. The place was more like a upmarket hotel suite than your normal airbnb. Karen answered all our query's immediately and was a good guide for restaurants and pubs. The place was immaculate. Really. really immaculate! Highly recommended.

This was the perfect place for a peaceful weekend retreat. With no TV to distract me and gorgeous countryside full of daffodils and signs of spring to enjoy, it was just what I needed to be restored. Gaynor was helpful with recommendations, and the walks were beautiful from the front door. The fresh bread was delicious from the bakery next door and the bookcase had some wonderful books to dip into. I will be recommending it to my friends.

The bungalow well exceeded our expectations, the holiday park is a lovely little complex. Amenities were great, there was nothing we felt was missing, the house has been fitted out to a very high standard. Beds comfortable and the rooms dark and very quiet at night. Filey is a 2 mile walk if you go via the beach. The section of beach near the site is lovely and sandy. Pool and steam room were very clean with long opening hours. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

This was our first experience with an air b&b and we were a little unsure as to what to expect. In a nutshell, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The cottage is utterly beautiful both inside and out, it couldn’t have been any cleaner and every time we realised we needed something, there it was - they’ve genuinely thought of everything! It’s so well equipped, from cutlery, to dvds, to toys… even down to little things like plasters! It’s honestly a home from home and the only negative we have is that we had to leave! The onsite pub is nice and where several have thought it expensive, we actually thought it was reasonably priced - especially when children eat for £1 with a paying adult main! Absolutely beautiful place and we will be recommending it to anyone who will listen! Thanks so much for the wonderful memories!

A Lovely Stay at Collie Cottage, Filey We had a wonderful couple of nights at Collie Cottage with our 18-month-old and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Filey. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is great—peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach. Our toddler loved having space to toddle about safely, and the cottage had everything we needed, including a travel cot and high chair which made things so much easier. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack and the clear, helpful communication from the hosts. It’s obvious a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We’d happily return and would definitely recommend Collie Cottage to anyone visiting Filey, especially young families.

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable short (post New Year) 3 night stay. The only problem being an issue with bedroom tv system. Amy tried to get this resolved promptly and it wasn't a real priority for us. Other than that, everything was fine. She always responded promptly to any queries and was able to allow some flexibility regarding check-in/departure times, which was appreciated.

We had a great stay at the cottage. All of the rooms are just like the photos. It was really clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is really well looked after. Just a short walk to the beach, then you can be in Filey in 40 minutes. It was really peaceful and the area offers a tennis court, swimming pool and other activities. Would definitely stay again.
