Incredible place to stay with great amenities

We truly enjoyed our stay and everything was exactly as described! It is the perfect location for a retreat in the mountains. The entire home was something out of a storybook!

Booked last minute (day before check-in) after hotel canceled our reservation. This was way better than a hotel! House is in a great location between Blowing Rock and Boone on a short private street. Everything was neat and clean. Easy self check-in and no ridiculous check-out rules. We barely used the kitchen but looked like it was well supplied for cooking full meals. We will keep this on our list for possible future stays while our daughter attends App State.

This house is cozy and beautiful. It made our girls trip with a couple of kiddos so much more special. Toddler and infant friendly and the interior is designed beautifully.

My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

If you think to yourself I wonder if this air bnb has xyz it does. The host is very proactive in having anything you might need at your fingertips. The kitchen is very well stocked any quality items. You might ask yourself - will I be able to hear cars in the road? And to be honest we hardly even noticed them. Having noise machines in each room was also a nice touch. We loved that it was close to Tweetsie and Blowing Rock. If you have kids you gotta check out the memorial park in downtown Blowing Rock. Our kids played there almost everyday after dinner.

My husband and I were able to bring our 2 dogs on a little honeymoon to Blue Spruce and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Since it is roughly 20 minutes to just get out of the community to any local stores it makes you feel okay to chill at the house and have some much needed lazy time! The community is great to walk the dogs around with winding roads and hills making for a good workout without even having to go somewhere to hike! Plus the hot tub was such a nice way to unwind each evening! That was our favorite part! If you’re taking your dogs check out the Boone humane society dog park-it was great! Connie was extremely responsive and friendly from the beginning! I loved the guide to answer any and all questions about our stay! Genius! The whole trip went so smoothly thanks to Connie 😊

The solar farmhouse was a wonderful weekend getaway in Valle Crucis! The house is laid out perfectly and has plenty of space. Listening to the creek from the porch or through the screened windows while in the kitchen was definitely a highlight. We also took advantage of a rugged hiking trail into Bear Paw natural area at the end of Dutch Creek Rd. Overall, just a great mountain trip!

Amy’s place was perfect! Exactly as shown in photos, had everything we could’ve possibly needed, & she left water bottles on the counter for our arrival :) We had a quick one night stay and Amy’s rental was great for us.

We loved the place. It is a very short drive to Blowing Rock. The apartment was perfect and very private. We loved the patio and hot tub. We will come back in the fall and try the fire pit. Everything was perfect. Thanks Jenna and Kurt!

Great location! Minutes from everything, easy check in, and great hosts.

Johnny’s place offered everything I needed and more for a night. It’s easy to walk into and around the little town Banner Elk, but it also has beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Johnny and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my visit!

The BEST AirBnB we have ever stayed at! Jaw dropping views, convenient location, beautifully remodeled, peaceful location that’s easy to access AND dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for more! Walking distance to a wonderful coffee shop and brewery at the base of the resort. The unit had everything a pet owner would need provided and a fully functioning kitchen + accessories to make cooking a breeze. We stayed during the summer but this would be an UNBEATABLE location for skiing. Matt was incredibly communicative and so helpful during our stay - he even provided a locals guide before arrival! My ONLY complaint (and nothing the host can control) is that if you’re staying around June 2025 they are working on the building in front of the unit, so during the weekday there is construction noise starting around 7:30. We will be frequent visitors to this spot and have already recommended it to all of our friends and family!

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

We always enjoy staying here! It’s our go-to place on Beech Mountain. Super-comfortable beds. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the deer while we have coffee in the morning. Michelle is a gracious host and an excellent communicator. Thanks again for another great stay!

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

Kyle was helpful and responsive. The place was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. My friend and I had a girl’s weekend and wanted different rooms (because we like to sleep in opposite temperature) and this fit us perfectly. We each had our own bathroom and the beds were very comfy. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry option too. The directions were easy and Banner Elk is a 5 minute walk. The best part was the 180 degree view! I miss it already and didn’t want to leave! There were deer outside our window both days so that was a bonus. We would stay here again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful location! I’ve been wanting to check out the Art of Living retreat center and staying here was a perfect way to explore without having to attend a retreat. It’s just a short walk from the cafeteria, and there’s lots of drop in activities on the campus. It was stunning and perfect for a recharge!

Melissa was a great host with a great place! Generally I find issues with hotels and had a bad experience with my last BnB... but this one was extra perfect. Everything was as described and check-in/out was super easy. Thanks Melissa, best to you always!

I really enjoyed my stay. The view of Grandfather Mountain was beautiful and peaceful. The thoughtful decor of the condo felt welcoming and modern. The location is great as a base for hiking and outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Downtown Boone is about 15-20 minutes away, which has cute stores and some good restaurants. I liked Kimberly and Lauren’s food recommendations of The Cardinal and Lost Province.

This place is in a beautiful area. It's private and quiet surrounded by nature's wonder. Every morning I woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the balcony with my coffee listening to the birds sing. I slept on the sofa bed facing the balcony and it was comfortable. My kids enjoyed the bed in the bedroom. We made breakfast and dinner and enjoyed how comfortable and cozy the ambiance felt in this condo. I took morning walks nearby. Otter falls is nearby and you can hear the creek from the balcony. The condo was very clean and had the basic necessities for our weekend stay. Definitely coming back again.

This was the perfect getaway we were looking for. The owners did an absolutely great job at providing clear and precise details on how to get to the unit. Additionally, it was helpful that they mentioned that there was no AC so that we could bring our own fans with us. The location had a beautiful scenery in the morning. Also, there was even some wildlife that we spotted from the porch during our morning coffee. The little touches of coffee being provided and dog toys for our Happy boy was very sweet. We would definitely stay here again
