Beachfront vacation rentals in West LA

Our stay was great! Martin's place is close to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of street parking. We loved relaxing in the front yard. We'd definitely stay there again.

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

Anna was a great host—very responsive and attentive. Her home was spotless and a fantastic deal for the location! Easy, walkable access to the whole property. Will definitely return!

It was an amazing place to stay with beautiful rooftop views. Clifton was very helpful with checking and with any questions I had. Although beware. Like other reviews the only thing is there is at of stairs as every rooms and living room are on separate floors. It’s definitely not a complaint for me but you can find it tiring after a long day out. There was clean linens, towels, and toiletries available. Has a gas stove that worked great with some pans included that we made French toast with. The area also great and felt safe 24/7. It had garage parking which is great as the area can fill up during the day time with people going to the beach. I’d highly recommend the place, especially if staying for multiple days or with other people. It’s a great roomy location that I hope to be able to return to sometime.

The Cali Blue Bus was the perfect base setup for a weekend music festival I attended. The area was super quiet when I returned each evening. It was a very neat and unique experience for sure. You can hear and see the ocean out of the windows or close the curtains and have plenty of privacy. Would definitely recommend it for people to stay.

Great location close to the beach. Kitchen well stocked! Plenty of towels. Comfy beds and a washer and dryer was great. Street noise is loud, but you can’t hear it inside or by the ocean! Lots of nice extra touches, sleep masks, ear plugs, sound machines. Beach toys were great for the kids!! Our family of 8 had plenty of spots to sit, eat and sleep!

Great beach location, very spacious, two private parking spots and walkable to everything in Seal Beach. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The building is a work-in-progress. The amenities (kitchen, bathrooms) are definitely older but everything worked and what was nice were the bed linens and towel. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. There is a laundry room with W/D. Fun family place or for 3 couples!

Our return stay at California Dreamin’ was just as relaxing and fun as our first visit. The home is spacious and comfortable, and is well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked (chocolates and dog treats!) Susan is a responsive and helpful host, and the location is unbeatable—easy walk to beaches and downtown (if you can tear yourself away from the balcony!) We’ll be back again.

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Unfortunately didn’t get to stay in this exact Airbnb due to a maintenance issue. But Larry did everything he could do to make sure I had appropriate accommodation, was easy to communicate with, and even still gave me access to the sauna and rooftop pool. Thanks for helping me have a great trip Larry!

We had a good stay in Tony's apartment. It's a nice peaceful space in a great neighborhood. Everything met our expectations - would recommend.

Great place to stay. Close to everything! Very clean and Peter is very kind and friendly. He is very fast and responsive. The place is exactly as shown and it’s a great place to enjoy the city but enjoy the sites and has the marina as a great view! Thanks Peter!

Melody's place at the Malibu Outrigger is a total gem - peaceful and private, with the sound of crashing waves. Access to the clean, private beach couldn't be easier (head down to the ground floor and it's steps from there), and the pool, jacuzzi and lounge area on the grounds are all well-maintained and comfortable. Great jumping-off point for exploring Malibu (a plaza about a mile down the road has a ton of great shops and restaurants, including Howdy's and Taverna Tony).

Yese was a very responsive and helpful host. The building is huge but very quiet and we hardly saw anyone in the hallway. The apartment was very clean. Safe and convenient location for a mother and teen traveling - easy access to the local freeway, Ralph Supermarket and Starbucks were a 5 min walk away. The parking lot was a bit of a maze but once you drive through once or twice, you know where to go and which elevators to take. The only con is the pillows! The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows need to be updated/upgraded. Overall, a great stay.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

Absolutely gorgeous. Loved hearing the waves crashing at night. Dolphins and seals right in front of the property. Amazing food all around within walking distance. The strand was so cool too. Kristina was an amazing host too. Way above and beyond. Thanks so much!!!

The house is in a great location with all the amenities you would want, as well as multiple bikes, boogie boards, beach toys and towels. Perfect for a family stay. It is an easy walk to the beach, good restaurants, or biking on the strand. Montie was very helpful and responsive, making sure we knew how to get in and operate everything. Great home for a family beach getaway.

Loved our stay at Manhattan Beach! Love this location, close to the strand and beach. Restaurants are walkable. Host was clear and responsive. Would definitely rent here again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. One of the things we appreciated most was how easy and smooth the entryway to the house was. We had seen a previous review mentioning that the walk in and out was uneven, but we found that to be completely inaccurate. The path was well-maintained, level, and very easy to navigate, even with luggage in tow. It was a seamless experience from start to finish. The interior of the home was just as delightful as the exterior. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the linens were fresh and high-quality, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook.

Aaron and Chers Manhattan Beach house is absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone. The beds were insanely comfortable, the house was spotless, having a garage is perfect! Loved the view from the upstairs room and the terrace. The house was equipped with everything we needed included beach toys for the kids and a coffee machine for us. Aaron and Cher were such lovely and accommodating hosts. Really cute, peaceful place just a couple blocks from the beach. Very quiet and relaxing for being so close to the beach. Lovely little enclosed patio. We were always able to find parking within a few blocks. We would absolutely stay here again.
