Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Wellington Region

We had a late check in, which wasn’t a problem. While small, the apartment was exactly what we required for two nights. Central location.

It was my 2nd time staying here and always a pleasure. Such a great spot. Rhys is a lovely host.

Staying at Rhys' apartment was well worth our money! A beautiful and clean place with all the needed things in the kitchen and bathroom. A minor hiccup at the begging of our stay was resolved extremely efficiently and professionally by Rhys. I'd highly recommend staying here, as I would again. A perfect stay

Loved this place- location was awesome, a quick walk from supermarket/ bus stops etc. Very handy place coming from the airport. This room is one of the quietest I've been to in awhile considering you are sharing a house... ie) it's not a family house so it's way more quiet! It's great to have your own bathroom next door. Lovely that Fiona had the heating going for me when I arrived on a cold rainy evening. Overall - I felt safe, warm and looked after during my 2 nights here. Thank you Fiona, I hope to be back!

clean convenient brand new in heart of Te Aro

Had an awesome weekend at Alex's place. Communication was great, the apartment was really central for airport transport, walking to the sights, supermarkets etc. Also spoiled for choice with heaps of great places to eat and drink nearby. The place was secure, spotlessly clean, very comfortable for 2 - the only con was we'd have liked an extra blanket for the cold winter nights.

Kai was extremely responsive to any questions. He offered luggage storage at the apartment reception (it appears the apartment is within a hotel complex) as early check in was not available upon arrival (Kai advised to check and was happy to accommodate if it was available upon arrival). He was also happy to arrange late checkout (11am) as our shuttle to the airport didn't pick us up until 10.40 and we would have had to have carried our luggage around for the morning until shuttle pickup. He was extremely helpful and responsive. Accommodation had everything you need, although a frying pan wouldn't go a miss, as it wasn't possible to cook any full meals with only 2 saucepans, so we ate out most nights instead. Accommodation is accessible to Lambton Quay via a back door which was a pleasant surprise, and is super easy to walk anywhere in wellington CBD even with children. Would highly recommend Kai as a host and would definitely stay again in future.

Great communication from booking all the way to checkout. The place was in a great location for us personally. The building was very clean, new and safe! It was absolutely worth what we paid and we would definitely stay again Gorgeous views too! <3

Gina and the family were all so welcoming and friendly! They went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay! Highly recommend

It was such a great trip! The time I spent with Shannon was absolutely wonderful. She has a lovely house and a wonderful room with a view of her beautiful, large garden. I'm so glad to tell you that the separate bathroom was also great. So there's nothing missing in her home! Shannon is such a friendly and helpful woman. She even let me move around her home as much as I liked and was so kind, giving me helpful tips on how to explore and get to know the area. Much appreciated!

We had a delightful time at Greet’s home, so comfortable and lovely options to sit and read/hang, whether it be sunrise amongst the trees or sunset on the deck. Only a few minutes walk to beach too. Greet was wonderful to communicate with and house was well stocked with things, like oils/spices/tea/bathroom items, and including an excellent array of books! Also an early check in and late check out was much appreciated as I was working from home at check out. Highly recommend, thank you Greet!

We were warmly welcomed and shown our accommodation which was on the upper floor of the house. Everything was just as described and we had the top floor to ourselves. The windows were double-glazed and kept the house quiet and warm. There were plenty of provisions as well as many 'little touches' which we appreciated. The property is a short walk away from both the train station, the bus terminal, and the Queensgate shopping centre.

Beautiful spot and great host. Will definitely book again for our next trip to upper hut 😁
