Katherine's cottage is pure joy. Her artistic and fun spirit has embued it with originality. Fully equipped, comfortable with high-end eco friendly toiletries, in a historic setting with delightful views, ideally suited for exploring Sussex and the South Downs, walk out the front door to easy parking and out the back to take a stroll across peaceful fields. Super helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to have Katherine as our host.

Joanne was the perfect host in every way. I loved just be out in the countryside, the peace and solitude of the farm. Plus, it was a bonus meeting Coco and Buttons the donkeys! Will definitely return.

Alison is a wonderful host who made me feel very welcome. The welcome Prosecco was a very nice touch and the loan of garden loungers on a warm day was very appreciated. I had a wonderful stay with my daughter and my dog and we had some lovely walks. The weather in April was beautiful and as it was early in the season the site was very quiet so we could take full advantage of the countryside. Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and polite and the facilities in the bungalow were really good and very helpful as I was between homes waiting to move. The fenced garden was particularly useful for my dog but also gave us a sense of privacy. I would not hesitate to recommend Tawney's and would happily return in the future.
