Monthly Rentals in West Stonesdale

We stayed at The Bakehouse for a couple of nights as a little birthday celebration for our daughter. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is immaculately well kept and has obviously been renovated with love and attention to detail. It has everything you could need, there was even a special little bag of items for the dog. The cottage is just as described and if anything the rooms were larger than we anticipated. Beds were comfy, everything worked, the bath / shower was always hot and although we had no need of the log burner it was comforting to know it was ready to go. Loads of beautiful local walks and scenery, farm shops abound, and eye tests at Barnard Castle are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to friends and we hope to visit again. We had a fantastic stay in Diane’s cottage. It’s a lovely place, very well equipped, and in a great location for exploring the area. Communication with Diane beforehand was really easy, and she provided plenty of useful information and tips. We loved Hawes, and indeed the many places around it. We will definitely return, and if so, wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Diane’s cottage again.

We loved spending the week at Mark and Kath’s place! The cottage was so comfortable and rooms were decorated beautifully with thoughtful touches. The dining room had a lot of sunlight during the day and the fireplace made the living room warm and cozy in the evenings. Gunnerside is a wonderful village with walks right out of the town center and easy access to many other towns and walks in the Yorkshire Dales. We would love to come back here one day!

Very well presented clean and well equipped unusual in it's location. We wanted for nothing and was exactly as described The pub was handy beer and food very good Beautiful area with lovely walks from the doorstep. Would not hesitate to go again Clinton Miriam
