If you want to go to Yosemite/Sierra/Mariposa, this is THE BEST airbnb location to stay in - host is awesome and the house is super comfortable!

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made check-in seamless. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet at night. We would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Airbnb experience!

The stay is pleasant. Was surprised by the $50 gate fee but it’s on the page so should have paid more attention.

We stayed three nights, found the place very comfortable with amazing surroundings. Yosemite park was just 1h away. The stars at night looked amazing.

Great cabin for our recent trip to Yosemite, had exactly what was needed after a few long hikes during the day.

The cottage is cozy and the perfect place for a couple to stay. Really enjoyed the welcome and the cleanliness. Besides having the sound of the creek in the background my favorite part of the stay was the vintage claw foot tube. Hot baths after a day of hiking in Yosemite was a cherry on top! The bed is soft and the linens were smooth. I slept well all 4 nights we stayed.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I don’t usually write reviews but this place warrants a good review. The staff in the camp store were kind and eager to help. The cabin was spotless when I arrived and everything functioned as it should. Overall I had a great experience, 10/10 would come back.

Great location just a short drive to Yosemite. Cabin if fully equipped , clean, with a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed our time and Ken had great communication.

It’s a very private place for a family to stay. Specially the friendly animals, if you have kids, they probably going love the farm animals, my daughter love the two donkeys . Got to say for the price near Yosemite. This probably it’s the better option for a family want some privacy and some quiet time, and the rooms are great. And the host Jason was very friendly. Definitely worth the visit. Plus if you have a dog, the host are friendly to dogs too, we had two dogs with us this time.

I have resided at Marilyn's cottage years before making for a very pleasant return. Updates to the place were well-placed, improving an already fantastic place. This speaks to Marilyn's eye for the importance of details as it relates to comfort. I would stay again.

My family had a wonderful weekend at the Airbnb! We felt right at home and comfortable. The views were stunning and the upper deck was our favorite place to hang out and enjoy morning coffee before heading into Yosemite! 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back for another stay :)

Our family had an amazing stay at Yelena’s place! The check-in was seamless, the space was spotless and cozy, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains. Thoughtful touches and great amenities such as the pool and air hockey tables made it even better. Yelena was super responsive. We’d definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

The house is great! It’s quiet and spacious. It’s about an hour and some minutes away from the arch rock entrance to Yosemite but it’s a nice drive. Don’t expect signal or wifi while you drive. The house is big and can fit about 4-6 people maybe more if people are bunking together. The kitchen is huge! I love the history of the house it used to be restaurant so I guess that’s why the kitchen is huge. The beds are warm and comfortable, those space heaters are magicians because they work so well!! Only issue was the dishwasher, which we never used, but Nicole was responsive even though it was Christmas Day (thank you again Nicole!) Overall cute house near Yosemite it’s rustic and has all the amenities. Would happily stay here again!

A really nice place to stay at when you’re in the area or planning to go to Yosemite like we did! The place itself was beautiful and clean. Rhonda is also a wonderful host !!

Quiet location. We were able to see some deer roaming on our first day. Games and activities for the kids. Can easily call for assistance if needed.

Sherri is a wonderful host. Their home is set up well for groups. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the home with enough space for us all to sleep and hang out. Sherri was helpful with recommendations and flexible with requests. Their home is very near Oakhurst but also private and in nature. We were pleasantly surprised by seeing a deer our first night. Also, the house is well stocked with board games. We had an enjoyable family celebration and getaway to Yosemite. We look forward to visits again.

Casey’s place was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yosemite!

Katie’s place was beautiful, spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities that were offered. The cabin is conveniently located about 30 min from the main entrance to Yosemite and 5 minutes to Bass lake. The cabin was clean and cozy! It is a little tricky to find the cabin when you initially check-in especially if you arrive past sunset, the area is quite dark and it’s located at the end of a long small road and you loose cell service, the host offers clear instructions on how to arrive. overall we had a great stay and highly recommended it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Avand was super helpful and accommodating & his place met all our expectations. Some highlights for me were the disco ball in the back patio/kitchenette area, the hot tub and the hammock & the bidet lol. And of course the constant sound of frogs and crickets :) We also had some turkey friends that visited daily. The location is an easy drive to downtown mariposa with a bunch of great little restaurants, grocery stores and shops. And a beautiful 50min-1hr drive to Yosemite! Highly recommend & would stay again!

Very straightforward and easy to get into and overall great experience for first time and the host was very helpful and very nice i really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend to others try:)

It’s like going back to what I grew up in as a child in Michigan on a small lake (without the maintenance). I didn’t have the bear themed light switches but we did have wall mounted antlers and almost identical red wood deck. Next time I’ll set aside time to sip coffee at one of the many seats on the deck in the shade of pine trees sounds of birds and the familiar smell of a distant wood burning stove. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Each room has a door to outside so you don’t need to disturb others if wanting to going in and out early morning. Rooms are large enough. Walkable neighborhood with a blend of rustic and newer cabins, set back from the main road so no traffic and you might find yourself picking up a short conversation with someone else outside while walking. Overall good experience and recommend for anyone wanting a cabin getaway.

This is the second time we stayed at this place, and both times it was great… place was clean, nice rural views. The cabin is very homey. Thanks Mark! We will likely book again sometime.

Definitely recommend booking with Wendy if your looking for a home on the lake. This is our second time staying in this rental and we will continue booking for our weekend getaways. The home is heated by a wood fire and warms up the house quickly. There's additional room heaters as well which was nice to have in the morning. The rental is clean, everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal, and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Jacuzzi was clean and was relaxing to look at the stars on a cold night. Thank you again Wendy for accommodating us in your home! Can't wait for our next trip.
