The train station is also a 15-minute walk away for a trip to Nuremberg or Ansbach. In 20-30 minutes you can be in the Franconian Lake District by car. Restaurants and supermarkets in the town center are also within walking distance.

Shopping is available in Bieswang directly (butcher, vegetables, egg shop), as well as in the surrounding villages and towns such as Pappenheim, Treuchtlingen & Eichstätt.
