This was my second stay at this cozy cabin near Yosemite, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect—just a short drive to the park, which makes it super convenient for exploring. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very responsive and attentive throughout the stay, making the experience smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits to Yosemite. Highly recommend!

great stay—everything was just as listed. clean place with solid amenities and the hammock was a really nice touch. the fireplace was already prepped, which made starting a campfire super easy. would definitely stay again! 10/10

Loved staying at Dee's place! She is a lovely lady and made us feel very welcome, along with her family. The location is very quiet and secluded, just outside of central Oakhurst, so a car is beneficial to reach the property. The studio is spacious and has a fridge and microwave, along with crockery and cutlery and 2 large beds. The wifi worked well and there is ample parking space. Driving time to the south entrance of Yosemite NP is 30 mins and to the main street in Oakhurst is around 7 mins. Here you can find 2 supermarkets and restaurants, etc.

Tom's Alpine Escape in Yosemite West was amazing! It was exactly as described/pictured and so much more! The instructions for finding it were great, it was a perfect location for getting to all of the Yosemite sites, and Tom has literally thought of everything you need. Check in and out were easy and Tom gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. Plus there were great personal touches like the bottle of wine and the cookie dough in the fridge which he left for us to enjoy! Cooking in the kitchen was a dream, the place was spotless, and everything was very comfortable and well thought out. The wifi was fast and great to have as was the AC with the heat. We highly recommend Tom's place and look forward to staying again, hopefully soon.

Overall great experience. Appreciated all of the rooms were on the same level so our older family members didn't have any trouble getting around. Shawnda and Marc are gracious hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay! Reminded me of our grandparents cottage. Loved the photos and art. Clearly many great memories have been made here by the family over the years :)

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Melissa provided great recommendations and was very responsive whenever we had a question. It’s about a 50 min drive from the cottage to the entrance of Yosemite.

Lloyd’s cabin was amazing! It is a new dwelling with all new appliances that worked so well. The surroundings were private and peaceful. Being within Yosemite National Park was extremely convenient as guest could avoid the possible long waits at the entrance gates. As stated, the valley is less than 30 minutes away and that is about as close as you can get without staying directly in valley with a mass of humanity outside your walls or tent. Driving directions to the house were accurate but it’s still a little tricky the first time getting there or arriving in the dark. Make sure you understand the directions as much as possible before arriving. I should also add that cooking in the kitchen was a blast, and both beds were extremely comfortable. Weather permitting, keep your windows open all night for a pleasant night’s sleep. Lloyd was a great host who kept in touch with us often.

I had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed after a long day of hiking. Darrin was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the park while enjoying a peaceful place to unwind!

The condo was conveniently located. Everything was as pictured and clean! Just an FYI-we tried to enter the condo 15 minutes early and we could not. We would definitely stay here again!!

DON'T MISS THIS GEM! If you are going to be in the Yosemite/Oakhurst area, please consider staying at this property. Conan is a "superhost" for good reason. He couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. It was like having our own personal travel guide. He was so helpful with making our Yosemite experience great. You do stay in his home, which may make some people uncomfortable. Let me reassure you, Conan gives you complete privacy. You have your own bedroom and bathroom upstairs, which is completely stocked with anything you may need...refrigerator; water, drinks, snacks, coffee, tea, robes, jackets, walking sticks, emergency kits, etc. I was even able to do a load of wash while I was there! His house is up on a hill and had a beautiful sunset view. Not only does he provide everything you need, he makes a delicious breakfast each morning. It was the best Airbnb experience we ever had.

My son and I had a great 4 night stay. We travel a lot and this was one of the best rentals we have found.The cabin is quite clean and comfortable. Everything just like the listed description. The front deck was spacious and comfortable and we spend a lot of time there after a day full of hiking Yosemite (which is a short drive away). The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. The cabin is located in Wawona, a small neighborhood of cabins that are spaced out to give lots of privacy. There's a small store walking distance down the road in case you forgot something. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. They provided excellent pre-trip info and answered any questions that came up. We will be back!

What a wonderful home. It had so many amenities from a fully stocked kitchen, to plentiful linens, throws and towels, a pool table room, outdoor fire put, new gas BBQ, and a hot tub. All with a view of the redwoods overlooking the redwoods. It felt luxurious and comfortable. The hosts were so quick to respond with questions and also checked back with to make sure we were comfortable. what a great home for a large group or just us two! And just under an hour to Yosemite. The local Chilnualna Falls and Swinging Bridge was great to visit too.
