Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in West Flanders

Fantastic location and as good as what everybody else said before us. You feel at home, the fridge and food for breakfast was unreal and plentiful! Igor was super responsive and gave us good tips for local restaurants which was great! Highly recommend it

We loved this place, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet but within walking distance of the center of Bruges! Breakfast was amazing! We would highly recommend it!

Mieke and her husband Erwin welcomed us very warmly, well advised. We took the wonderful breakfast together, they were interested in what we experienced. Very, very loving!

We had a wonderful stay with Amaryllis. The house is unique and beautifully decorated, set in a quiet yet very central location. Like most tall ceiling houses the staircases were a little steep but this just adds to the charm. Breakfast was served in her airy dining room with lots of thought put in. Amaryllis and her mother were very welcoming and hospitable. We will be back!!

This is the most wonderful and satisfying experience I have had since using airbnb, so I would like to thank the host Nathalie for providing us with such high quality and comfortable service.How should I describe this wonderful place?I think it's best to start from its location.Indeed, it is not located in the center of Brussels Old Town, and it can be said to be on the edge of the Old Town, but it is not remote for tourists. It is only 600 meters to the most central Market Square. You can walk all the way from the street at the door without turning.Walking in the opposite direction of the city center, less than 100 meters away is the green park surrounding the old city, which is a great place for morning and evening walks.The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the train station. If you have luggage and it is not convenient to walk, there are three free shuttle buses every hour, and the station is only 70 meters from the apartment door.As for the apartment itself, it is really a very unique place, it is three in one - the shop on the first floor (behind is the restaurant and kitchen), the owner's room on the second floor (the shower room and toilet are in the hallway, outside is the terrace), and the room on the third floor.Hostess Nathalie is a text craft artist. This house is her studio. The shop on the first floor displays and sells crafts she made herself. She lives on the second floor and converted the attic on the third floor into a guest room to receive tourists from all over the world.Nathalie has put a lot of thought and effort into the renovation and decoration of this house, not to mention the studio and shop, from the overall style and color selection and matching, the kitchen countertop, the selection of tableware, to the drawing and baking of the tile pattern next to the bathroom sink, as well as the lace sheets her mother made for the room, not only can you appreciate her style and taste, but also see how much she loves life.She has carefully depicted her love for life and the city of Bruges in the travel guides for her guests, from attractions to restaurants, from shopping streets to specialty shops, from Belgian fries and waffles to chocolate shops, everything is meticulously thought out.Every guest who reads this information will become a travel expert in Brussels.Finally, the hostess Nathalie herself, what an elegant, wise, hardworking, enthusiastic, and approachable woman.Breakfast time every day is the most anticipated and most enjoyable time for us.Nathalie personally cooks us local specialty breakfasts every day, although not as rich as the English or continental breakfasts in the hotel, but we enjoy her dedication and casual conversation with her more.Our conversations are all over the place, but our core values are surprisingly consistent - love of life, openness, tolerance, and understanding.When I said goodbye, I sincerely told Nathalie that she was welcome to travel to China. Although I might not be able to do half of what she can, I am willing to help her as much as I can.Finally, I'd like to say thank you to Nathalie for leaving a warm color and memories for our journey.

Had a wonderful stay after a visit to Bruge. Travelling as 2 adults, 3 kids, there was lots of space and bedrooms were fantastic. Jan was so kind to us, and incredibly kind to our children, especially as we woke up on Easter Sunday. They arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children as we had arrived totally unprepared for Easter as had been on a road trip for the past 2 weeks. The kids also loved the chickens and the garden. Lots of lovely little touches, and to they gave us lots of recommendations of places to eat, and what to do on the next stage of our trip through Belgium. Would thoroughly recommend, especially for family's.

Excellent accommodation and host. 10 minute walk to central area

we only stayed one night at Jans place we arrived around 8.30pm. its a very lovely cottage, everything there you could want, comfy beds, hot water and a wood burning stove if you wanted to light it, the stairs to the upstairs are very steep so be aware going up and down, both bedrooms have a tv and onsuite bathrooms, plus a downstairs toilet, plenty of room for the dogs and places to walk, bonus was we found a just eat delivery online.

This place is really great! Very good location since we could access all the museums/activities and the city center on foot. Ann welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of information and recommendations about the city. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. The rooms are very pretty and are perfect for couples. I highly recommend this listing!
