Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Flanders

For our first family weekend we couldn't find a better holiday home like the Odizee. Beautifully decorated in maritime style and everything you need for a fantastic stay with children. There is a garden with sun all day and all the comforts are available: a bath, shower, equipped kitchen with island, you name it! The house is in perfect new condition and all kid-proof! 5 thick stars 🙏

Xavier was very communicative in the build up to our trip. On arrival we met him in person and he was very friendly and had provided good information verbally and in writing about useful shops and directions etc. The place had lots of room, very comfy sofa and beds. Lovely garden. Also some games available at the house. Great location to walk into the Bruges city centre, about a 20 minute walk. Would recommend to others. Bruges is a wonderful city to visit.

Fantastic stay. The holiday home has everything needed and more! Travelling with a baby and a 3 year old was made easy as Fillip had absolutely everything. The home is in beautiful surroundings, easy to find and great base for visiting Ypres, Bruges and Ghent. Fillip and his family were welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I highly reccomend!

We loved our family weekend in the Duinenhuisje. Communication with the owner went very smoothly . We were welcomed by the friendly neighbor ( given the owner was absent) and had a tour with all the necessary explanations. The house is cozy, very practically furnished and very neat and the garden is ideal for young and old. The location and the tranquility is also top. It is highly recommended. Certainly subject to repetition.

Everything as described. Beautiful house and ideal for those who want to stay in large spaces. About a half-hour walk from the center of Bruges in a quiet and easily accessible neighborhood. Complete in-home services. A real stay🔝. Friendly and responsive host, always available. Highly recommended !!!

We had a lovely weekend with friends. The children thought the pool was fantastic.

We loved our stay. BLISSFUL!!! Something for us at all. Spacious enclosed garden. Ideal for the dogs. For a visit to the beach ( with small children or older dogs) it is best to take the car because it is still a bit of walking to the sea. Thanks to Isabelle's tip, also went to the quieter side of the beach as we don't like the crowds so much. And also much quieter for our dogs. We will definitely be back!

Julie was very helpful from the moment we booked, up until checking out. She sent very detailed instructions (even a video on how to get to the parking space!) and it honestly made the entire experience much smoother, especially with 2 toddlers. The place was as described and the kitchen appliances like kettle and coffee maker were available although we only used the microwave and the stove top. The place had a cot, a high chair and a child toilet seat which all came in very handy. Would highly recommend, especially for a smaller family.

The apartment met our expectations, everything was very clean. Everything necessary is available. You felt right at home and welcome. A Senseo was available as a coffee maker. Perfect for us. The good and fast contact with the landlord, who is always directly at your side with help and advice, is particularly noteworthy. The associated private parking space is also worth its weight in gold. In the area you can't park anywhere for free and in the season all parking spaces are often occupied. We were very pleased and would come back any time. Full recommendation from us!

Perfect stay in this apartment with the beach at our feet. An enchanting break for our family with this magnificent view of the horizon and sunsets. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. We would love to be able to come back to enjoy the charm of the area! Jean is an attentive and very responsive host.

Great stay for families at Verena's. Easy, very effective communication. The apartment is well equipped and as described. The sea view from the living room is very nice. There are activities and shops nearby.

The place is great! Very nicely furnished and plenty of room for all guests. You are right on the beach and can also quickly take the train to Bruges!

It was great we loved this house so much, and the beach location was so fun.

Super localized apartment - cuistax, dike, beach and shops nearby. It's super convenient to have parking space as well. The apartment matches the photos and description. We also appreciated the fact that it was very hot in the living room (in the middle of winter), the games for the children, the fact that there is a shower and a bath in the bathroom. And the Emma mattress: Confo ++++

Everything was fine, just as described! Clean apartment and ideal location. Close to the beach, the Christmas market and the shopping street. Hanne kept us informed of how to get in and she also sent a message regularly during the stay. Highly recommended!

Just a shutter that didn't work

I had such a lovely stay at Mylene's apartment, it's a great place to have the best of being beside the sea for some peace and the town a few minutes walk, tram stop behind the apartment too which was very handy! it's very comfortable, so we'll equipped too :) highly recommend you book in with Mylene if you are looking for accomodation in Belguim :)

Apartment a little out of the way, but excellent for horse lovers (view of the racecourse), an extra place to rest, bedding and impeccable cleanliness, it was very nice. Brigitte communicated the instructions to get there very clearly, very nice to be able to count on Brigitte's flexibility and responsiveness if there are any questions. Thanks for hosting us! 🌞

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

We had an amazing stay at Sea View! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the seaside, and the views were incredible. Zara was a wonderful host, very responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Our daughter especially loved the kids’ room, which was beautifully set up and made her feel right at home. The parking option made things so convenient too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely return for our next trip to Knokke-Heist. Highly recommend Sea View to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly experience by the sea!

We had a wonderful time at Ruth's apartment in Blankenberge. The apartment is very well equipped and offers a fantastic view of the sea – a real highlight, especially at sunset. Thanks to the ideal location, we were able to commute easily with the coastal train between Knokke and De Haan, which made our excursions along the Belgian coast very convenient. Bruges was also quick and easy to reach. Ruth is a very friendly and helpful hostess who makes you feel welcome immediately. We would come back anytime!
