Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Flanders

Voor ons eerste familieweekend konden we geen beter vakantiehuis treffen als de Odizee. Prachtig ingericht in maritieme stijl en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fantastischverblijf met kindjes. Er is een tuintje bij met de hele dag door zon en alle comfort is aanwezig: een ligbad, douche, uitgeruste keuken met eiland, noem maar op! Het huis is in perfecte nieuw staat en helemaal kidsproof! 5 dikke sterren 🙏

Weekend met vrienden in de accommodatie van Ernest was geweldig! Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen met een rondleiding door het huis en tips over de omgeving. De accommodatie was schoon en aan alles was gedacht; handdoeken, welkomstdrankje, boekje met tips. Het centrum was prima te belopen of te bereiken met de bus. Wij hebben dit weekend erg genoten en voelden ons helemaal thuis, wij zouden dan ook zeker nog een keer terug komen!

Xavier was very communicative in the build up to our trip. On arrival we met him in person and he was very friendly and had provided good information verbally and in writing about useful shops and directions etc. The place had lots of room, very comfy sofa and beds. Lovely garden. Also some games available at the house. Great location to walk into the Bruges city centre, about a 20 minute walk. Would recommend to others. Bruges is a wonderful city to visit.

Fantastic stay. The holiday home has everything needed and more! Travelling with a baby and a 3 year old was made easy as Fillip had absolutely everything. The home is in beautiful surroundings, easy to find and great base for visiting Ypres, Bruges and Ghent. Fillip and his family were welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I highly reccomend!

We hebben genoten van ons familieweekend in het Duinenhuisje. De communicatie met de eigenares verliep heel vlot . We werden verwelkomd door de vriendelijke buurman ( gezien de eigenares afwezig was) en hebben een rondleiding gehad met alle nodige uitleg. Het huis is knus, heel praktisch ingericht en heel netjes en de tuin is ideaal voor groot en klein. De ligging en de rust is ook top. Het is echt een aanrader. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Tutto come descritto. Casa bellissima e ideale per chi vuole soggiornare in spazi grandi. A circa mezz’ora a piedi dal centro di Bruges in quartiere tranquillo e facilmente raggiungibile. Servizi in casa completi. Soggiorno veramente 🔝. Host gentile e reattivo, sempre disponibile. Super consigliato !!!

We hebben een heerlijk weekend met vrienden gehad. De kinderen vonden het zwembad fantastisch.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. ZALIG!!! Helemaal iets voor ons. Ruime afgesloten tuin. Ideaal voor de honden. Voor een bezoek aan het strand ( met kleine kinderen of oudere honden) best de auto nemen want het is toch een stukje wandelen tot aan de zee. Dankzij de tip van Isabelle ook naar de rustigere kant van het strand gegaan aangezien we niet zo van de drukte houden. En ook veel rustiger voor onze honden. Wij komen in elk geval zeker terug!

Julie was very helpful from the moment we booked, up until checking out. She sent very detailed instructions (even a video on how to get to the parking space!) and it honestly made the entire experience much smoother, especially with 2 toddlers. The place was as described and the kitchen appliances like kettle and coffee maker were available although we only used the microwave and the stove top. The place had a cot, a high chair and a child toilet seat which all came in very handy. Would highly recommend, especially for a smaller family.

Die Wohnung entsprach unserer Vorstellung, alles war sehr sauber. Alles notwendige vorhanden. Man fühlte sich direkt willkommen und zu Hause. Als Kaffeemaschine war eine Senseo vorhanden. Für uns perfekt. Hervorzuheben ist der gute und schnelle Kontakt zum Vermieter, der einem immer direkt mit Tat und Rat zur Seite steht. Auch der zugehörige private Parkplatz ist Gold wert. In der Gegend kann man nirgendwo umsonst parken und in der Saison sind auch oft alle Parkplätze belegt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Volle Empfehlung von uns!

Séjour idéal dans cet appartement avec la plage à nos pieds. Une pause enchantée pour notre famille avec cette vue magnifique sur l’horizon et les couchers de soleil. L’appartement est très confortable, vaste et bien équipé. Nous aimerions pouvoir revenir pour profiter du charme de la région ! Jean est un hôte attentif et très réactif.

Tres bon séjour en famille chez Verena. Communication facile et très efficace. L'appartement est bien équipé et conforme à la description. La vue sur la mer depuis le salon est très agréable. Il y a des activités et commerces a proximité.

Die Unterkunft ist super! Sehr schön eingerichtet und viel Platz für alle Gäste. Man ist direkt am Strand und kann auch schnell mit dem Zug nach Brügge!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l’appartement de Céline. Nous étions 8 (4 adultes et 4 enfants de 3 à 14 ans) et avions toutes la place nécessaire dans ce logement. La propreté était irréprochable et la quiétude du lieu était au rendez-vous. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Appartement super localisé - cuistax, digue, plage et commerces proches. C’est super pratique d’avoir également une place de parking. L’appartement est conforme aux photos et a la description. Nous avons également apprécié le fait qu’il faisait bien chaud dans la pièce à vivre (en plein hiver), les jeux pour les enfants, le fait qu’il y ait une douche et un bain dans la salle de bains. Et le matelas Emma : Confo ++++

Alles was prima in orde, net zoals beschreven! Proper appartement en ideale ligging. Dicht bij het strand, de kerstmarkt en de winkelstraat. Hanne hield ons goed op de hoogte van hoe we binnen konden komen en ook tijdens het verblijf stuurde ze regelmatig een berichtje. Helemaal aan te raden!

Appartement très agréable et propre

I had such a lovely stay at Mylene's apartment, it's a great place to have the best of being beside the sea for some peace and the town a few minutes walk, tram stop behind the apartment too which was very handy! it's very comfortable, so we'll equipped too :) highly recommend you book in with Mylene if you are looking for accomodation in Belguim :)

Appartement un peu excentré, mais excellent pour les passionnés de chevaux (vue sur l hippodrome), un lieu extra pour se reposer, literie et propreté irréprochable, c était très agréable. Brigitte a communiqué avec beaucoup de clarté les instructions pour arriver, très agréable de pouvoir compter sur la flexibilité et la réactivité de Brigitte en cas de question. Merci pour cet accueil! 🌞

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

“Un immense merci à Zara pour ce merveilleux séjour ! Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. L’appartement est impeccable, bien équipé et décoré avec goût, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer qui nous a enchantés chaque matin. Un grand plus pour l’accueil chaleureux et bienveillant, non seulement pour nous, mais aussi pour notre chien Pile Poil qui s’est senti en vacances aussi bien que nous ! C’est rare de trouver des endroits aussi agréables et accueillants pour nos compagnons à quatre pattes. Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite et reviendrons avec grand plaisir. C est une adresse précieuse que nous garderons pour nos prochains séjours à Knokke.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Ruths Apartment in Blankenberge. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet eine fantastische Aussicht aufs Meer – ein echtes Highlight, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. Dank der idealen Lage konnten wir problemlos mit der Küstenbahn zwischen Knokke und De Haan pendeln, was unsere Ausflüge entlang der belgischen Küste sehr bequem gemacht hat. Auch Brügge war schnell und unkompliziert zu erreichen. Ruth ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
