Gasgrill and fireplace including wood vailbale A whirlpool (50€ for the stay, May/Sept.) is available for additional cost. Carport for one car (up to 2 m high) is available.

We felt very comfortable in Maike's apartment. First of all, the location is something special: surrounded by fields and small forests on a narrow road, with large old trees, including oaks and linden trees, under which you can also sit and have breakfast. The apartment is nicely large and cozy, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Maike and Thomas are very warm and friendly hosts. It was four wonderful days in the Südheide, where we also made some discoveries, in addition to the better-known destinations such as the "Heiligen Hain" or the fantastic Wienhausen Monastery.

A dining area is presented with a simple black table and two white chairs. A small decorative plant is placed in the center of the table on a round mat. A pendant light hangs overhead, while a vintage travel-themed poster is displayed on the wall.

Pia's place was exactly as described and we felt very comfortable. We stayed for two nights and felt comfortable from the first minute. At check-in, Pia was very flexible, as our arrival time changed several times due to train delays. And the communication in advance went well. The apartment is nicely furnished, it has everything you need and in the kitchen there are enough utensils to cook a variety of dishes even for longer stays. Both bed and sleeping couch were very comfy. We can only recommend it and would book it again if we are back in Gifhorn.

“We had a wonderful time in the old rectory in Steinhorst. Everything corresponded exactly to the description, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. The historic ambiance of the house creates a very special atmosphere. Andreas, the landlord, was extremely accommodating and made sure our stay went smoothly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thanks for the warm hospitality!"

The place was even better than expected. Absolute quiet, no cars to be heard far and wide. There are even 3 box spring beds in total. The private lake is beautiful and idyllic with oriole and mourning warblers in the old trees and even cranes. The apartment is very clean and everything is very new. We felt very comfortable. Communication with Simone was also great and very easy, everything very fluent and approachable.
